- Were on our way to Monument Valley Utah! Camping at the Monument Valley KOA Journey in Utah. After spending the night there and enjoying the beautiful view of Monument Valley, the next day we drove on to Valley of the Gods. After that we went west and found a dispersed camping spot in Utah BLM lands.

I will never forget that drive as long as I live driving through monument valley and we went to arches national Park and it was like being in a dream. We went to Sedona too I forgot to say and the Grand canyon before that. Most amazing trip of my life.
@ 17:11 the plant is a Globe Mallow. It is Native to Northern AZ and a type of Holly Hock.

Lived in Monument Valley Utah in the early 60s,
Mom was a nurse at the hospital on the Navajo Indian mission just up in the rocks past Gouldings trading post an lodge, there is a north, south runway there.
Cool. Forest Gump running location.
The Navajo Nation is SO beautiful! Love, love Monument Valley! And the shower/restroom area at that KOA looked AMAZING! Y'all were VERY brave to travel through there during COVID! Navajo Nation was the hardest hit during COVID among all the 574 tribal nations in the US! You know it's bad when the CDC comes to town and stay a few months!! But how beautiful of a scenery! Y'all have got to try some authentic frybread when your back in Indian Country some time! You WILL ♥it!!

I recommend staying at the Palo Duro Canyon next time y'all are near Amarillo. They do a big BBQ dinner and the TEXAS SHOW, which is very fun. (also go see the Cadillac ranch just west of Amarillo)
