HOW TO DEAL WITH TV LICENSING GOONS (BBC TV Licence, Capita, TVL, RTE)

  • ABOUT THE TV LICENCE: Although they rarely use violence, the BBC effectively operates an extortion racket targeted at every household in the UK. Their method of operation is very simple but has worked successfully in the UK for over 60 years. They rely solely on the inducement of fear. They use a company called Capita to send out threatening letters to UK addresses that do not have a TV Licence. These letters state that their records show that the address doesn't have a TV License and that failure to buy a TV License will result in a £1,000 fine. If after several attempts this fails to worry the occupier into purchasing a TV License, they then send a "TV License Inspector" from their "Enforcement Team" to your address to scare you into compliance and/or to obtain information from you - such as your name and your admission that you are receiving live TV broadcasts on the premises. Once they have this, they can then threaten you with imminent court action.
    If they fail to get any compliance from you at all, then they'll continue to send out threatening letters and a "TV License Inspector" will be sent out periodically to remind you of what could happen if you don't buy a TV License. Regardless of whether you have a TV, this will continue until you agree to pay up for a TV License. Once the occupier has paid up, the TV License Inspector receives their commission and the doorstep harassment and threatening letters stop for 12 months. After the 12 months has elapsed, the threatening letters and the doorstep harassment starts again.
    This extortion process has kept the BBC in business for the last 60 years and has yielded over £3 billion a year, which is far in excess of what a broadcasting company like Sky survives on through advertising and subscription revenue. The only people who profit from this immoral enterprise are the establishment who benefit from the propaganda that the BBC puts out, and also the greedy executives of the BBC and their enforcement companies who line their pockets with money extorted from the poor, the elderly, and the naïve.
    Clearly, the BBC's purpose is to extort money from as many households as they can on an annual basis by sending goons out to non-licenced addresses to harass the occupants. If you don't have a TV, they hope that by harassing you enough with threatening letters and home visits, you'll be coerced into buying a Licence just to stop the harassment. But of course, what's the point of having a TV licence if you don't have a TV? So of course you'll then buy a TV just to get your money's worth. And as long as you're watching TV, they can manage your perception of reality via the propaganda that pours out of it, especially from the BBC. So it's a win-win situation for them.
    But you can turn the tables on them, legally and lawfully... Here are some simple rules to follow when dealing with these people:
    HOW TO DEAL WITH TV LICENCE GOONS! (BBC, CAPITA, TV LICENSING, RTE)
    Never reply to any letters that they send to you. Never provide them with your name or any other personal info, never admit to anything, and never allow them into your home.
    Make sure you have a video camera ready to film them when they come to your door. This will enable you to capture evidence of any intimidation or threats that they might try to use.
    Make sure you hand them a copy of a "Removal of Implied Right of Access" notice. This will mean that they will be committing a criminal offence of "aggravated trespass" if they come to your door again in the future. Also, print out a copy of a "Fee Schedule" and have it ready to hand to them when they come to your door. This schedule will outline how much you will be charging them each time you are harassed or inconvenienced by them. This schedule has legal standing so you will be able to invoice them each time they send you a letter or visit your home. You can obtain the template letters from various sites, such as: www.getoutofdeb...
    And finally, never be scared of these racketeers, as they prey on your fear. They have no rights whatsoever to enter your property and they will be trespassing if they continue to come to your door after you have removed their implied right of access. Even if they know that you have a TV, they cannot obtain a warrant to enter your home unless you have admitted that you are receiving live TV broadcasts and that you require a TV Licence. As long as you don't provide them with any information, there is nothing they can do.

      Xenophagia - It's quite simple, the BBC provides public broadcast television and radio of the highest quality, without any advertising (so, for example, you get to watch a movie all the way through without interuption). The quality of the programming is world class and much of it is exported to television companies overseas, so you may have seen some (e.g. Life on Earth; Fawlty Towers; Top Gear; Horizon; BBC world service news etc.). In society, there are always some freeloaders who don't want to pay their share. The person who uploaded this video is one of those. (p.s. I love foreign food too).

