What's Involved During An EPC visit | What You Need To Know

Ever wondered what happens when an EPC assessor visits a property to produce an energy performance certificate, like what's involved, how long does it take, what information the assessor needs, do you have to do anything.
All these questions and more are answered by Lewis Dickson from Energy Smart. He takes you through a real home visit explaining the information that needs to be gathered about the homes heating system, lighting, glazing and insulation. Once this information is obtained, the energy performance certificate and an epc energy rating can be produced. The EPC certificate is then valid for 10 years.
