I only made it halfway through this until I couldn't take anymore of the monotonous AI voice. Great car though. That's why I started watching it in the first place
While repetitive, I found your production informative. However, you left out one of the most innovative features found in any car of its time. The Sure Track brake system. This system was a precursor to today's antilock brake systems. Found only on the back brakes, the system pumped the brakes automatically under panic stop situations. And was standard on all mark four models for the 1972 model year.
That was the only advanced feature on the car & Imperial had already come out with it years before & it was on the Mark III also. And a Mark IV with fender skirts ???? 😂😂😂😂
@chuckpeterson3262 The Mark IV didn't come with fender skirts. That was something that buyer ordered from a aftermarket company. Lincoln didn't even offer it as an option. Maybe a dealer add on but that was hideous. I saw that exact car come up for sale with those skirts. What a joke 😅
Ford decided to cut costs and the interior is far inferior to the Mark III which had real walnut inlays in the dash and doors, brake monitoring lights, more gauges and just a higher quality leather interior. The plastic dash really sucked.
I don't know... I see this car and it's a pimp's car. The overdose in "luxury" went wrong with this one and ended up being kind of vulgar. I'm aware it's a classic, and an expensive one, but it's a car not meant for your average joe.

It was a fine car. You needed a big garage to fit this luxury boat. Lincoln was delightful. Mark IV brought it to a pinnacle.

THAT, and the overuse of the word "iconic".

How could you possibly say this is informative???? You're joking right?
This is all AI BS

Bad AI narration, which says nothing and keeps repeating itself. I like the visuals, though.
