Great video. I could've sworn I just recently saw a video in which multiple women said _no_ guy should _ever_ wear shorts. I agree that the shorts you recommended in this video look reasonably stylish; it's just frustrating that different women seem to have such different (and very strong) opinions of what men "must _NEVER_ wear". Women can pretty much wear anything (shorts, sandals, etc.), but different women have very strong opinions that men should never wear A, B, or C, and most of the warm-weather attire like shorts and sandals are usually considered never acceptable by at least a portion of the population. I recently lamented on another video that hot weather is often an obstacle to dressing stylishly. I'm glad to see shorts given your approval in this video, but I feel like there are women out there who would definitely judge me for wearing shorts. Guess I just gotta do what's comfortable and not worry about trying to please everybody, although I don't recall if you consider _all_ sandals to be forbidden, or just certain styles like flip flops and slides. I wonder to what extent local regional culture (e.g., I live in SoCal) impact what's considered acceptable and not.
When it's hot I wear shorts too. I pair it with white sneakers though, which imo is more stylish than sandals or flip flops. And white sneakers don't catch much heat, because they're white :)
@@remko4112 White sneakers are definitely more stylish and might not catch as much heat, but they're undoubtedly still warmer than just wearing sandals, especially considering you've got to pair them with socks. Oh well, it's a small sacrifice to make in the grand scheme of things.
