I had a left side stroke in 2021 and it left me with bad vision. I have finally found a video that I can show to my eye doctor what I experience. When I close my right eye and look out my left there are big black spots covering my field of view. Now my right eye is different. If your mouse pointer is on your screen right in front of you and you scroll to the right i lose total sight of the mouse if i don't try and follow it.

Last week this happened to me but it only lasted about 20 minutes. I was in hospital 3 days. I had Covid too. I was so fortunate that my ischemic stroke didn't do more damage. My paperwork shows that I suffered a Transient Homonymous Hemianopsia. I lost vision on my right hemisphere. Thanks for explaining what happened so well.

I've got some special prism glasses I got from mass eye and ear up in Boston. I guess ya they give me 20-25% more vision but can't really wear them they are so hard to get used to!

I have had 2 episodes of hemianopia? One lasted 20minutes and one lasted 10minutes. I had no symptoms other than the vision loss in the right field of both eyes. What could be the possible cause. Surely this wouldn't be a stroke. Having an MRI next week.
