Nice watching you ladies on a hot summer afternoon. I’m ready to cast a Spell for more time needed to be stitching. So many beautiful patterns. I need to look at it as part of this hobby is collecting.
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers Hi Roberta!! Normally it rains in the afternoon like 1 pm. Some days it is a fast big portion of water and others it lasts like 3 hours but not so strong. So, umbrella ☔️ always ready!! Regards!!🥰
Thanks for sharing all your crow patterns! I wasn’t a crow stitcher but seeing yours in the past, I am stitching one now and enjoying it! A spell for sure! 😁❤
Thank you for another enjoyable flosstube. Enjoyed both the adoption story and the pilot story along with the beautiful cross stitch. It is very hot here in Colorado. Stay cool. Need a spell of coolness.
Hi Carol. Yes we are melting in Kansas also. But I’m certainly not ready for winter. Thank you for watching. I hope to visit again soon. Happy stitching ❤😊
Thanks so much Carol. My son in Colorado is very happy they got a new air conditioner last month. He's a do-it-yourselfer and started working on it at the end of last year so it was not working until June.
Roberta, I loved hearing about the adoption story! It is so wonderful that the children are safe and secure now. So many cute crows!! I really enjoyed all of the patterns you have in your stash! I look forward to meeting and seeing you both at the Midsummer Stitch event!
It was the happiest end to any of my CASA cases. I hope you enjoyed the Midsummer Stitch event! It was a busy Saturday for me but I would have loved to spend more time with everyone.
It was so nice to sit a spell, stitch and watch you both. Such fun to see all the crow charts and patterns. Definitely need to add a few to my Autumn stitching.
You ladies always put a Spell on me when I watch your floss tube! It has been so hot here in Iowa as well. Roberta…I love seeing all the fall in hobby lobby as well! Linnie… I love how your grandson’s are so sweet to you! Have a great week ladies until next time 😊
Oh me too Frankie. I live all the change of colors. When I add orange to my decor it just makes it pop plus there are so many cute patterns. Good luck 🍀 ❤😊
Another great fun video ladies. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitching and all the crow charts. Love them all. You put a spell on me. 🧵🪡✂️🧵
Ladies I was very very excited to hear you are going to be hosting a table on Midsummer stitch! ❤. This will be my very first ever cross stitch event! I may be under a Spell after that? Ha ha. Thank you for your videos. See you soon.
Thanks so much Linda! I was just remembering that we had wallpaper in the dining room of our first house that was a very similar color and I liked it then as well!
Loved the jokes and laughed😂 Thanks for the crow parade, saw a few have not seen before. Would like to cast a spell to have low dew points rest of summer.Love your America pillow Roberta. Enjoy your videos and look forward to them.
Hi Rhonda. Thank you for watching and your kind comments. I agree with the weather. It would be nice if the humidity was lower than the temperature whew!!!!! Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. ❤
Thanks so much Rhonda! I'm not a fan of the humidity either. We are lucky that it's usually lower in the evenings so that's when I prefer to work in the garden.
Hi Carol. I wish the humidity wouldn’t be higher than the temperature haha. I can feel my hair frizz up. I just want to stitch it all. Take care and keep cool. ❤😊
How wonderful that your grandsons want to spend time with you Linnie, I think that is marvellous, loved the video even the hiccups, between light and heat, oh dear I do hope it cools for you soon, we definitely do not have that issue, i keep wondering when Summer is actually going to arrive, but we did get a short spell of sun this afternoon.
Hello Ladies! I’m looking forward to stitching at your table during Midsummer! I love crows, but not all over my lawn, cawing.😂 I especially liked the wool appliqué you showed, Roberta. Linnie, yay, you brought another happy convert to cross stitch into the fold.
