    Another superb video, I like this channel and Kelly is truly world class. The 4000 pad washer is the closest thing there is for detailers that dust extraction is for sanders. it's safer for detailers as there's no residue in the air. I did say some years ago to a leader in the industry that pads and liquids would get closer and closer to being "Universal" in years to come and he said that isn't possible. I first envisioned a universal pad back in 2007 though it's still not here yet but we're closing in on it with active rebound foam and probably more versatile foams to come yet. Foam pads that are machine universal are the way to go (featuring very smart pad edge profiles) and one or two foam grades that cover any detailers requirements to correct and finish or use after wool or microfibre will be the future. No more need for five six or seven different grades of foam pads in a range. Their almost obsolete already IMHO. Keep it simple.

      Glad you enjoyed it... Yes, keeping things much simpler is the way to go

    Getting into polishing I have a 15mm 5in long throw and a 3in polisher for the smaller places they are both maxshine. Could you recommend a certain pad for me for each. Thanks!!

    I might pick up a HDO Pad next spring but after trying some of the leading brands i really like lake country SDO blue and especially orange, they are my favorite foam pads. I use them on a 15mm DA.

    I really like Lake Country pads. I wish they still made the Kompressor pads.

    Excellent Vid :) CCS still sold heavily in US and Australia, and the HDO is an excellent pad. Great to see the new version combining both. Certain products work better with the dimples and some don't.

    Thanks for an informative session. Having bought a Vertool force drive machine I then bought the LC force pads as it made more sense to me than carry on using the Hex Logic Ones.
    Having tried various lotions and potions on the windscreen of my Volvo V70 trying to remove a film that appears in the rain I'm now thinking of using some Ceriglass on it. Would you recommend the LC glass pad with the Vertool or would I be better off with the small hand pad kit instead?

    I’m making a thousand dollars a day as a detailer in Sydney. Even I get immense value watching these excellent vids.

    so 2 step is blue and orange or blue and black?

    • @TheDetailingSpace
      @TheDetailingSpace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably blue and black or orange and black....
      Black is a super soft finishing pad, so you'd finish with that. Do your main polishing with either blue or orange, depending on the level of cut you need or paint you're working on
