- In this video, I take the challenge of defeating all the bosses in Sonic The Hedgehog Pocket Adventure for the Neo Geo without taking any damage as well as both endings. Some boss fights took over an hour to beat without taking a single bit of damage. The Extra Final Boss can only be done when collecting all 7 chaos emeralds to unleash Super Sonic!

The knuckles fight is laggy
Its kinda cool how at the start of the game, robotnik uses his classic clothes, but closer to the ending, he switches to the adventure (or modern design)
Though when he faces the screen the sprite still goes back to classic clothes? Time limitations i guess.

I don't know if you noticed but Robotnik's design alternates between his classic and modern at random.
I think i know why, cause of sonic adventure happening they decided to make everyone look closer to the new designs (well, atleast sonic and eggman), but due to time limitations, (or something else i dunno really) they didnt have enough time to make every eggman sprite look like modern.

The only Sonic game made by SNK, and that amazing how have a better job in the level desing than the original Sonic 2.

Sonic Pocket Adventure reminds me a lot of Sonic Adventure 2. Mostly because it came after.
This was in the same year as sonic Adventure 1 lmao
This game came out in 1999. Adventure 2 came out in 2001. Adventure came out in 1998.
This game actually looks really cool!
I have only 2 problems with the game:
Why does Robotnik switch from classic to modern and back to classic at some point? Second, why do the animals look so weird? The Flickies, Rockies, Cuckies and others looked WAY better on the Game Gear...

Literally the first boss is the first boss of Sonic 2 Genesis but instead of a drill, it's a hammer.
But a Robo Sonic rematch though, thats lit.

Has anybody noticed that Knuckles's boss theme is the Flying Battery Act 2 music? I... never knew that Flying Battery Act 2 could even sound like boss music, actually.
