As a Colts fan, I'm so tired of needing to "Get going."
We start off like garbage year after year. Even under Luck, we always had a mid-season switch where we'd suddenly be good. It often happens too late. It's exhausting.
Dont want JT in there every play? He ran the ball only 12x against the Packers and averaged almost 9 ypc.? Jacobs got the ball 32x. Can we pls give the ball to our best player a little more than 12x a game if the run is working?? Only 5 carries in the first half?
There’s just no excuse for the JT usage. The 3rd and 1 to start the 4th quarter… unacceptable. And he didn’t play at all the 4th quarter… unfathomable…

I don't care what Shane says, time of possession is HUGE...getting wrecked there gases your defense and makes it waaaay harder to get stops in the 4th Q when you need them the most
If you score in 2 minutes every other time you have the ball rather than having 12-15 play drives, it does not matter.. all that matters is you score. Sure, the defense may be tired, but the offense isn't on the field thinking, "we should run 10 plays this drive to give the defense a break." they are thinking about scoring.. in the NFL, a team is like business (it is a business). The offense is its own business, and the defense is its own business that comes together as one. They have separate game plans and separate goals, and the only point they intertwine is a win.

man, I just had a traumatic reaction to coach saying "all three phases." took me back to the dark days w/ Reich... those were DARK days, y'all. we gotta have perspective right now.
Steichen did great things last year with Gardner Minshew. We gotta trust the process.
AR5 is STILL the youngest quarterback in the league. We’re gonna watch great things happen this year as the season goes on.
Pagano used this phrase, prior to Reich of course.

When you have a guy who is regarded as one the best backs in the league you have him out there when the game is on the line. No excuses. That is bad coaching to not have your best guys on the field in the situations.
It’s unbelievable. And it’s not like JT was having a bad game. He had 100 yards in 3 quarters. He had 50 yards on the last drive he was in. A lot of people say Steichen is an offensive guru. Well he looks like a clown to me.
I would like to see some screen passes thrown. Let AR get in a rhythm

Gonna be a frustrating season. AR should take extra reps with Mitchell the guy is open majority of the time.
Mitchell can't catch a football, makes your theory tough. He needs downs back.

They need to start running the ball at least 25 carries a game to take pressure off of Richardson
Time of Possession with us is interesting because, we either do 3 & out or big shot play, and then obviously historically bad run defense.

Taylor should be in there more. 12x not that much. He should definitely be in in the 4th quarter. He’s the best player in the offense

@@deangulberry1876 it's exactly what screwed us out of the playoffs last year..relying on a backup QB to make a quick pass to a rookie on 4th & 1..game on the line. Paying JT $42 million to stand on the sidelines is beyond me I guess
this game will be tough for the colts. bears defense is looking good. and i think caleb is due for a breakout game. but we will see

Bears and Colts are two teams locked in a “development year” for their young QBs. Should be a low scoring game.
Asking 100 questions about AR when the real questions are the DL and Secondary on this roster and being able to stop the run
let's get JT going early please. make it easy on AR. schem up a few simple 1 read easy pass plays to get AR rolling early. but main thing, RUN THE BALL! more that 1 in a row, even more than 2 in a row. it's like if we run 2 times then we HAVE to throw the next 3, and then punt! jt busts off 2 15 yard runs back to back then we are passing the ball until we punt.

If your defense is abysmal why not lean on the running game. AR would have easier passing lanes if JT is allowed to eat up yards. Colts excited to have a shiny new toy with AR so they want him to throw a ton. Just RTDB and RPO off the play-action.

the smartest guy in the room bit is getting old. The results warrant more of an explanation. Hard questions aren't asked as much when you win. So start winning or start answering the hard questions. Colts media could be putting Steichen on the spot much more, and with a much more impatient disposition. If this was Philly they'd be hanging his likeness from street lamps.

Guys remember Manning started 3-13 his fi at season. And he played all his games in college... AR is the youngest QB in the he league..... Give him time!

Well the run defense was historically bad WITH him. We technically can’t get any worse.

I think it will be a offensive shootout this Sunday. Caleb Williams breaks out. The winner? Hopefully the colts lol. Let's be a little bit more patient with AR5. He has only played 5 to 6 games. That defense i don't have much faith in

Can someone ask Coach Steichen why he keeps taking JT out the game? He had 12 touches over 100 yards then you take him out the game. JT needs more touches and stop taking him out for big 3rd downs and short. You have JT there’s no reason to force AR to make reads, and perfect throws all the time. We don’t have a #1 WR that’s getting open regularly. Gus Bradley has to go this unit has regressed tremendously!
This is a pattern now of Steichen taking JT off the field on big plays lte in the game. He’s just not a good coach.
@@deangulberry1876 yeah I’m starting to think he’s incapable of winning games the traditional way. Run the ball down their throats, take the opponents will. Both teams did it to us but he lets other teams off the hook. I think he gets bored wants AR to be his muse for throwing all over the field scoring. Newsflash Colts are built to RTDB, our WR core doesn’t regularly get open or catch the ball!

This feels like a losing season the offense seem like they don’t know what they are doing and the defense inability to stop the run game I’ve been a colts fan for over 30 years so I’m hoping I’m wrong but only time will tell.

*There are no participation awards in the NFL* on critical plays, the game plan shouldn't be to wait to bring in JT and convert on 4th. What a joke justification - Admit your errors, put your best players in the game in critical moments. Dont get cute

Sadly, the Colts will be a bottom barrel team. No defense whatsoever, and a developing QB....the RB is deemed worthless by virtue of the Colts having to play from behind by double digits every week. They cannot get to 3rd and short/medium. It is usually 3rd and 7 or more. not a recipe to win.