I might have squealed when you mentioned coming to Springfield Aug. 10 to stitch with the Ozark Mtn. Stitchers! I’m going to get to meet you!!👏👏👏 I loved the parade of Crows! So many great patterns! Happy stitching!❤
Such a pleasure to see both of you!! Thank you for sharing all of your crow patterns. I really am hoping to get some crow stitching done this year. I am feeling overwhelmed with all the stitching I want to do but, I am struggling with not enough hours in a day. I appreciate the both of you for taking time to share all of your beautiful stitching!! By the way so many great little stitches in the BBD spell book!! ❤
You both cast a SPELL on stitchers every time I watch your videos. I have a good friend who loves Halloween and stitches and quilts many items in this season. Thanks for sharing all your crow patterns which I loved seeing but still have haunts after watching the movie BIRDS as a teenager and duck down if I see flocks of birds today.
Haha Sharon. I watched BIRDS through a hole in the blanket I had covered up in. I was just a teenager too. Thanks for watching today. I’m hope your liked our ‘murder of crows’. Ps. I love to stitch Halloween. Take care and happy stitching. ❤😊
Hello Ladies, So lovely to spend the afternoon with you both, sorry to hear it’s so warm, that’s reminds of my sister when we’re growing up , running around chasing each other on a summers day and I said to her I’m too tired and sweaty to run anymore , are you not sweating? To which she replied, “ ladies don’t sweat, they perspire “ I think she was about 6 years old because was around 9, lol, Now days we are lucky if we get a dry spell never mind a sunny one.
Oh that’s hilarious. I was at TMobile a few minutes ago and I was perspiring bucket loads. Haha. Thanks for watching. We have a 110 heat index today. I’m going to stitch the afternoon in a cool stitching spot. Hope you can too. ❤😊
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and listening to you both. I never thought about stitching crows for the Fall, but after watching today, I think you put a spell on me and now I am searching thru my charts looking for a few to stitch. I also am ready to get stitching on my Fall wips from last year and get them finished. Have a great week!
Enjoyed my first FT (& subscribed) with you ladies & love all of the crow charts. Wrote down many for my wish list. Thank you for the opportunity to cast a spell for my name to be pulled. 🐦⬛
Hi and welcome to our little tribe. We are so happy you enjoyed our flosstube. We love to share and inspire and hope to leave you with a smile. Good luck in the drawing. Happy stitching. ❤😊
I love watching you take out all the patterns for fall stitching. I really like the wool pattern booklets. I think I'll sit down for a spell and look and see what's in my stash!
Again ladies just made me happy when I saw you posted! And as always wonderful stitching and Roberta happy your adopted family worked out! Well until you cast another SPELL have a wonderful weekend!
Accidently left this comment on Comfort Stitching channel by Jackie; Linnie are you trying to cast a spell over us!? I'm just sure you've shared that pilot and seeing eye dog story before! Now i've gotta go back and look at your last video again. Or did i just listen twice!! 😂 Roberta, I went to see my grandgirls for the 4th of July weekend and i had a great drive there and back and tons of fun while with them, my daughter, and son in law. He spoiled us girls really good with a long 2 hour personal fireworks show! We still miss our little Willow Dear but her tree is growing really nice next to their lovely garden full of various tomatoes and lots of other goodies and flowers too. I'm so proud of my sweet little Michigan Clan! They have worked so hard through their grief and their little home is just a mini paradise. Many endless Thanks to you ladies and every one else who has sent even one pray or good wish their way. 🎉💗
I've left comments on the wrong video as well. I blame it on how quickly TH-cam switches from one video to another. I'm so sorry for your loss Kristina. I'm glad you were able to see your family over the 4th and made such good memories. Our son went to University in Michigan so we spent several summers traveling up and down the west side; so pretty in the summer.
Linnie your bedtime story was one of the best you have told. The parade of crows was very enjoyable as I sat and did fill in stitching while watching you. I’m at my daughter’s house taking care of the pets while she and my SIL took two of my grandsons to Sea World in San Diego to celebrate the 10th birthday of one of them. Meanwhile, I’m sitting at their house where it’s 90 degrees out. I live at the beach so I am not used to this weather. I wish I knew how to cast a spell to cool it down outside. They have AC but I’d rather be out in the yard. They are in the process of landscaping their yard and they’ve done some pretty cool things, combining vegetables, fruit and flowers. They’ve done so much since they moved in. As always, I enjoyed your video. It is one of my favorites. Enjoy your pool and the gardening!
