    I've had issues with Lynx tour losing tension. It's good for a couple weeks but even the racquets not in use my sticks dropped from 55 down into the mid 30s at the two week mark. Confidential hung in in the mid to high 40s for over a month. While those string feel so similar the tension maintenance just stinks on the Lynx.

    Have a question about adding weight and lead tape. Do the lead tape not affect the stiffness of the racquet if there are larger areas of the hoop taped in? I would think the racquet might get a bit stiffer? Is it something one could measure? Even 1-2 point in ra scale would change things. Or even if it was just locally alt the hoop. So it might not just be the weight of adding lead that makes a difference when looking at it scientifically.

    • @kallewede8035
      @kallewede8035 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Adding lead tape to the hoop should not change the stiffness in any measurably way. If anything it would be ”softer” because the increased weight puts more stress on the racket and then bends more.

    Why is the Aero VS not more popular? Hardly any stores in Germany stocks it and I have never seen it on court… I’d love to try! Love 98sqin 16/20 pattern racquets, that’s where I’m at…

    • @sjjapp
      @sjjapp 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Supply shortages are affecting stocks of rackets even now. It could be that re German stocks of it. Mine took months to get through a pro shop. But yes, it's not the most popular 98 racket but this will change soon with Alcaraz and his charge up the rankings in all likelihood. If he keeps it up he's going to be a huge star and his exciting high energy style will sell a lot of rackets. I'd be very surprised if that doesn't happen.

    Holy crap, Tsitsipas with the Luxilon 4G at 57lbs?! I hurt my wrist stringing at 54lbs with my Pro Staff 95. Stringer recommended highest tension be 50lbs and hinting to go lower.

      @@ogpurple8712 Luxilon 4G was their newest line of strings that holds tension the longest. Had no idea how tight they were because I usually play with many luxilon's strung at 54-56. Pro stringer recommended 50 tops... injured my wrist T.T. Tsitsipas must have a wrist made of steel cause Luxilon 4G don't play no games. I was only able to play with my 52lb tension 4G after I beat it up real good. Great string.

    Hello ! You are only wrong about Novak his racket is PT113B1 as you said correct..but it is not a 95sq it is 98....PT=Made in Austria...113=Ti/intelligence radical mold B=softer flex 60RA....The intelligence radical mold is a 98sq headsize...HEAD recently change a little his string pattern from 18x20 to 18x19 but head size can not be changed...it is a standard 98

    • @Tennisnerd
      @Tennisnerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      HEAD used to measured the outside instead of the inside of the racquets so older HEAD racquets that are listed as 98 are really 95. This was the case until Graphene was introduced.
