I just finished watching a Joan Rivers show episode & Gene mentioned the funniest thing he ever said was the nipple comment!! This was a blast!! Thanks for the laughs & and memories, everyone! Thanks for showing this, too!! 😅
Uncensored …I love it!!!! People didn’t get bent out of shape by words the way our weak society does now …NOBODY got offended…and THAT is a healthy society 👍
Aged like milk then turned into fine wine 😂😂😂 Wouldn't have been okay to say 20yrs ago, but I'm totally cool with it now, and those two are closeted gay icons 😂😂
Sadly, the "nipples" wasn't aired. They just re-recorded his greeting. But he was careful to pronounce "dimples". 🙃 I LOVED this show! The burnt orange set, the fashions, sadly watching the many celebrities who have since passed away. It was like attending your parents cocktail party.
In 2020: Some people are figuring out the Covid Vaccine Some people are figuring out the racial issues of this country Some people are figuring out who the winner of the 2020 election will be Some people are trying to figure out the philosophical significance of "figuring things" out Me: Still trying to figure out Marge's family situation.
The nipple slip was a classic, it was too funny. Gene Rayburn was the best tv game show host ever, but he would've been cancelled if he said that today.
I don't think it would have been canceled, but they would have bleeped it out or edited it. Same with the woman who showed the world her undies, they probably would have pixelated it.
Seriously, the "school riot" bugged the heck out of me, because it went on for too long. They SHOULD have matched it, though, because their reasoning is the STUPIDEST reasoning I've ever heard!
Please, if anything truly untoward actually happened on that show Betty White and Fannie Flagg would've wanted nothing to do with it! I'm very "woke" but I completely recognize that this was all just harmless fun and Gene Rayburn was in fact devoted to his wife and family, so stop making innocent things so unseemly!
Gene said “I wouldn’t say that” while glancing at her chest

Holy geez, what were Gene Rayburn and these 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 on on Match Game? I mean you got Betty White doing her rendition of "Ravishing" Rick Rude, and Brett Somers was acting like a looney tune herself, and that lady had her panties shown on television. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The craziest ones tended to be ones that aired later in the week. The way it worked is that they taped five episodes in a day, with a dinner break after two or three of them. Dinner often came with alcohol, which could explain the panel's behaviour on some occasions.
Kukla, Fran and Ollie were from the CBS Saturday Children's Film Festival, Fran was the lady and Kukla and Ollie, the lady didn't understand her own answer.
It was on every afternoon in a lineup including the Our Gang shorts, Rocky & Bullwinkle & Gilligan's Island. My mom did turn off the tv a few times when it got too risqué though.
It's weird how a society that denies God and hates religion wants to moralize, browbeat, condemn, punish and demonize everyone who won't bow to their arbitrary moral code. Fucking moronic hypocrites.
Should have been called the "Brett and Charles" show because all they used to do was bring the show to a halt trying to get air time. Both were doing absolutely NOTHING except be on this show and see what totally ignorant comments and remarks they could make before FINALLY showing their answers.
“Let’s see if we can get a little milk from Patti”
“I beg your pardon”
😂
That's what you should ask Fannie Flagg...😂
I LOVED this show as a kid. My favorites were Richard Dawson and Charles Nelson Riley
Match Game in the 70s was a special kind of chaos
Indubidubly 🙂
I will forever love this show! Good years that I wish I lived in! There was trouble in those years, but at least people got along better than today!
I always watch this show when I need cheered up

I can't believe Betty White she was saucy and sassy back then lol
Match Game was one of my favorite shows. The dynamic between Brett and Charles was always fun.
All of the regular panelists and Rayburn made the show complete after Dawson left you saw a little change but non the less the show was hilarious
This show was greatness!!!😂😂😂😂
Wow, the 70’s did not give a damn
Goes to show how much television changed
@@TomCurtis-t2r And society!
@@mikehunt4986 For the worse, for sure.
Not on this show anyway bc they allowed drinking
I was a teenager in the 70's and I still don't give a damn 😆
Back when TV was cool.
Mr. Gene Rayburn was Funniest Game Show Host!
I agree with you 1000%,he was the BEST!!!!
I remember watching this show after school. It never gets old!
I love Match Game!! 😂
gene’s face at 1:23 is priceless
That face is a MOOD.
Legend has it the panel used to tie one (or three) on prior to filming the show.. That's why they're so crazy!
rondmc44 during the tapings it’s at each station
Some of the best bloopers seemed to come from the episodes taped after dinner on a given day. 😁
At 7:59 you can hear Gene say “That son of a bitch really hit me.”

Greatest and Funniest game-show of ALL-TIME!

Ahhh The 70's.... Anything went and nobody had a bird fit 😁👍🏻 Especially the sexual innuendos 😝
Richard dawson is a savage, that would not survive in the modern era. Lol I love this show
Definitely .
He was a creep an a serious pervert !!

A GREAT era, a GREAT time, and GREAT show! Most importantly AWESOME memories
I really love 'bar mitzvah' respond ..lol!
I want the episode with that question please.

well 'beheaded' and 'circumcised' would be the two best answers and circumcision is one of the traditions in a bar mitzvah so...

God, I miss that show.
Well what the heck happened with the "school" answers? Did the judges give him the votes or not?
Mary S. unfortunately no. Irma, the producer, said they were too specific. I would've give them to him!
I believe he was invited back on a later show.

It was their job to be outrageous and amusing, and they did it very well.
