    How can you adjust a stock KRX 1000 rear wheel with a toe in problem? There does not appear to be any means to adjust the rear tires on a KRX 1000. Is my only option to correct this problem is to install an after market A-Arm that has adjust or install radius arms that have adjustments. And of these two options which would you recommend?

    • @SlikRokProductions
      @SlikRokProductions  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct you would need to install aftermarket radius rods that are adjustable. We run the satv billet rods and adjusted it perfectly

I have a 23 KRX 1000, rock crawling and technical trails at slow pace is my style, i live in south central Pa and try to get out to windrock a couple times a year, wish i were closer to Tennessee..Lol, thanks for any insight you can offer, im also running satv boxed a-arms 1.5 forward offset and 40" motoravage tires on sti 18" 6+1 wheels

    Thanks for the info. I just lifted my 2014 Teryx4 Le with a SuperAtv 2" lift & Superatv 1.5 high clearance ARMS with 6" bullet 30% portals on 18" MSA M38 Brute black machine wheels 4+3 offset with 34" EFX Motovators. I am getting ready to set my tow & caster/camber or take it to where I work & put it on the alignment machine if possible.

    I have a question regarding alignment. Me: 2014 RZR XC 800 with 26 X 9 X 00R14. On the front. 26 X 11 X 00R14 on the rear.
    I saw a local ad online, private sale of 4 RZR rims with tires. (Bighorns) practically new... Size 29 X 9 X 00R14 front and in the rears 29 X 11 X 00R14’s
    I payed 420, Roughly. (Just setting up my mindset here.) I was excited to put them on my rig. The seller warned me the tires may not fit my particular rig, because they are simply too large for the wheel wells. I said, “so what!”
    I returned home, and found the new rims were not inset enough to use. With some measurements, I discovered the Engine Mount on a 800 RZR will be in the way of the tires on the back passenger side. The drivers side rear had clearance of about 3/4 inch off the frame, if I cut a inch or so off the corner of a lip on the frame. The front tire wells would need to be enlarged for any turning and shock compression. I used a heat gun to slowly bend the firewall kick plates inside the passenger cabin and that adjustment required inward pressure from the wheel wells by placing a fire wood log between the tires while reeling on the steering to jam the logs into the firewall, and and using the heat gun, it worked in short order. Then. I inspired.... what? What if? I asked my local tire shop t mount my new larger tires on my existing rims? First issue solved. Then! I could take it a step further. Mount the widest rear tires on my front skinny rims, and in turn, mount the skinnier tires on my wide rear rims and then put the front rims on the rear with the fat tires and the wider Rear rims on the front with the skinny tires. That was almost like a tongue twisted nightmare but I got it out. -- and now. That is what I’m dealing with. Clearance with no need for spacers. I found that by using my rear rims as the guide for the front, it was not logical. As they were smaller not as wide of rims then the fronts. So-
    Can I just do it backwards? Use the fronts as a guide for the back? Anyway. It’s too late to turn back now. Have you ever heard of such a thing? And Please... I need to finish this Frankenstein monster, soon. PS: I fell asleep twice, writing this.

    How do you adjust the rear Toe? I just installed new radius rods, trailing arms and portals on a 17 rzr turbo 4, all components are super atv high clearance. My toe is almost 3/4 in off.

    • @tylerd6517
      @tylerd6517 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can’t. Rzrs don’t have a adjustable toe link. That’s why can ams have 3 radius rods vs 2 like the rzr.

    Im curious what you would recommend for a tire for my car, i have 4 portals with 15% reduction, and currently have super atv XT warriors y for tires. I love the traction but they seem to be wearing down really fast as i drive on gravel alot and pavement occasonally to get to the mud, snow or dirt wheeling, i am looking for something that would hold up longer on the tread but still have good traction for wheeling. Thanks for info about toe adjustment as i just replaced steering rods due to snapping stock one into on a stump.

    One thing Super atv doesn’t tell you when you get portals is that you need to boost your steering, and to run clevis tie rods or you will get steering wobble with ball and socket type.

    Hey guys great video. I have a question. I have a polaris general with 32in tires on it. The super atv ones you guys are using to show toe. Coming from a jeep I would adjust 1/4in to in. I think that is how I set the general. I will definitely change that. Next question is I just bought the new krx1000 and don't like the way the tires sit. I measured and it has 1.5in to in. Not sure why Kawasaki would do that or it was rushed from the factory. Is it best to set it up with out any toe? Same front and rear of tire? I'm in eastern Pennsylvania and have lots of rocks/ mud. Seems dealer didn't know the spec when I asked them about the alignment.

      Hello, we always try and set up our machines as close to 0 toe as possible and at most a quarter inch toed in

    I have a 2013 can am commander and had a bent tie rod, OEM Tie rods are pretty weak anyway. Got an aftermarket set which were a lot beefier, Not sure I got the alignment right in the front. Or maybe I did but a jam nut came loose and it unthreaded itself and next thing I know, the passenger side tire is towed out pretty noticeably. Do you guys recommend using some blue loktite on the threads and jam nut? Thanks!!!

    I’ve got a ‘21 pioneer 1000 with the factory wheels and tires on it. 27x9x14 in the front and 27x11x14 in the back. Would this method still work? Only 200 miles on it and the right front tire is getting eat up much worse than the left.
