If I was one of your neighbors I'd start a youtube channel called "Living next door to Garage 54". All it would be is a webcam pointed at your shop and streaming all day long. I'd make a fortune.
Videos like this one are solid proof that these guys are very talented mechanics and fabricators. Using new parts and making the shafts between the joints shorter, and it would be crazy to see!
What a bunch of absolute madmen! Amazing! I'm kinda surprised he stood next to that car while those shafts were spinning. If a joint broke heavy spinning metal is dangerous!
This could become a fad, like those huge exhaust pipes on show cars in Japan. They have a whole scene about that. Next up, how much drive shaft can you expose and how flashy can you make it? Paint? Tape? LEDs?
I'd love it, but torque = N*m so the more the meters the more Newtons you need. Basically the opposite of giving your car more power which will turn down many people.
That is one hilarious looking Lada & the paint stripes on the prop shaft looked trippy & the prop shaft blew apart as the car was given the beans!🤣😂 Yup fix prop shaft & let’s go for a drive!!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Mechanic's wife: Honey, it's time to get up! You have to go to work.(in Russian of course) Mechanic: No, I saw him collecting all these drive shafts. I don't want to find out what the plan is. I don't want to be close to the shop today. Tell Vlad I'm sick. (also in Russian)
As a welder, tinkerer and imaginative guy this would be my dream job 😂 just spend all day building something just because you wanna see what will happen. I love it
Awesome project!!! Love it!!! At least in my English speaking part of the world (im not sure about others) when you say “prop shaft” you are only referring to any application where a PROPeller is being used. Plain, boat… the phrase used for what you built today is a drive shaft because it is not connected to a propeller. I love the vids so much and am grateful that you have any translation at all.
It's still called a prop shaft because it *propels* the car, so while it isn't connected to a propeller, it still performs the same function and it is still correct to name it as such. In British English it is known as a prop shaft, a drive shaft in British English refers to the shafts that connect the drive wheels to the output side of the differential.
Can you make a Lada ride on two in-line fat tires like a motorcycle that includes heavy enough swinging counterweights that will allow it to go around corners and stay upright?
I like this this idea ! However, I would like to see this rather large accessory shaft perform some kind of work, in addition to it's primary function. Some suggestions : A butter churn, an ice cream maker, a musical instrument of some kind, a bubble machine, etc. 😄
It's a lada long shaft with a spinning lada mohawk, not your normal deth trap. That thing is awesome. It looks awesome and must have ben a pain to build
All ideas and all builds from you and your team are amazing, its the best what i love to see,i mean okay cars tuning and and and, alone your legend ideas are so nice to see,its a standalone. Thanks And iam look this from germany, and i want to say the most germans are not hate russia,we love them!!!
Looks like something Wil-E-Coyote would strap himself to go after roadrunner. I love your videos and enjoy the ridiculousness and absurdity of the ideas.
If I had been a universal joint specialist and Vlad told me he had one uni knocking and making noise, I would of said it's perfect if it's just one out of the hundred on there!
I stopped asking "why" a long time ago and simply enjoy the madness.
Someday an explorer in the future is going to stumble upon all this...
Why is because they can 😜
That's called art
I approve. :D
For science
When you start laughing from the tumbnail only
I always wonder when they will run out of car ideas, they always come up with something crazy!
"Tumbnail" had me dying. 😅😂
i thought it was gonna be a stunt car from the thumbnail, like a front flip thing. then i read the caption and *i* was rolling! 🙂🙃🙂🤣😂
Yesss👋😂👍
You may just have a Guinness world record for longest prop shaft on a short wheel base car!
That would be an interesting record. 3.6 meters per meter.
Just have to pay a bunch to certify it...
Too bad Guinness probably won't recognize a "Russian" record. Stupid or not politics matter more than anything. Shame love g54
@@jibzz4749 Petty cash.
It's like 3 peters per meter.
When the racing tech inspection said you need a driveshaft loop i dont think you guys were all on the same page
Those bastards once told me I needed a fire suit. Then got all pissy when I started pouring the gasoline on.
This is another proof that they never run out of ideas ❤😮
Propshaft level : 54
They may run out of Ladas before they run out of ideas....
Customer complaint: small vibration while driving :)
Customer Complainr 2: Lots of of horrible scraping noises when I try to park in a Multi Storey Car Park.....
