Don't forget to check for Window Film on the Glazing :) A Low E window film installed to single pane glazing would give near dual pane performance (similar with double to triple). Worth noting as it adds points :)

How is it possible that our house was rated whilst the developer completely forgot to insulate the loft. It was zero insulation in the loft. A snagging company hired detected the issue? Please how should I professionally address this issue with the accessor without necessarily causing problems for him. Thanks.

So actually is no ,,check" because u Don't know how thick the insulation is or what wall will be made off. Checking is not mathematics formulas with the information provided by the client( witch anyone can do) but a device witch can actually tell you the heat loss

Who can I get to investigate this and who regulates this does it stop at storma however it's spelt or is there anyone else more relivent

No, it doesn't - it's a bit of a weird convention.
Looking at government reports EPC A properties seem to use more energy than EPC B. Why would that be?

I'm surprised to hear that. They may not be rooms but they do add additional insulation to the core of the property..

Not hollow, but when you do a tap test, the EPS systems make a hollow sound. The mineral or the stone wool systems tend not to make the same sound.