Hi Barbara. Thank you for spending time with us. I remember when we went on vacation my mom would come stay at our house and watch my doggie. Now I’m the grandma and watch my grandpa while my kids on vacation. How lovely to live by the beach. I’m born and bred in Kansas and there sure aren’t any beaches around her haha. Thank you for your kind words and I wish you a happy rest of the summer and lots of happy stitching ❤😊
So sweet of you to pet sit. Now that we have a kitty again that is one of my biggest concerns when we travel. I worry much more about Pepper being happy than the house being vacant. I'd love to see a photo of that yard; sounds like they are very talented to combine all those plants.
Hey sweet friends! I loved your Crow Show...I'm always stitching something with Crows They have a special meaning to me as my Father,, who just turned 95, carried the nickname of Crow since he was about 6 years old. Seems a next door neighbor always had a yard filled with Crows and Dad would go next door and play and chase them through the yard when he had no one else to play with. Every year he gets a birthday cake with a big black crow on it and we all eat the pieces around the edges so he can have the crow all to himself. Sweet memories and stitched pieces with crows are always a tribute to him! Have a wonderful two weeks and see you next time. xoxoxo
Roberta I had no idea you were born in Davenport! I was as well ( Mercy Hospital ) and grew up in Pleasant Valley and lived there until I was married. I am blessed to live within about one hour of Be Stitch Me in Moline IL my "local" LNS as well as the Little Red Hen in Muscatine IA. Love your Grand Ole Flag Finish!! Lovely!! I feel like we are neighbors visiting over a cup of coffee when I watch your flosstubes! Horses have always had a spell on me, I brought my first pony home at 11 after spending the summer babysitting and earning enough money to buy him myself and my parents finally realized how much I love and still do have a horse even at the age of 61!
I was also born at Mercy! We moved away before I was in school so I have only a few memories from there but my sister has returned faithfully for her high school reunions.
Enjoying watching on a hot, hot Saturday night while listening to thunder while the rain is pouring down. Love all the crows. I just purchased fabrics for a crow quilt I bought last year. I recognized a couple of patterns so now I need to go through my stash to find them. Plus need to see if I can find a few to order online. Breaking my resolution not to purchase anything until I’ve finished a few projects but this floss tube has put a spell on me!
I usually love summer -- but I live in Houston and right now -- I am over it! I have been craving fall and even started drinking my pumpkin flavored coffees! I recently completed the Teresa Kogut crow that is in the 2024 Nashville Cookbook (which is adorable!) and now the crows have a spell on me too -- going to do another crow stitch. Thanks for sharing your collection! Happy stitching xoxo
That's a cute design. Did it take long? I certainly don't need to add another thing but it would be nice to stitch something from one of the cookbooks I've collected.
It's always so fun to see you both! Linnie, your grandsons are growing up too fast! ❤ Roberta, it sounds like you had a fun time with your grandson. He's a charmer, for sure! Wow, so many crow patterns. I'm not into Halloween, so I've missed seeing a lot of them, but the Fall ones are so pretty. Wool applique project books were so pretty to see. Gardening is a full-time occupation in itself. I just turned 70, and I love to be out grubbing around in the dirt planting and weeding. So hot this Summer, though, so early morning is good for that. Maybe someone can cast a spell for cooler Autumn days. 😂 Y'all take care and happy stitching. ❤
Hi Judy. Thank you for joining us today. Yes my boys are growing up too quickly but I have many memories of their spending time with Mimi and PawPaw. I’m very proud of the young men they will be. I also enjoy stitching fall. My favorite part is the floss color change. Such warm floss colors and the wool appliqués are calling my name. Happy 70th birthday. Enjoy your gardening. It’s so hot here but the morning is a lot cooler. Take care and happy stitching ❤😊
I finished moving and putting in new plants last week and am taking a break until the fall. Now I need to try to keep up with all the watering, which is a job in itself! I'm planning to do another gardening video next week but feel like I really have a better vision about how I want things to look and went a long ways towards laying the groundwork for coming years.
