Massive respect to Bishop. Maybe it wasn't obvious back in the day, but to beat Kaz on a head to head means you are something special.

I dont think he is underrated, just unknown for new fans of the sport or casuals. He was one of the big names of the first era and one of the top 5 to never win WSM.

Got fed up with other people uploading thier content. The wsm management is still in the Stone Age with respect to social media, but they have woken up to the fact you snooze you lose

My dad was a pro power lifter in the 80’s. Once he took me to see Don Reinhoudt do an exhibition. He ripped a phone book in half and blew up a hot water bottle, those are things you don’t forget seeing at the age of 10!!!🤯👏

I’m never sure if I like 1980 or ‘82 more.
It’s too bad Don Reinhoudt got injured, we could have had the first powerhouse static rivalry between Don and Kaz realistically.

He did in 1979, and he was already past his prime when Kaz was coming into his own. It’s a shame we couldn’t have seen more between the two of them. The weights they pulled back then are still pretty formidable to the genetic giants we have now.