Customer states he brought it to another shop
Customer states: he had his cousin weld in a new driveshaft
Vlad has the BEST MECHANICS EVER. I can imagine their faces and reactions when Vlad send them to make those crazy contraptions
If I was one of your neighbors I'd start a youtube channel called "Living next door to Garage 54". All it would be is a webcam pointed at your shop and streaming all day long. I'd make a fortune.
👋😂👍yesss
"Garage 53"
Garage 54½
Nah, then it'd ruin the surprise for the rest of us.
The boys have outdone themselves this time! Fantastic stuff. Mad props to y'all.
Hah
👌😂👍aaaahhh I see what you did there!
Rest of the world: Why should we even do that? Some russians in their garage: We just do it because its fun!
Its amazing how similar Russians and Rednecks are. You never know what the hell your going to end up with at the end.
Videos like this one are solid proof that these guys are very talented mechanics and fabricators. Using new parts and making the shafts between the joints shorter, and it would be crazy to see!
I am always impressed with this guy's english and ventriloquism. Sometimes, his lips dont even move at all.
Yeah, and it's crazy how everyone in that country sounds like the same dude pitched up and down. Even the women!
Good one! XD
I love how he speaks 2 languages at once!
Thank you for putting so much effort in your content. I enjoy it.
Wonderful off-road setup! No clearance issues on the drivetrain!
That is a fantastic invention! You had me at the thumbnail.
What a bunch of absolute madmen! Amazing! I'm kinda surprised he stood next to that car while those shafts were spinning. If a joint broke heavy spinning metal is dangerous!
Finally a car that is both practical AND efficient!
This could become a fad, like those huge exhaust pipes on show cars in Japan. They have a whole scene about that. Next up, how much drive shaft can you expose and how flashy can you make it? Paint? Tape? LEDs?
In Korea it's already a Thing
Everyone does this driveshaft over the roof
@@ncjohn3429 LOL, no way, really?
@@piquat1 North Korea
I'd love it, but torque = N*m so the more the meters the more Newtons you need. Basically the opposite of giving your car more power which will turn down many people.
You guys are freaking crazy LOL
This is the type of madness I stay subscribed for.
These guys never run out of ideas
5:32 that’s hypnotic! 😂
The Lada goes full Klingon.
That is one hilarious looking Lada & the paint stripes on the prop shaft looked trippy & the prop shaft blew apart as the car was given the beans!🤣😂 Yup fix prop shaft & let’s go for a drive!!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Hahahahaha! one of the main reasons I watch this channel is what off the wall thing will they think of next!!! Great laughs at this one guys.
You have a smart young man working for you. A+
Thats wild im amazed how many ideas you have and how much effort you put into it. its not clickbait you always do it like viewer want to see
You guys are awesome. And the ideas are endless.. I can’t imagine what you guys could do with a huge budget.
Mechanic's wife: Honey, it's time to get up! You have to go to work.(in Russian of course)
Mechanic: No, I saw him collecting all these drive shafts. I don't want to find out what the plan is. I don't want to be close to the shop today. Tell Vlad I'm sick. (also in Russian)
The visuals with the painted lines look really cool, actually.
The white paint is brilliance 👍
I can’t believe there’s a Chevy Tahoe 😂 10:29
this is why im subscribed. this is ground breaking
That propshaft does circles around conventional propshafts. They gave that Lada the shaft at the end though.
This is exactly why I watch your channel.
Now take it to the driveline shop to get it balanced 😂
Good to see you found a use for all the prop shafts you had lying around although you found out were the worn universal joints were
Man, the stuff you get up to is awesome- it's gotta but so much fun doing what you folks do!
The effort you guys put into each video, really amazing! and so creative!
Holy crap the amount of work you guy make on every video !
I have viking blood and there's nothing I cannot fix because no matter what I am always motivated by madness like this engineering. Never give up!
That is actually hilarious. One of the best you've done
Toughest roof I've ever seen. Holding all that framework and torque without ripping is impressive.
I was waiting for it to snap off and whip around.
tbf it is a lada, makes about as much torque as my lawn mower
I just checked ebay, all Lada driveshafts tripled in price!
As a welder, tinkerer and imaginative guy this would be my dream job 😂 just spend all day building something just because you wanna see what will happen. I love it
This made me smile the whole time.
keep up the amazing work

You could leave these guys loose in a scrap yard and a week later they'd have a few dozen fully running cars back on the road.
