The part that breaks my heart is when she notices the footsteps stopped outside her stall. She goes backwards... like shes accepting shes gonna die. Then the relief when she hears "Brittany". I break down every time.
While Will is often either liked or hated, He is still a good teacher to where he tries to find his missing students when a possible shooter is lurking around. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
he was still stupid to not announce who he was though, surely he would have known that any students hiding in their would assume he is the shooter and be traumatised?
I feel like Tina was very underrated in this scene she only had like 20 seconds of screen time and you could understand the pain she feels with a lot of the people she loves in the school especially Artie this event and many more is why I like season 4 so much

I think the boy in the stalls is the same person we hear a couple of scenes earlier, desperately trying all the locked doors to the choir room and then running away down the corridor. He was looking for a place to hide and he ended up in the girls bathroom, where Brittany and the other girl were already hiding because they were both already in there when they heard the gunshots.
Ppl I think had the best acting: Sam: his panic was really realistic Britt: her facial expressions when schue entered the bathroom Tina: SUPER underrated, but her 15 seconds were amazing Blaine: the best damn on screen anxiety attack I’ve ever seen
I feel like they should have done more with Tina's scene. I wish she kept on arguing longer to go in and Figgins keeps telling her no while she's yelling and crying uncontrollably
Brittney absolutely broke my heart the most. Not to take away from anyone else’s fear or pain in this episode, but she’s so gullible and alone. When she heard Mr. Shu’s voice and went to hug him I just cried. ❤️😢
Yeah they followed this great episode up with them all acting silly in the next episode and then it’s like all the old glee kids just never find out and eventually it’s like it didn’t happen
right??? this woulda caused extreme ptsd and they probably would been scared for life but they literally never mentioned it again and it’s back to being silly and goofy the next episode
Heather Morris perfectly portrayed what could happen in the bathroom stall and her acting skills were tested here. The way she stopped breathing, stop moving and started silently crying before she found out it was Mr. Shue is what could happen in a bathroom stall during a school shooting. Not to mention the look on her face and the sigh of relief as she walked out of the stall and gave Mr. Shue a hug was incredible and pure talent😔👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I have a major paranoia about being killed, and the fact that it could happen in a somewhat safe place: school, I just freak out. If I was in that situation I would cry my eyes out, or try to muffle my scream of terror. :(

Everybody dies but not everybody gets killed. She means that she fears being violently killed before it's her time. Everybody hopes to die from old age, in bed, surrounded by their loved ones.

Whether they were dating or not, we all know that Santana was absolutely head over heels for Brittany. I feel like if she had seen it on the news, she would have called everyone she knew trying to make sure the Glee Club, especially Brittany, was okay. She may act like a bitch, but she’s loyal to her friends through and through.

She’d probably have Brittany hide behind her or stay by the door ready to pounce on anyone who enters. Finn would have been protecting Rachel, and hugging her. Kurt would have been in the choir room right beside Blaine. If they were in NY then I imagine Tina calling them or they could see it on the news. Kurt and Santana would be rushing to get to Lima. The entire glee club would be in a panic and texting each other for news.

Just remember if it does to stay calm and think rationally as best as you can. When fight or flight kicks in, all that training can go out the window. You never know how you're going to react if it happens but, if you remember those kid's lives and yours is the top priority, don't try and be a hero by attacking the person unless it's the last resort.
This episode really shows how great of a teacher Mr. Schue is and how much he loves these kids. The fact that he risked his life to find Brittany and give Sam and the others some peace of mind that she was safe is incredible. He’s an amazing teacher for that.
Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet, Matthew Morrison, and Melissa Benoist could all get emmys off their brief moments in this scene alone
Brittany’s acting was on point here. The minute she heard someone walk into the bathroom, her face just froze in terror and when she heard that it was Mr. Shue, she let her breath go and eased up. Man this whole episode deserved like all the best awards.
It would have been so powerful if this happened while the old cast was still there. Mercedes and her faith along with Quinn and Sam. Had Santana still been there but separated from Brittany it would have been intense. Brittany's innocence must have been shattered in that moment. While Sam loved her and had a bit of a naivety about him Brittany radiated an innocence that was a direct contrast to how Santana viewed the world. Which was part of the reason Santana always took on that role of being Brittany's protector. Reminds me of the time she let Rory have it and described Britt to him or the time she didn't want to leave Britt behind and join the Troubletones. She always wanted to be close enough to look out for her, so imagine how intense it would have been if she were so close and yet so far.
I really wish that they would have done this with all the original glee kids because I have such a bigger connection with them. I honestly really dislike the newbie characters but really like the school shooter storyline for an episode.

what a very caring teacher. something i always love to remember is that even though a teacher may seem to hate you, if this was to ever happen at your school that teacher would do anything they possibly could to make sure your alright.

I wasn't scared though, the classroom I was in was in a building that if you didn't have that class, you didn't know there was a classroom in that building. A lot of people think it's for maintenance. My school was locked down for 5 hours, and about half of the school was evacuated before they let us be picked up
This happened to me too. A guy apparently prank called our school saying he was going to do a school shooting. We had to sit under our desks for about 5 hours.

I really feel so sad and feels that Marley and her mom, Britanny and Tina are the best in this episode, because you can have a touch with differents scenes that can happen in a situation like that. Britanny been alone and scared just a kid needing help, Marley been scared and sad without knowing how her mom is doing and also Marley's mom in a danger scene without help and themnTina, she is saved, yes but she didn't know what happen with her friends and have that angst in her is so sad

I wasn't scared though, the classroom I was in was in a building that if you didn't have that class, you didn't know there was a classroom in that building. A lot of people think it's for maintenance. My school was locked down for 5 hours, and about half of the school was evacuated before they let us be picked up

I really feel so sad and feels that Marley and her mom, Britanny and Tina are the best in this episode, because you can have a touch with differents scenes that can happen in a situation like that. Britanny been alone and scared just a kid needing help, Marley been scared and sad without knowing how her mom is doing and also Marley's mom in a danger scene without help and themnTina, she is saved, yes but she didn't know what happen with her friends and have that angst in her is so sad
