Chad Smith is my favourite drummer. His kits are blast. Can't believe his age is mid 60 years old. His energy is the same like 30 years old. John Fruscinate is incredible guitarist the solo of Dani California is awesome.
I think what makes these guys so much deeper than your average viewer sees is people think of Anthony and flea when they think peppers, but when you dig deeper you discover a POWERFUL Trio + a talented lyricist. Chili peppers songs are like good movies, they show, instead of telling you. 100% read between the lines. Tony gets dismissed a ridiculous amount, he writes savage poetry.
@@lofo7703 it’s such a tasteful solo tho. Same with like Scar Tissue. I vibe hard af to all three little solos in that one. A song like can’t stop has such a simple solo that it’d be cool to improvise instead.
Let's be honest: Anthony's voice isn't what it used to be, and several of his most previous performances show it. That being said, HOLY CRAP! He was on in this one, what a great rendition!! And of course the other 3 carried the sound as per usual :) Awesome vid
Has anyone noticed John hasn’t played pretty much any of his solos the way he did on the recordings?? (I loved those original solos & was pretty bummed to see him live finally and not get them) :/ Regardless still a legend & glad he’s back in the band
lmao while everyone else said he has one of the best guitar tone but for real I never see someone said he has the worst guitar tone before this blow my mind hahahah
Chad is so inspiring man, gets better somehow every fucking year. his kit sounds incredible
He legitimately had gotten better and better. not just different.
He was the last to get sober around 09 and he just exploded after that

Chad just turned 60, lol.
John just absolutely rips it another level at 5:22
still kicking ass after like 40 years!

When John plays like this, he's next level.
I personally wish he would play something alittle closer to the studio version. I get he likes to spice it up but did that really sound better?
@@SilkandScrooge yes, it's improvisation, really pouring oneself into it in stead of being a glorified studio track
@@Markmix123 I guess. Just love the studio version. Pretty epic solo.
@@SilkandScrooge I'd ve happy with that too, I don't disagree with you. I think though, John would find that boring.

the final fast notes of johns solo are best played ever. Jesus, holy shit :o
I don’t know how to describe it exactly, but John’s playing IS California.
Fruiscante killing it on the solo as usual
Suka banget Sir Chad kalo main drum sambil senyum

They’re at their best ❤️ a healthy pepper is happy pepper 😂
Great drumming. The moment when he threw a drum stick up and catched it... That looked like he was born a drummer staight out of the mother's womb.
He just ate them for breakfast often
i thought flea back with his modulus bass, just awesome audio quality i guess. Thank you for uploading!
It's funny, he went from playing Modulus and GK to play Fender and Ampeg and still pretty much sounds like himself.
Porque nadie habla de este gran bajista que es flea!!!! Para mi es el mejor de los 4
full full full full!!!
For now, check this th-cam.com/video/8bA7er1ngfM/w-d-xo.html

am i the only one who can barely hear the guitar
John's chorus doesn't have the power it once had, but his guitar is like a hermit's.
drums sound like a cardboard box.
Tom Petty's Mary Jane’s Last Dance.

You new to the party? John always changes it up. It’s what makes him one of the best.
Well, better later than never as they say.
@@FFmybest Guess so :)
Been that way since 89, my friend.
Very rare to hear a studio solo live
Worst guitar tone in music
And what is the best?
Sure, Jan.
Ha ha ha ha