Yes and most scrap cars are not that bad most people give up on them
Or cars that'll look absolutely normal until you drive them. Like it's front driven but steering is done at the back wheels.
No Lada's were actually harmed or destroyed in making this video! 😂
That was one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time. I love it so much :)
Painting the shaft looks way cool when it is in operation
This is what my mind comes up with when I am about to sleep. Great this channels brings the experiments to life.
Can you make a Lada ride on two in-line fat tires like a motorcycle that includes heavy enough swinging counterweights that will allow it to go around corners and stay upright?
I thought these guys are running out of ideas after this many years…nope! Keep it up!
LMAO them grenading one after another was gold
0:34 subtle forshadowing 😂
Whoever comes up with these mad ideas is a genius 🤣
Love the levels you take it then you go above and beyond
I love your 'just because we can' vids.
I has that same mentality and still walk this planet 👌
Hilarious! You guys have too much spare time, and thanks for that 😀
I like this this idea ! However, I would like to see this rather large accessory shaft perform some kind of work, in addition to it's primary function. Some suggestions : A butter churn, an ice cream maker, a musical instrument of some kind, a bubble machine, etc. 😄
the paint job was a perfect addition.
This is art
Crazy stuff you built! 👌😎👍👍👍
The Propshaft Centipede - what the world desperately needed, thank you!
great pranks with the neighbours :) great episode! greetings from a fan from vienna
That's just ridiculously brilliant lol 🤣🤣
You guys are the best. Keep it up
Wow, you guy have lots of Chevys, freakin cool.
On todays episode of “WHAT?! WHY?! HOW?!” These crazy guys do the unthinkable. Again. For like the 1000th time. Its incredible
It's a lada long shaft with a spinning lada mohawk, not your normal deth trap. That thing is awesome. It looks awesome and must have ben a pain to build
Next connect two cars with one propshaft with the car at the back being the drive wheels and the car in front for steering
That mid 90s honda accord is my legit dream build of a daily idk why but literally everything to a T is what I’d put on it ha
You could make a straight propshaft. A 15 meters Lada. A big limousine!!
How about making a car that drives upside down? I have absolutely no idea how you’d do that, but you guys make seemingly anything possible.
I love your crazy ideas
This is the most ridiculous thing car experiment and I absolutely love it
All ideas and all builds from you and your team are amazing, its the best what i love to see,i mean okay cars tuning and and and, alone your legend ideas are so nice to see,its a standalone. Thanks
And iam look this from germany, and i want to say the most germans are not hate russia,we love them!!!
I wish he was my neighbor. Coolest guy ever.
Looks like something Wil-E-Coyote would strap himself to go after roadrunner. I love your videos and enjoy the ridiculousness and absurdity of the ideas.
OMFG. This is probably the most cursed thing i've ever seen, AND I LOVE IT!!
seeing something soo unstable spinning soo fast was scaryer than any movie ive seen
I don’t know why but I find the white paint labelled “milk” funny
Here is an idea, connect two cars with one prophsaft. 🚗_🚗
Yes, remove the motor on the back car and go directly from the gearbox on the front to the shaft of the back...
You guys are CRAZY! And I love it. 🤣❤
If I had been a universal joint specialist and Vlad told me he had one uni knocking and making noise, I would of said it's perfect if it's just one out of the hundred on there!
This is the greatest thing ever.
Looks like eren Jaeger founder titan form
Puts new meaning to installing a drive shaft hoop
This might be the wackiest contraption I've seen for one of their car experiments. But still cool to see
👋😂👍👉❤️This Guy’s are always just full of surprises! That was just insane!👌😂👉Looks like something from a Madmax movie!
Much love from North Carolina. I can't wait for the next project.
Dynosaur Lada, amazing guys!!!
that is by far the most insane thing i've ever seen done to a car
This thing reminds me of a shay steam engine - awesome. You should try to do gear drive on the hubs like that!
Hilarious! I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere near that when one of those lets go tho!
"We're not the type of people to give up". Boy, isn't that the truth, LOL!
Yep.
The CV joint let go first..
As expected.
110% success!
Classic episode !!! You boys know fun....ty 🎯💥💥💥⚡⚡⚡
His neighbors must love seeing his antics xD
