Mk11 finishers actually relate to the specific character.
They do an amazing job making each one feel unique! Gotta give the devs credit for that in MK11.
In every other Mk game,a character has a fatality that has nothing to do with that character

I agree with that statement
Fatalities in MK9/x/11 are really more creative than fatalities from previous games (with some exceptions, spine rip, toasty, and some of deceptions and deadly alliances are fuckin classics.) But In previous games 90% of fatalities were just basic "Rip/chop/tear head off, throw weapon and decapitate, rip organ out, shatter with ice, burn with fire, explode with electricity." Kinda deals.
MK9/X/11 are sometimes guilty of this too, but for every "Knife to meet you." There's three "Mister cages neighborhoods."

The line is referenced multiple times in MK11, so the writers would agree with you on that
The 3 heads fatality was not a glitch, it was a programed variation like the scorpion anywhere tosty fatality. It was executed by holding a button combo after the regular input like the Deadpool stage fatality in this case LP+LK+BLOCK. The "frozen" Deadpool stage fatality with subzero was a glitch.

I always loved how it looked like you were punching the blood bubble when you did the MKII Triple decapitation!
totally agree on the ridiculous explosions and overuse of decapitations in MK 3 and Ultimate! (Not to mention the utterly ridiculous amounts of limbs, bones, and body parts that came off of one body when you performed Fatalities!)
Yeah, I always loved the bubble of blood that pops off the head from MK2's deadly uppercut.
After revisiting MK3, so many finishers have too many explosive finishers. Here's 18 skulls and 32 ribcages for each explosion!

Once again heads have rolled due to your amazing work on these videos. I think your list is solid and I agree with your number one pick. I think it's a shame everyone can do the deadly uppercut fatality in mortal kombat 11 as a brutality. I personally would have put the first decapitation uppercut from Mortal Kombat a little higher because it has such an impact. Having said that, I may be looking at this with rose tinted sunglasses as it was the first fatality I ever performed.

mk11 really did Johnny Justice, wholeheartedly agree with both of them being at the top 2 spots
It was so hard to decide which finisher to put at #1 and #2, that's how awesome they both are.

For the MK2 multi-head trick, it has nothing to do with repeating the inputs. You do it once and then hold specific buttons (I forget which though).
Thanks for the pointer. I always did the input again and it worked. Maybe I just pressed one of the right buttons to make it work.
You hold down LP LK block to get three heads, its mk1 were the glitch is on certain characters if you input the fatalities, or any other move fast enough enough, the fatality will be followed up with said move lol. Sorry, big Johnny Cage fan here

@@the_NNPW You can also, in some revisions, nut punch the male opponents after doing the deadly uppercut. I used to do it as fast as I could to whiff it at Sonya, to score a Fatality without harming her.

The original multiple head glitch is from MK1 and there it was definitely unintentional, the fatality sound triggered multiple times and everything. I am pretty sure that it was intentionally reproduced in MK2.
It was a glitch in MK1, I do know that. The sources I read also stated it was a glitch in MK2, but I feel the team had fun with it and still included it.

Thank God my first MK experience was in the new timeline because those games turn Johnny Cage to a Hollywood A-hole turn into a comedic,lovable A-hole,and family man which is good character growth,I completely agree with this racked video,especially number one because for a strange reason,everytime Johnny appears in a new MK game,his Fatalities become better and funnier,plus all of the jokes and pop culture references were a well put idea(like how didn't I see the reference of the Other Guys in number two,that was brilliant and make the fatality even better),all in all putting Sonya next is a good idea and I think there's a pattern in this and how comes after her.

Johnny cage was the worst of the original cast in the midway timeline
The triple uppercut in MKII wasn't really a glitch, it was on purpose, refferencing the first game where an actual glitch allowed you to do Cage's fatality twice if you did it fast enough. So, just like how they amped up everything for the sequel, they decided to remake the glitch so it not only can be done twice, but three times.
Which is it first you said it's not a glitch and at the end you say it's a glitch

Solid list! I’m a huge MK & Johnny Cage nerd, so loved to see all the fatalities ranked. However, his other MK Trilogy fatality was excluded (it was an N64 exclusive, where he shadow kicks the torso off). It’s a shit finisher, but I found it weird that the body breaker fatality was a PSX exclusive.
Whoops. I haven’t even heard of the shadow kick one until now. I only knew about the body breaker one. Wonder why they made it exclusive?

You put the input on 3 times in the first game to make the glitch happen. In MK2, its a deliberate secret to make it work by doing the input once, then quickly hold D+LP+LK+BLK

I just realized that Johnny cages fatalities in mk11 are both references to his classic uppercut and torso rip fatalities. I mean the deadly uppercut is a clear reference.

If you perform it on Kratos, he doesn't use the Award.
Kratos also doesn't run in Ermac's shrinking fatality, he just stares up at him.
Kratos tries to reach and grab Freddy right before he closes the door. He also doesn't panic.

The 3 head glitch is #1 hands down. You had to be there when MK2 came out to really understand. The glitch played into the lore of secrets hidden in the game. Seeing that happen for the 1st time by someone who knew the secret was completely mind blowing.

I JUST noticed that you missed ONE fatality... that's exclusive from the N64 version of MKT, as you only showed the shared fatality (the lackluster classic uppercut) and the CD-ROM versions exclusive one, is kind of goofy if you ask me by the way, with that how you switch the positions of his fatalities?
That last fatality does make me wonder....what happened to the opponent in Takes 3-18? Did Johnny just keep missing? XD

so... random question. Why do the Armageddon fatalities not count in your lists?
It’s something mentioned in the Scorpion ranking. Since Armageddon has the Kreate-A-Fatality feature, no finishers are character unique. So those won’t be included for that reason.

I could simply say you missed one (the Shadow Kick fatality from the N64 version of Trilogy), but it would probably be ranked very low for the same reason the game's version of Deadly Uppercut was.

Does it usually take a long time to edit your videos?
It takes a lot of time to write the script, capture to footage and record the stuff. On top of working remote and doing a lot for family, these take a lot of time-but I enjoy making these for you all!
