I’ve actually heard about this scene that Blaine was having an anxiety attack. Not to be confused with a panic attack. He was fine in the beginning but when everyone shushed him, he sort of panicked thinking that his friends and loved ones were mad at him so he didn’t wanna talk. He was afraid to talk. Not only because he didn’t wanna make them mad but also because he didn’t wanna be the reason they died. It’s actually really powerful especially because anxiety attacks are so subtle so Darren really portrayed it well.

When watching these scenes, all I could imagine was Rachel, Kurt, and Santana's face. Rachel and Kurt would be blatantly shocked, and Santana would be halfway to Ohio.
Does anyone notice how Brittany suddenly speeds up when a swat team member approaches them cause they think it’s the killer, like she didn’t even look back, that split moment of just pure panic and fear is what makes this scene so realistic and scary

I had a 5 hour lock down 2nd semester of my freshman year but it was someone who had gone on campus with a weapon and everyone in my class was just fooling around and on Netflix and I was trying not to get an anxiety attack. Seeing the swat officers brought me so much relief. Even though nothing happened it was such a scary situation. I can't imagine what it's like for those who have experienced an actual school shooting

Freshmen year I was older then classmates November birthday and had to repeat kindergarten I refused to read witch book so first one wouldn't pass me. We had drills because of 9/11 so many drills and nothing ever happened. I graduated in 05 at 19.
i live in england but two men came into my school with a knife and we had only one lockdown practice about a month before and we didn’t really take it seriously and the men pulled the fire alarm and it overrides the lockdown alarm so it was just a mess

That SWAT officer made me flinch I swear... I thought this scene was gonna go from bad to worse... Will going out to save Brittany and the other students was so amazing 😭 Truly one of the best episodes in Glee..
I always hated that they all got up when a swat guy yelled “all clear”. You should NEVER assume that everything is fine bc you heard someone yell that. Shooters can yell that too. Other than that, I thought this episode was obviously emotion, important, and very well executed
Apparently, in the original, they were gonna have Brittany killed during this episode because Heather was pregnant and they needed a reason for her to leave the show but, thankfully, they decided to change it and go with the her being a genius storyline instead.
Blaine and Artie are both good friends with Tina yes they where worried but stayed pretty calm. Unlike Sam who flipped out because Brittany wasn't there. Try to catch what Artie did when Blaine said Tina wasn't there either it's quick.
I cried so much at the end when they all were hugging cause it was such a sentimental scene. They all hugged and were safe now and survived but all that and the music made me happy but sad at the same time if you know what I mean. I really loved Marley, Sam, Brittany, Blaine, and Tina’s acting throughout the whole episode because the way they all were so scared and each showed that the way they did in there own ways was so amazing, it was sad but so amazing! I really would’ve liked to see Rachel and Kurt’s reaction. Definitely Santana’s because she would’ve thrown a huge rage fit if she knew Brittany was all alone! She wouldn’t have stopped for nothing until she knew Brittany was safe. I feel like Finn would’ve shoved somebody out of the way just to get to Rachel if they were there.
This whole episode is emotional for me. My senior year of high school, I went through a school shooting and I have a relative with Downs. So it all scares me and it is so relatable
A friend who studies in US once told me that in her school they have to do shooting simulacrum, I was shock, I mean in my country we used to do earthquake simulacrums but that is one thing soo different. He finally trusted a girl and was so worried about being able to speak with her in what he thinks may be the last time he will ever get the chance to just to find out that it wasn’t actually anyone new, it was someone in the club who he thinks is just messing with him... 🥺😔

I don’t know why they got so much shit for this premise. Glee was a super popular show and school shootings weren’t shown as severely as they should have been in anything before on a televised narrative like this (or after, AHS sort of romanticised it). The only reason they got heat for it was because people want to ignore these issues so they don’t have to invest emotionally, but this episode make you confront what it could be like to be a victim in this situation and it’s fucking scary