“Cooking and cleaning can wait 'till tomorrow, For babies grow up, I've learned to my sorrow. So settle down, cobwebs, and, dust, go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby 'cause babies don't keep." Stitched this as a crewel kit back in the '70s - a very long time ago and far, far away. But so many precious memories. Thanks for the reminder.
As always, a great video. Loved seeing all the crow designs. Time for me to start a new collection. I remember Need’l Love Company patterns…such fun stitches. Thanks for sharing🙂!
I was so happy for this family! I'm stepping away because of my new commitment to being our church's liaison to a Head Start program, but I will miss the close contact with the kids and families.
Thanks for posting about the Midsummer Stitch! I hadn't heard of it yet, so that's perfect for my weekend plans (I am venturing out in the DC heat only to attend my SIL's birthday gathering and for nothing else! It's grossly hot here, and I usually like summer.)
Also, I was supposed to have a Halloween wedding in October 2020 that was rescheduled to spring 2022, but I kept referring to my bridesmaids as my Murder of Crows.
Funny about your bridesmaids. My friend's daughter is a huge Halloween fan and was married on that day a few years ago. We are so fortunate to be having a break from all the heat for a few days. So lovely!
I hope you had a chance to join in. I hope we did ok. It was so much fun. Thank you Stephanie Webb (Lindy’s Stirches) for putting it together. Stay cool. ❤😊
Your crow projects are fantastic!!! You reminded me of see many patterns I have in my stash. Yay! Hope to stitch with you both at the Midsummer Stitch on Saturday. 😊
Hello friends. I always love to sit for a spell and stitch while I watch you. Wow to all those crows, so many pretty ones. Loved to see them, now you only have to stitch them. Lol. Syay cool. Its 103 in Oklahoma, so the heat is on. Hugs.
Hi Mary Lou. You would love wool appliqué. It is really easy and you have a quick finish. There are a lot of tutorials on TH-cam but if you have any questions please let us know. Enjoy the rest of your summer ❤😊
I can't wait to see you at the midsummer retreat. Hopefully I can sit and stitch a Spell with you all. I've never had a stitchy friend or done anything like this so I'm excited. Thanks for another fun video.
Love the blue house on your Blackbird singing in the dead of night and the gingham matches perfectly, that itty bitty frog steer is a big nuisance, glad you have got shot of him, I hope I don’t see him for a long spell because he is reluctant to leave sometimes. Hope you cool off real soon.
Hi. Just want to say hi and thank you for spending time with us. I’m in the fall stitching mood also while it’s 109 degrees outside. Enjoy your stitching and we’ll be visiting soon again. ❤😊
Hi Linnie & Roberta. Love all the crows stitchie patterns you showed. You cast a spell on me to start working on a few. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
Showing the Loose Feathers threesome, I have to share. I’m a stitcher from when all you could get was 14 count white Aida and DMC. I stopped stitching for quite a few years, opting for quilting, preparing for retirement and poor eyesight. Well, as many have experienced, the shock of picking up stitching again with all the linen, evenweave, colored various counts of Aida, floss galore…..my sister sent me the three Loose Feathers you have for my birthday. Off I went to The Attic for linen. I didn’t know anything about linen and evenweave but Carolyn graciously cut me a piece of linen and home I went to stitch. I made it through and have my beautifully framed piece on my wall. I tried other linen but decided to stay with Aida. I’m 81 and talk about a stash beyond life expectancy, I need to stitch as fast as possible! Love your videos…you two are a kick. Makes my day when a new video pops up.
