Regarding installation (at around 1:35 in the video): when I bought and installed a Holafly eSIM in-app two days ago, I could install it "automatically" - the same process as the airalo "direct" installation. Two weeks ago this feature wasn't available to me. Perhaps this feature is being rolled out in certain updates and/or regions as we speak? I do agree that, on both platforms, this is the fastest installation method.
I can't speak from experience but a friend used Holafly in China and it worked, I believe the eSIM has a VPN so they bypass the GFW. Can't be sure about Airalo but there's probably a lot of chat on Reddit and elsewhere that could be useful. ^Jonny
Hello. I live in US. If I visit Philippines, I wouldnt be able to register sim cards bec I dont have Philippine ID. If I download Airalo or Halofly before leaving US, will I have data in Philippines after arriving without the need to register the esim? Can I continue to buy additional data while I'm in Philippines? Thanks
That is a very good question, and a difficult one to answer as I haven't experienced that. If the Airalo eSIM is a Filipino one, then when you arrive in the Philippines you should have access to data, like any eSIM. I don't see why you wouldn't. ^Jonny
I just arrived in the Philippines from the U.S., I installed an airalo eSIM before leaving home but didn’t activate it. I later realized that I should’ve activated it because you need a stable wifi connection to do so. I had to wait till I arrived at my hotel. After activating the eSIM I immediately had access to data and everything worked out fine and you don’t need to register the eSIM here which means no ID needed as well.😊
Hey Jay, for your family members you'll need to buy additional eSIMs. With Holafly you can do this at checkout by selecting 'Number of eSIMs: 3', with Airalo you'll need to buy purchase them separately. Cheers! ^Jonny
Nice brother you're doing good job Actually I'm facing little problem I want your suggestion I want to open Euro bank account Because my wise bank account close
I disagree, Airalo is pretty cheap compared to the rest of the eSIM industry. Holafly is definitely more expensive, but not extortionately and they price themselves relative to their unlimited offering. Can you direct me to an unlimited data provider that's much cheaper? And also a provider who's cheaper than Airalo for lower usage, such a 1GB? ^Jonny

Hmm automatic installation, that sounds good! I don't have that available on my end, I only have QR Code and Installation codes (aka manual). ^Jonny
how about coverage in China? I’m going to China and they have gfw..

Glad you found the video helpful, let me know if you have any questions. ^Jonny
Is it possible to use Holafly on a laptop? Or does that require a hotspot? (EU based)
eSIMs can only be used with eSIM compatible devices. Check if your laptop is compatible lol
I have a family of 3. Are these plans per phone?

Shill!
Your discounts don’t work any more :(
Are you certain? Which did you try, they are both working for me. ^Jonny
Yes, I’m certain, I tried both 10% and 15% and none of them worked. I am in London, England. But it did stayed at 5% off though.
Can anyone help?
If I turn off roaming while I’m away, how do I receive text messages through my primary number?
You can still receive text messages with data roaming turned off, you couldn't receive iMessages but SMS will work.
Turn low data mode on and enable roaming.
@@Meechhh1 Good advice!
For Egypt Airalo didn‘t work good, always bad connection
Airalo is working very poor the last months and customer support is hardly there. Also more expensive than other providers that do work!
I frequently have problems with Airalo installation
What problems are you having? ^Jonny
Payoneer what about this
They are both extortionately priced, don't waste your money! Just another YT fake advertiser
