As someone who has NEVER played Payday 2, The idea of giving the ever silent Jacket a tape recorder with a WHOOOLE bunch of garbled dialogue just so he can talk in game is a stroke of genius, and I'll gladly accept it as canon for the main Hotline Miami story. And your cosplay is amazing! I have always been inspired by building props and such, and this is no exception!

Sounds can be loaded onto the internal storage via USB and you can have multiple sounds on one trigger either played at random or in order. It's quite nifty and quite cheap. Newer version come with a stereo line out and an aux socket. Either way an amp should be used, which can be directly powered of the 5v bus of the board if it's powered using USB.

I've seen a couple cosplays with that same mask and I was wondering where you bought it from. Question 2: Where did you get the gun; and if you made it, what airsoft gun did you use? Mask was bought from a local costume shop and heavily modified. Gun is a repainted replica Mac 11. And as for the tape recorder, tutorials/schematics will not be made, sorry.
I noticed that too. Jacket's hand wrappings are done the same way boxing tape typically is, with tape looping between the fingers and over the back of the thumb. It's a minor detail that the vast majority of people won't notice, however.
