I own the s-works SL7 tarmac, cervelo caledonia 5, and the new trek madone SLR gen7..you're right, the tarmac is quick but the madone is faster and holds speeds better.. out of all aero bikes(cervelo S5, cannondale system six, aeroad CFR, trek madone, etc) the madone was quick, light and the most comfortable out of them all..once you get up to 18-20mph the bike just wants to go and go..especially on flats.. i got my madone down to 16.2lbs( tpu inner tubes, FSA K force team crank, GP5000 tires, light carbon 50mm wheels, etc)...i replaced the bontrager aeolus rsl wheels..lol
Sounds like someone is waffling 🤷🏼♂️

Great review! I am getting my Madone SLR 9 AXS Gen 7 end of this month! It was on sale and looks better than new Madone I am hearing about.
I own several Trek bikes; I desire the 'SL' version of this current model; I still ride my 2013 Madden 5.2.
Bart himself will be owning the SL version of this bike . He would love the SLR bit owning a bike shop just cant afford one this year
I’m going to buy a SL version can’t afford 😂the SLR
Wat do you really mean tho ?
What’s the price of the Bike
