YOU FOOL! Oh man, this has to be the absolute funniest episode of Hollywood Squares. Each time that particular phrase is said, I couldn't help but laugh.
There's actually a bit of context behind that one. If I recall correctly, in a February 1999 episode Gilbert kept on saying "IN MY PANTS!" to the point where even Whoopi made a reference to it.
This was one of the funniest game show episodes in TV history. It showed why Gilbert Gottfried was one of the keys to the success of this version of Hollywood Squares. He was very funny, especially when he shouted "YOU FOOL!" every time a contestant made an incorrect judgement. Tom Bergeron handled the hysteria very well.

There were not 1 but 2 easy questions, the one about Stone Cold and the one about travelling the world. Even then I knew about the whole "Around the world in 80 days" bit. The camera shots at 2:57 of Gilbert and Penn screaming "YOU FOOL!!!" at David were EPIC. LOL. And host Tom Bergeron also saying "YOU FOOL!!" to David too?! That definitely put more salt into the wound. That's really gotta hurt when the host joins in on the "YOU FOOL" bash.
I have to believe, every time these two contestants have heard the words "You fool" after this, they started having basically 'Nam flashbacks to this event. XD
That was EPIC with a capital "E" Bay-Bee! 9 incorrect Agree/Disagree answers and Gilbert Godfried killing it with those two simple words... YOU FOOL! God I loved it! I can't wait to watch it again!
In the reaction after the Chicago Cubs question, you can hear Gilbert laughing up a storm. That laugh of his would have made him a great candidate to play the Joker in a Batman series. God Bless you, Gilbert Gottfried. Rest in peace!

I love how Penn said "You Fool" the first time but Gilbert made it so much funnier, so Penn keeps trying to say it because he came up with it first..Can't stand Penn and Teller some times.