In this situation the words “all clear” must mean so much to people. I’ve never been in a situation like this but I can only begin to imagine how it feels when things are all safe.
I think from a standpoint this entire incident brought the Glee club closer together as a group. Granted they weren't perfect and they all had some social issues to work out, but after this episode they definitely were on the same page. It's a shame that in life certain disasters like this make you put things in perspective a lot better.
this is so scary, one time I was in something similar and I couldn't stop crying I was stuck in the gym and it was the worst experience of my life and the fact that the principal said it wasn't a drill over the intercom and told everyone to hide made it way more real. I loved this episode.
I'm watching this after the Parkland shooting in Florida and it hit me in the feels real hard! It's so sad that this is out life! Something needs to be done about gun control!
I remember when I was in middle school (which was right next to the highschool where my older brother went) and the highschool went in lockdown. When I found out I was freaking out because my older brother was there. When I found out why they were on lock down, it was a bomb threat. I was terrified. I was also worried about the middle school and why we weren’t on lockdown considering we were right next door. We were all fine and the person who threat the school was caught by the police, but it was super scary.
This scene was great but I hope Tina called Rachel, Kurt and Santana on the phone while the other members was inside the school or make a news about what happened to their school then Rachel, Kurt and Santana saw it and I really wonder what their reaction to it but I'm glad their safe
I've never been in a school shooting but my school has had 4 bomb threats while I was there and in middle school a prisoner escapee who was in for murder came onto my school grounds and they couldn't find him. We were on lockdown the entire day. Also when I was in elementary school an insane man from my neighborhood shot up the playground while I was there. We were on lockdown then too. Does that count as a school shooting?
I love it how mr Schue and Brittany brought the other cheerios and dude who was in the toilet back with them too. It shows that they care about everyone, not just other glee people like some people say.

I went through this it’s the most terrifying experience you can have as a young child I was only in the 5 grade when it happened and had my sister with me who I believe was in 1 grade at the time.
When i was younger and watched this it didn't hit me as it does now. Especially being in high school in America. It's terrifying, to say the least, i cried a lot while watching this.

In this situation the words “all clear” must mean so much to people. I’ve never been in a situation like this but I can only begin to imagine how it feels when things are all safe.

I think from a standpoint this entire incident brought the Glee club closer together as a group. Granted they weren't perfect and they all had some social issues to work out, but after this episode they definitely were on the same page. It's a shame that in life certain disasters like this make you put things in perspective a lot better.
What makes me more sad than the scene itself are the several comments saying they went through something similar 😣
this is so scary, one time I was in something similar and I couldn't stop crying I was stuck in the gym and it was the worst experience of my life and the fact that the principal said it wasn't a drill over the intercom and told everyone to hide made it way more real. I loved this episode.

I remember when I was in middle school (which was right next to the highschool where my older brother went) and the highschool went in lockdown. When I found out I was freaking out because my older brother was there. When I found out why they were on lock down, it was a bomb threat. I was terrified. I was also worried about the middle school and why we weren’t on lockdown considering we were right next door. We were all fine and the person who threat the school was caught by the police, but it was super scary.
This scene was great but I hope Tina called Rachel, Kurt and Santana on the phone while the other members was inside the school or make a news about what happened to their school then Rachel, Kurt and Santana saw it and I really wonder what their reaction to it but I'm glad their safe
I've never been in a school shooting but my school has had 4 bomb threats while I was there and in middle school a prisoner escapee who was in for murder came onto my school grounds and they couldn't find him. We were on lockdown the entire day. Also when I was in elementary school an insane man from my neighborhood shot up the playground while I was there. We were on lockdown then too. Does that count as a school shooting?

I went through this it’s the most terrifying experience you can have as a young child I was only in the 5 grade when it happened and had my sister with me who I believe was in 1 grade at the time.
When i was younger and watched this it didn't hit me as it does now. Especially being in high school in America. It's terrifying, to say the least, i cried a lot while watching this.