Hi Patricia. I’m so happy you shared with us. Wasn’t that that exciting to see how stitching has changed. That’s what happened to me during Covid. I have been quilting from the 90s or so and when I saw all the newer patterns I went down the rabbit hole. I’m working on an 18 count project tonight. I love the look of linen but my eyes are getting older and I find Aida is just more fun. I have done 36 and I like it but it takes more concentration. Congratulations on finishing Loose Feathers. I’m sure it is stunning. Celebrate your 81 years and do what you like. I wish you many more happy stitching times.
So glad to see another one of your videos. Awesome crow parade. Love the crow project bags. Just finished my patriotic stitching and will sit a SPELL before starting my bee stitching. TFS.
It was nice meeting you ladies at Midsummer Stitch. I enjoyed watching your video. You ladies are a joy to watch. I am looking forward to your next videos. Spell is a beautiful booklet full of charts.
It's just Ozark Stitchers but I'm a member of group. 😁 I hope to attend and see you ladies there!
We can’t wait to meet you all too. See you soon ❤😊❤😊❤

Have a wonderful two weeks and see you next time. xoxoxo
Hi Barbara. What a wonderful memory. I will stitch a crow just for him. Thanks for sharing ❤Enjoy😊❤😊❤
What a wonderful memory Barbara! Thank you for sharing this.
Love stitching crows. They put a spell on you.
❤
❤
Thank you. ❤😊
Flosstube does that to me as well!
Great to see you both. Enjoyed the “Crow Show”😂 Hope you get lots of stitches in over the next few weeks.
Hi Merritt. Crows are fun to stitch. Thanks for watching. It’s over 100 degrees today and I’m thinking fall. Happy stitching. ❤😊
Never enough stitching time! Hope your summer is going well Merritt!
Your stories and jokes bri g me a spell of laughter!
Hi Katherine. Thank you for sharing time with us and so happy we can leave you with a smile. Happy stitching. ❤😊
spell That was a great story, Lenny. A lot of laughs in this episode and very much needed today.
Love all the crows! I’m finishing up a summer stitch and then will be stitching fall for a spell.
Such warm floss colors
and the wool appliqués are calling my name.
Thanks for the crow parade! I now have lots of leads for charts. Love the spell chart!
I love to sit a spell and watch you both as I stitch!
❤😊

“Cooking and cleaning can wait 'till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, I've learned to my sorrow.
So settle down, cobwebs, and, dust, go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby 'cause babies don't keep."
Stitched this as a crewel kit back in the '70s - a very long time ago and far, far away. But so many precious memories. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh thank you Marcia. We tried so hard to remember that. Thank you for sharing ❤😊
As always, a great video. Loved seeing all the crow designs. Time for me to start a new collection. I remember Need’l Love Company patterns…such fun stitches. Thanks for sharing🙂!
Hi Mary. Thank you for watching. So many great patterns. ❤😊
Those books are still the best in my opinion!!
I never realized there were so many crow patterns. I need to cast a spell and get some. Love your Flosstube videos. Happy stitching!
❤😊
I always enjoy your videos. Love the black birds. Roberta thank you for CASA. Elaine MI
Hi Elaine. Thank you for spending time with us. Blackbirds are fun to stitch. Being on some fall. 100 degrees today. Whew! Happy stitching ❤😊
Stay cool. ❤😊
Thank you for showing all the crow charts. Spell
You are welcome Heather. We love to inspire and enable and then leave you with a smile. ❤😊
Love your Crow Collection! Thanks so much for sharing. Spell
Thank you Lydia. We even get amazed with our own stash. Crows 🐦⬛ are fun. Happy stitching ❤😊
Your crow projects are fantastic!!! You reminded me of see many patterns I have in my stash. Yay! Hope to stitch with you both at the Midsummer Stitch on Saturday. 😊
Thank you for joined us today. I’m so excited for Midsummer Stitch. We can’t wait to meet you. Happy stitching ❤😊
I hope you enjoyed the event! Thank you for spending time with us.
Loved the video, I always enjoy a pattern with a SPELL :-).
