Intention : breathe and enjoy I love how this practice makes me feel awesome after doing it, with relaxed and peaceful mood I can enjoy the day and stay focused on what matters most. Thank you Adriene 🤗😘 See you tomorrow beautiful souls 💚😘🤗 Namaste 🙏
As someone who suffers from anxiety and a continual struggle with worrying about what others think, this pose is such a strengthening boost that helps me with that battle. It teaches me to laugh at myself, (preferably not while in the pose!) and never to take myself too seriously. I have a sore throat this morning too, so it was a go-to for me for that as well! Thank you Adriene for such a valuable class!
I wanted to share. I was watching this and practicing this and I looked down after and noticed my kitten was doing it too! It melted my heart. He was ADORABLE with his little mouth wide open and tongue hanging out!! He was sitting so it even looked like he was in the pose! Houdini does breath work lol
I love how you give thoughtful options for people with varying ranges of physical ability, your consideration for sharing the benefits of yoga practice with all is really great to see.

Of all the 'breaths' we do in yoga, I find Lions Breath is the best one for when I am trying to push further in a stretch - it helps release the tension I have holding me back from getting deeper in the stretch. I love this!!
when I first started practicing Lions Breath I felt silly and selfconcious, even tho I was still doing by myself. Now I find it enjoying, relaxing and actually a little freeing... Thank you Adriene
Beautiful Video Adriene. Thank you for demonstrating this pose with so much grace. So respectful to the practice of Yoga. This has been a pose I haven't practiced yet, but I will certainly begin.
10.10 🧘🏿♂️ Tenth day of PLAY! Lion's breath felt freeing! I just lived in the moment and didn't really care about what I looked like. I feel more confident ^_^
This is actually the first video I've seen from this channel and I'm all here for it! Your voice is actually amazing, it's so soothing and calming and reminds me a lot of the actress Alicia Vikander, I love her voice as well! But yeah you've got a new subscriber and I look forward to watching more of your videos! You are awesome Adriene!
This asana is perfect for me since I struggle with vocalizing my opinions and are afraid of what people think of me. Thanks a million, Adriene! 🤗Imma go look for crystals related to these problems as well to add a nice little boost to them before I socialize. 🦁😊
Thanks so much! I am in yoga teacher right now, and our professor showed us lion's breath...which I thought I was familiar with, but...she had the classes practically yelling "ahhhhhh!". I knew it was more like this. It's such a lovely way to get centered.
Adriene - I have been doing lion roaring (Sinhasana) for many years but I have learned these new techniques from you today. Really helpful. Thank You very much. I can see why your face is glowing so much. It is all about doing it perfectly.
I wasn't planning on doing this, in order to save time. But then I just felt like 10 min more couldn't set me that much behind. The deep breathing felt really good :)
PLAY 🪁 | October 10, 2022 | Here for Part 2 of our Play Day 10 practice. Lion's Breath is one of my favourites because like Adriene mentioned it allows us to embrace the power and grace of the lion 🦁 while shaking off what others might think! Walking off the mat feeling more confident and centered in my power. 🙏

So im kinda introverted amd low confidence. This pose i liked a lot more than i thought as it gave me freedom to let go and be a little silly with my face in ways i don't normally (im not very expressive). I feel surprising confident at the moment and full of energy. Thank you for this! I thought it would be a quick video to go through but again, another solid solid practice today. Thank you so much!
Great stuff (as always Adriene) - BUT this video also had me Roaring (get it!) with laughter! Grrrrr, I must admit when I practiced this my cat gave me some very strange looks! Cheers Dave

Found this and taco breath when I was too stuffed up to do my usual stress buster, alternate nostril breathing. Since I grind my teeth at night and my airway closes this one seemed useful for just before bed. I'm surprisingly calm and hoping for a quality night's sleep (if the dog & kids cooperate). Namaste.
It is a wonderful demonstration Adrienne. This breathing technique is more helpful in overcoming stress and negativity than victory breath which is one of the essential breathing technique in Yoga. Thank you for sharing it :)
