lowkey annoyed at all of the FB act 2 comments, only because Yes almost the entire soundtrack is repurposed, but the fact that every rearrangement Still Fkn Slaps isn't talked about enough lol i remember seeing the ngpc for sale as a bargain novelty in a plastic blister-pack back in the day when i worked at a department store, and i went out of my way to import a CIB japanese model and Sonic Pocket Adventure from ebay when i learned that It Existed. It's a phenomenal game, a great homage to classic sonic, and honestly the best 2d sonic game at the time until the first couple Advance games. It was also kind of a novelty to hear music i had known for the better part of a decade be recreated on this weird little device, while the actual game experience was Also Good... and the way they reused tracks for Very Different Levels worked surprisingly well. Mushroom Valley for the water level seemed weird for the most fleeting moment, but it's somehow completely appropriate
