I absolutely adore this game, I bought it in 2013 and I wasn't able to play it since I didn't have a PC, I'm going to be starting a series soon and I'm crossing my fingers for the update!
I know you're taking your channel in a new direction which is less about messing around with your friends and more about helping people with information about games (like lore bite), but when cube world is fully released, are you going to be playing on your channel with others or just releasing things like lore explanation and tips for gameplay? Personally I'd like to see a mix of both but it's up to you on how you want to continue with your content but how do you plan on releasing cube world content?
there are 3 updates which I would want now . . . 1. Level scale ~ you could be level 100 and I level 1 and we both could play anywhere together 2. Smaller map areas, it takes far to long to travel from area to another in my opinion 3. Quest :D Quest give you another way of leveling, but quest do not have to be "kill 10 enemies" but can be "Save me!"

You can get the alpha online still, just it doesn't come with the updates he is posting. Its very basic, with the only thing really keeping any replayability is just exploring the different regions. The quests are extremely lacking, more so then any mmo for example. Though the weapon costumization was kinda cool, with being able to add blocks to your sword and kinda shape it to what you want.
are you planning on making another project around Cube World? like your hang gliding race or your iron man marathon? and if so will you be bringing your friends that have the game as well or keeping a solo gameplay?

One theory that I think has a decent amount of reason behind it, is that the game was supposed to be a simple indie with a small following, but it exploded out of control. So now they are trying to lower the hype train (not the player base) so that the update doesn't seem disappointing. And I think after the recent release of a certain space exploration game, we all know how bad hype can get...
I miss this game, my brother and sister used to play it when we were taking a break from minecraft and diablo. I really dont understand why on Earth they wouldnt hire anyone else. as the creators they would have full control, there is no point in not hiring people to at least help

mhm actually Wolfram is like Mura for Berserk he takes one howl year to make one tome because he remakes he's designs everytime until he is fully satisfied and convinced that it is perfect. On that aspect they are pretty similar.

I mean, they are working on it for themselves but it really would be nice to get the source code from the current (3 year old) version so we can maybe try our hands at it too. Maybe their version has changed so much that it wouldn't be compatible with what we do but modifying it ourselves beyond hex editor would be really nice. Just share the passion!
I can get behind this reason. It's sort of like the situation with Yandere Sim. He, as the only person working on the game, can't be bothered to baby someone until they know exactly what to do, can't risk getting PR that may reveal or reply to questions with wrong info, etc.

Honestly, if they were going to say "i dont want to show it until it is finished" then, why tease it's coming outside of commercials? i am one of those people that like to be with a game from the beggining, and unfortunatly the only way to do that is through early access. it is physically impossible to enjoy a game's brand new "freshness" without seeing it when it is incomplete. minecraft is a perfect example, *NOT SAYING THAT CUBEWORLD IS MC OR VICE VERSA. THIS IS MEERLY AN EXAMPLE* see, in mc. the early versions have this kind of "Vast emptiness" that is actually kind of fun! and then you get your mind blown later on by updates. "WHOA SHULKER BOXES WHAT CAN I DO WITH THOSE" and "PISTONS CAN MOVE THINGS OMG" think about it... how would you react if you played cube world before it had a glider? and then all of a sudden it comes into play and suddenly, you can fly! it would be _Beautiful_. and that is a feeling that can only be achiveed through early access.. dont get me wrong, if wol wants to release the full game first, that is fine. but imo, he shouldnt have shown it as early as he did.
I dont think, he has seen cube world as that what it is now, when he released it. He would have probavly never expected so many people to play and support the game. And to be honest, even the alpha version was good. So if you like the "early access feeling" then you may be surprised by the new updates. It will be almost like a sequel to the CW we know today.

This pissed me off. Back when it came out, I wasn't an adult at the time so I didn't have my own credit or debit card at the time and my parent's wouldn't let me buy it with their money. As soon as I'm old enough, it's suddenly gone. This was one of those games I was constantly stalking because it always interested me. It was always that game that was minecraft, that wasn't minecraft. Fml. This is turning out to be another HL3 deal where the devs probably aren't going to release the full version at this point because they fear it won't be worth the wait and will only disappoint.
how is this similar to hl3? hl3 wont even go to dev cause they cant live up to the expectation of hf2. if hf3 is rated like 9/10 itll still be a let down because hl2 was "innovative" and "the best game of its time". cube wolrd was just under staffed and had stupid devs that didnt think anything through
..two/three years for him to finally realise that we need information so we stop at least trying to get to the guy for various reasons and get angry about how he 'ran with the money' so we can see he is actively working on it and the like @_@ Finally. I admit I actually had forgotten about this game *again* because the darn thing has been having so few updates, and the hate for "OMG where did you go why did you run with our money." anger finally simmered down to the point I had forgotten about it..... So at least it's good to see it's not dead, and that he finally started to realize "Oh...I probably should help our PR...."
Despite it not being business centered game developed, it's still his responsibility to keep the life of the game going for those few who have bought it, at the very least have a more open dialogue
I think we need to get this onto console I recon it would sell quite well and it helps the people who can't afford a good pc let's see if we can raise this to get it into consideration
