*the key is becoming aware of our negative thoughts, becoming an observer without judging ourselves, taking the time to understand where they are coming from, what are we telling ourselves. When we become aware then it gets easier to substitute them for positive ones*

I like how I successfully programed my mind to mute all commercials on youtube....Then I forget to unmute the video. :) Mr. Bean where are you may mute even the orchestra. :) ......I like some czech actor did interviews along with few other actors..........He said he is a jerk (mentally fragile and sensitive) he has therapist, he talks openly about it....He also has obsession of cleaning the house with vacuum cleaner, and using all kinds of cleaning products...and he is doing jokes about it, his friends also do jokes of his cleaning obsession....The viewers askedwhether during this coronavirus he enjoyed the cleaning, whether he had the orgasm from cleaning..He was joking in another episodes of the live streamthat he is having orgasm from the cleaning, that its like porn. that he doesnt like robitic vacuum cleaners, because he doesnt get the rush of energy from it....He takes his mental anxiety or condition seriously, but also he is joking around because he is an actor from Ukraine, living in czech His friends actorsdo joke about it too......During this corona crisis he says he cant listen the politicians on tv so he used to mute the tv, he was doing dabing and creating his own text, of their speech.... and watching and learning their body language, learning their various of types of personalities, so he may use it in his work, in theater....When he gets tired of the tv he is going to clean the house......twice...Viewers asked him whether he borrowed some cleaning products, or vacuum cleaner on vacation...He said yes, I cleaned everything and the guy thought I am a jerk.

    I really needed this. But...
I recently ended a relationship and its been though for me to deal with it. As Dr. Dispenza mentioned, it's been weeks now and every day my head starts to think about this girl and it feels almost like a war zone between thinking "we were not compatible" VS "the problem is on me" and even though of course there are some things I learnt from this experience to improve those aspects of me, I keep feeling sad all of sudden, keep wondering, etc. We do not talk anymore if you could wonder that but listening to this I worry that it becomes part of my personality, in respect to relationships. Adding more to the fact that I noticed recently I have become an introvert in the recent years; I have been distancing myself from people, judging them in my mind because of bad experiences trusting people, getting lied on, etc. so I started to "prevent" myself to interact with them; I was not like this years before, and of course human nature notices this so I think they perceive my introvertness...
Well I just opened myself here, I just wanted it to say it, if you kept reading, thanks a lot and I am sorry if this issues with me may become a load for your day.
    Blessings 🙁👐

This was the first interview that got me hooked to impact theory. Dr Joe Dispenza defines so elegantly about how an incident leads to emotions, to mood, to personality. Understanding how our thoughts would change our body and vice versa is really important to start making a shift. Thanks for the reminder Tom. And it was a great interview with Dr Joe Dispenza.

Its helping me get over being dumped by my boyfriend recently due to my fearful actions to being threatened by his ex. Fear takes over and leads to anger the energy required for fight and flight. Everyone in the situation was acting on fear but I can only change myself. Pity I didn't know then what I know now.

Memory and emotion are an amazing thing. This is interesting one of my guests on my channel, NLP Comedian Michael Bennett, said the same stuff. Joe explained mood and temperament really well. I also interviewed a Sports Psychologist Joann Lukins too and she suggested a good way to change is using what is referred to as the "Goal, when, then" strategy. I really love hearing this stuff and cannot get enough. I love hearing about other people's passions and learning from their common human experience. Thus why I came up with People with a Passion. Tom's guests are alwaays inspiring.

I disagree. Unless you actually turn your attention inward and destroy all of your inner demons you are merely playing emotional games. You are actually being deluded by your self, into freely giving your self exactly what IT wants. And as such, your suffering will continue.

@@AndreyZenperial No. Positive thinking will not get you very far at all. All you will in fact end up doings is going around and around in a series of never ending circles. One day contented, and the next unhappy. Look! You will never achieve the hallowed state of equilibrium (constant peace of mind) by compromising with your enemy. The truth is, you will actually have to burn your enemy out of you by turning the light of your attention inward and directing it straight at him. I mean, why do you think that all demons hide in the dark as they do? If not in an effort to avoid the light of your attention. Their 'one and only' real fear.

All negativity does not in fact come from human beings. As all human beings are in fact a 'body of love'. All negativity actually comes from that body of 'past pain' that slowly builds up within the stomach area of each of us over time. A body of past pain that is constantly working to express itself through not only our thoughts. But also through all of our cruel words and actions. Yes, your SELF. He is your one and only real enemy.

    Negative thinking is a habit.
It is a thought pattern that has been conditioned.
Avoid recalling negative scenarios because that will invoke the same emotions and therefore glue the memories.
Emotions are like glue to experiences. The more emotion that is around, the deeper the experience will get wired.
