I bought a 74 Cougar as a winter car when i was 19 from the original owner. I could not find the Horn for days !! Until i squeezed the steering wheel ! That car is amazing ! Well worth it if you ask me. I'm a paint & body guy for 30 yrs. That car is mint. Time Capsule. Only original once !
One doesn't know what a smooth ride is until you ride in a late 60's-mid 70s Lincoln. Nothing rides like these cars! I laugh when people say Lexus rides SOooooooo smooth LOLOL um ok .......
Nice car ! I tend to prefer the 1973's model rear lights (they are integrated in the rear bumper). However the fuel trap on the 74's side is a plus as compared to the 73's (it's hidden behind the rear licence plate, a real hassle to fill up)
I agree! I was going to post that but you beat me too it. Of all the like 25-30 colors offered that year why stocking beige? But I do love the Marks. I own a 1970 Mark lll and a 1997 Mark Vlll LSC Love both
My dad owed a dark tan 1974, his favorite car he ever purchased …

@@rocksolidmotorsports thank you! Went to your site, but not sure where to find the prices. I'll have to look again!
Love the MK IV - but that color is ugh. Best wishes for the next owner.

@@jakereal3604 I love the last two years of the MK VIII - especially the LSC. Long time fan of the MK III. Earth tones and beige were big in 1974.
THAT things older than me
