I had the good fortune to import SPA and a japanese (blue camoflauge) NGPC shortly after high school in the early 2000s, and this entire game was an absolute delight. (fun fact: a couple years prior, I worked at a budget department store which actually sold the discount, plastic blister-pack neo geo pocket games and consoles on peg boards since all of that stuff was already written-off, just like the aggressively discounted dreamcast stock at the time) Not only does this game play like butter, all of the music was impressively competent; the best "8 bit" renditions of sonic music I had known since 94.
It’s actually the same thing but with free stereo and can go deeper tones (but not higher). Along with that, PSG 2 and PSG 3 can play simultaneously without Messing up one another. It goes by the name of the “Toshiba T6W28”.
Have you ever considered doing undertale/deltarune music? I've always wanted to hear The Legend from Deltarune deconstructed, but nobody's done it ☹️ If not, all good, very nice videos in any case
Excuse me, can I make a request. Can you upload and do an oscilloscope deconstruction of these Amiga mods, please. They are songs that were used in the X Men games on game gear, before they were converted to game gear. The link to download them is in the description of this video. m.th-cam.com/video/sPy_EEUwQQU/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUTZ3N0IHBhdWwgaHV0Y2hpbnNvbg%3D%3D
Aquatic Ruin + Hydrocity Zone = Double Aquatic
Aquacity Zone
This game does way more interesting audio things than I'd ever have thought without a proper listen
Well, PSG 2 is something.
3:12 EVERYBODY NOW
☆PSG 2 is something cool indeed.☆
Said it over on DeoxysPrime's video, and I'll say it again:
This is my favorite rendition of Hydrocity Act 1.
here's your newest favorite rendition of act 2:

Hydrocity Act 1
I really hope people haven’t forgotten how this console is truly 16-bit.
Kinda sad to not hear the main lead hit those high notes of the original song.
Hydrocity
Huh…!
Funky, right? 😙

This song is so cool, Carpathia let the full thing play for 2 loops instead of 1..
Right..? 😶
Yeah... Totally why that happened 👀
Hydrocity Zone in 8 bits
Is Neo Geo Pocket's soundchip not far off from what Game Gear had?

This game was so weird in its music aspect.

Wrong act number guys
@Shellbeagle no it isn't, it's in Secret Plant Act 2
@@AtJoee230 What? Oops! I got mixed up there.. sorry! 😅
@@AtJoee230 I guess I meant to say that they’re BOTH act twos in this game… (Which is kinda strange to me.)

Who can imagine Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles default dancing in sync to this? 😎👌
Me!
