Will Kennedy is a beast. So much power and groove, but with such attention to dynamics and what the other players are doing. One of the modern unsung heroes of the drum kit in my opinion. I first heard him playing with steel pan player Andy Narell back in the eighties, and since then, he has been steadily amazing me.
An All-Star band and a fantastic concert that sounds great!!! Patrice is a world-class musician, Melvin Lee Davis is a phenomenal bassist with impeccable tone and Will is one of the most skilled drummers in the business!!! The legendary Lee Ritenour chooses only the best musicians as his bandmates!!!
It’s hard to picture Rit picking Lars Ulrich for his concerts(or albums for that matter) and that’s no diss against Lars. He’s good for Metallica. But it certainly would be “interesting” to hear him play with someone like Lee Ritenour
@@caprise-music6722 Most if not all of the musicians in Lee's orbit are amazing musicians who can read and improvise. I don't know anything about Lars' musical background and training so I have no idea whether or not he could do that gig.
I've seen Rit a couple times, always great show. Saw this lineup minus Patrice, had Dave on piano, wish I could have seen Patrice one time she kicks butt.

I Love Lee‘s playing. He is able to so many different Sounds. He really is one of the best Guitar Players.