There has been a long spell dry weather Enjoying your flosstube
Thank you so much for all the crow patterns! Wowza! I love them all! Love the Cast a Spell pattern which I don't have yet. Enjoy your summer :)
Hello friends. I always love to sit for a spell and stitch while I watch you. Wow to all those crows, so many pretty ones. Loved to see them, now you only have to stitch them. Lol. Syay cool. Its 103 in Oklahoma, so the heat is on. Hugs.
That's always the conundrum; so many patterns but not enough stitching time!
You girls cast me under your spell again. Love the wool applique. Never tried it but might be enabled soon.
Hi Mary Lou. You would love wool appliqué. It is really easy and you have a quick finish. There are a lot of tutorials on TH-cam but if you have any questions please let us know. Enjoy the rest of your summer ❤😊
I am under you spell. So enjoying you videos and hope to see you at the stitching table on Saturday.
I can't wait to see you at the midsummer retreat. Hopefully I can sit and stitch a Spell with you all. I've never had a stitchy friend or done anything like this so I'm excited. Thanks for another fun video.
Hi Carol. I’m so excited to meet you too. What a privilege this will be. See you soon. ❤😊
I hope you had a wonderful time at the Midsummer Stitch event!
I really enjoy your floss tube episodes. Can’t wait to start stitching Autumn and Halloween - ghosts..goblins….a witch casting a spell.
Hi. Just want to say hi and thank you for spending time with us. I’m in the fall stitching mood also while it’s 109 degrees outside. Enjoy your stitching and we’ll be visiting soon again. ❤😊
Fall and Halloween are my favorites!
You are so fun to watch. Loved seeing all the crows! Spell
Thank you Leslie for the sweet comment and spending time with us. Happy stitching ❤😊
Great crow charts! Thanks ladies! Your garden photos are lovely. I'm not much of a gardener but I appreciate seeing what others have done. Spell
❤
Thanks so much Diane! My husband says I'm obsessed with the garden this year.
Thanks for another great flosstube ladies. Spell
Thank you for watching. ❤😊
Here in Northern Ca we’ve had a spell of crazy hot weather. Really enjoy your videos!
My son in San Diego said it's been hot there as well. Hope you are not in the area of any wildfires.
Loved your crow theme! A lot of fun - we were all under your spell ;)
You ladies cast a spell on us. Starting Mighty Oak sounds really lovely, may join you as I have an antique frame I want to use for it.
I was so excited. I actually started it tonight. Please join us and thank you for watching ❤😊
Lucky you! Antique frames add so much to a piece.
I really enjoy watching you ladies. When you spell out SABLE, it always gives me a chuckle. :) I love so many of your crow patterns.
Hi Jocelyn. SABLE does make a lot of sense when you see all our patterns. I’m on the 200 year plan. Haha. Happy stitching ❤😊
It is funny but also soooo true.
Hi Linnie & Roberta. Love all the crows stitchie patterns you showed. You cast a spell on me to start working on a few. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
Thank you for sharing with us. We will be chatting with you soon. ❤😊
So happy to see your videos. Spell
Enjoyed your video. Spell is so cute, it would be a fun stitch. Take care!
What a great story Patricia! You are my sister's age and she is my role model; so active and fun.
I love listening to both of you. I’m never board!!!!
I love all your crows!
Thank you Lynn for sharing time with us. Happy stitching ❤😊
So glad to see another one of your videos. Awesome crow parade. Love the crow project bags. Just finished my patriotic stitching and will sit a SPELL before starting my bee stitching. TFS.
Hi Sue. Thank you for watching. Crows are so much fun. I really didn’t realize how many I did have. 🐦⬛ happy stitching. ❤😊
Ooo, bees might be another good subject to show. I love bees and bee hives!
It was nice meeting you ladies at Midsummer Stitch. I enjoyed watching your video. You ladies are a joy to watch. I am looking forward to your next videos. Spell is a beautiful booklet full of charts.
Thanks so much for spending time with us JoAnn!
