I'm not a religious woman, yet I am a spiritual one. When I come across a grave that seems neglected or damaged from ages, I say lament to give peace to the desecration, whether purposefully or not. I also wear a talisman ( 20" chain with several added charms either gifted or anointed). I wish I could run my hands on the stone walls 🧱 or on a 500 year old gravestone. The highly decorated headstone is all about the crucifixion, containing the implements used by the Roman soldiers
right down to the ladder used to take Our Lord down from the cross and the 30 pieces of silver given to Judas.
The largest above ground tomb was originally a small church ruin, outer walls being used in the building of the tomb.
Thank you for your work recording these interesting parts of our history.

To throw trash into someone’s place of rest is very rude and disrespectful imagine people doing that to you it’s a real shame peoples place of rest isn’t maintained

It's terrible, if they can do that in a grave, what are they like as people

Such good stuff, such good stuff! It really ticks me off when I see debris thrown in those Crypts by the ignorant they’ll pay one day.