    • @alanrennox7340
      @alanrennox7340 6 ปีที่แล้ว +40

      People have the right to opt out of tv licensing, It's called Legally License Free. As long as you don't receive live TV Broadcast or download from BBC I Player, you do not need a License. It is not freeloading, why pay for a service you don't use. BBC radio is not covered by TV License anymore, only BBC TV and BBC I-player. In these days of pay TV and on demand there is no need for live broadcast. As for the BBC making high quality tv programmes, give me a break, they may air a few good programmes But they are made by 3rd party companies and eventually sold to netflix, sky, amazon etc. I waited a year to watch the night manager on netflix because I don't have live broadcast. just netflix and Amazon Prime. Also the License enforcement officers do not work for the BBC or the government and posses no legal authority.

    what gets me the most is that they always say "have you got a TV" and yet having a TV has nothing to do with needing a tv licence in any way - it needs to be looked at by the police and government as they have banned cold calling people yet this company are allowed to do it.

      @monozuki ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dack6528 Basically on their website they will say "whether a person is watching live tv" but what tha really means is "if a person is watching LIVE BBC programmes, watches anything via BBC Player, or on BBC website/YT/others watches live broadcasting FROM BBC ONLY". So if you watch, say, Sky live - that's none of their business. So it's not whether you have a TV - you can have one and very well never use it for things other than streaming services.

    • @sammylpt9076
      @sammylpt9076 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @monozuki I’m not sure if that’s factually correct. Live broadcasts would mean any channel not just the BBC. MoneySavingExpert for example states if you watch anything live broadcasted then you need a tv licence. If you watch catch up on anything excluding BBC Iplayer then you don’t need a licence.
      Do you have a legit source that states it’s only BBC channels restricted? Even if you have Sky and are watching Channel 5 live you need a tv licence. It’s something to do with the live broadcasting act.

    I don't know why the BBC actually believe every single home has a TV. With the computer age, people use that to access programmes that are free of charge! The BBC TV Licence is outdated and they need to accept that they may have had their day, but that is long gone!! Give it up! Stick some adverts on their channel and stop charging people for a service they do not want!! Do remember its called a BBC TV Licence and not a TV Licence - its sole purpose is to pay the BBC for transmission, you don't need to licence a TV, you need a licence to WATCH BBC.

    Australia had licensing along the BBC/UK model in the beginning but soon ditched it because it was confrontational like this. Imagine trying this on a bunch of Australians! We reacted much the same.
    Initially they drove around in a detector van that was tuned to the 5.5mhz signal coming from every TV in those days, same as UK did.
    Nowdays TV can't be detected by this method because it's digital so that side of the scam doesn't work anymore. How they get you now is by innocently asking your name or if you have a TV. If you provide the info they try to serve the warrant & hope you'll be afeared to pay.
    The Tories need to give this utter scam up as the bad joke it is.
    Charge all the commercial channels fees to transmit like Australia & US & everybody else do.

      @Paula Cannon I completely relate to this but you really shouldn’t give in to their bullying. Just ignore every letter you get, if anyone knocks you aren’t expecting don’t answer. I am keeping every letter I get as evidence of the harassment. This is what worries me, vulnerable and elderly people being harrassed into getting licences they don’t need. My letters have come for so long now they actually say occupier as they aren’t sure if I’m still there or not. If you want to stop the letters you can call them every 18 months and say you still don’t require a licence. I’m not doing that as I have no need to reply to a service I don’t need. Try and stay strong and tell them you don’t need a licence and you have been bullied into getting one. You can send your letter to me if you want and I’ll get rid of them for you 🙂

    • @bobbybobster7595
      @bobbybobster7595 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @bobbybobster7595

      @Steve Prince. I receive letters every month and constant threats of visits. I did call initially to cancel and they kept quiet for the first 18 months then threats to visit started up again and they told me I would have to contact them every 18 months to tell them I don’t need a licence still and this would be followed up with checks, I also removed their implied right to access. I would have to contact them every year to tell them I still don’t require their services and have them check by visiting my home. Neither of those options is acceptable because I have no contract with them or require their services. Would a milk man you used to use be allowed to hassle you to this level? I’ve had this for 10 years now, so you are either lucky or lying. I’ve got friends who haven’t had TVs for 20 years and they get harrassed too. Why would you excuse this behavior? The only way for it to stop would be to buy a licence, which is what venerable people do. I don’t really care what you believe, just because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to others.
