looks sorta fun but also looks like it's got a lot of development still needing to be done. Thanks for showing it off Kibz! Absolutely gonna get into it once it's a bit further along
Playing the game for the first time was quite fun. There was a lot to discover, the different regions, the crashed ships and eventually going behind the ice walls ! Nicely crafted. And the world felt HUGE. Barely having time to go anywhere before running out of oxygen, before figuring out how to travel quickly with the jetpack (I can't believe I didn't think it would be useful) and how to build "oxygen rooms" everywhere. Looking forward for further development; it is well done so far.
Seems like an awesome game kibz! Can’t wait to see more!! Also at the end it seemed like you hit the 100k temp goal to melt that ice, so hopefully you can explore even more!!!
16:30 Here in the aluminum fields there is also a second golden chest. Look on the ground for growths around. Another chest at the starting location in the south of your base right next to the wall of rocks
Just a quick tip: the T2 and T3 version are like 10x and 15x better so you will end up replacing everything so just build what you need for each stage.
No real reason not to build a ton in each stage. Most build upon the previous materials. So deconstruct when new ones are available and use this resources to help build the new ones and repeat
Hay Kibitz, there's another screen type you have yet to install, this would show the current terraformation progress. It's called the progress screen and it's another large panel like the other.

18:13 the first letters are metric prefixes so nK would be nano kelvin and the oxygen is measured in parts per trillion, the pressure is currently in micro pascals. hope this helps
That dark sparkly biome you thought would have uranium is where you get aluminum. The T1 miner can only gather aluminum in that biome (as well as the basic resources you can get anywhere.) Also the miner gets Iridium in that cave you found with all the Iridium. Also Sulfur in the Sulfur field in the biome past the Iridium cave blocked by ice. The game never tells you this though. Uranium and Osmium and Super Alloy can only be gained by t2 miners in areas where those things are found.

You've convinced me to go get this game and I'm planning on picking it up tonight, so I haven't played it just yet and could be wrong, but I think the heaters and oxygen makers are technically meant to go outside. @ImKibitz place the progress screen to check the progress after the 175kTi. There are multiple stages of teraformation - clouds, water, lakes. Also that that temperature measurment (nk) is called nano Kelvin (absolute teperature 0K is -273.15 C and 1K = -272.15 C). So in other words the teperature rise of 1nK is 0.000000001K. 1000nk = 1uK(micro Kelvin) and 1000 uK = 1mK(mili Kelvin) and then 1000mK = 1K. Then you must rise the temperature to 273K to reach 0 C (the ice melting point).
Except the ice melts WAY before the real life melting point. It tells you in the ice the it starts to melt at 100 nK which is almost nothing.. and in direct sunlight very improbable to be that cold
I realize there are more video's out already but being where I am in the game currently it's funny to see this level of thinking you have enough resources xD

nK = nano Kelvins. Oddly, 100 nK is barely above freezing. Blue Sky is the only actual specific objective the game will give you. The overall objective is to terraform the planet...what you do after Blue Sky is pretty much left up to you. Jetpacks don't give you height so much as speed. A T3 jetpack is pretty zippy! :) The recycler, though seemingly not of much use right now, will be useful later if you ever need ice. As the planet warms, naturally, ice pretty much stops forming...you can use the recycler to break down water into ice. There are 11 Golden Chests altogether. There are quite a few wrecks (and some underground bunkers too) to explore...a lot of them have messages in them. Just not all of them. :) When the food grower is at 100%, you look at the top part and click to take the food out (you also get one seed. Yes, *ONE* ). Then look at the bottom part to put a seed back in to grow again. Rinse and repeat. 2 bean growers will feed you for eternity. Eggplant and mushrooms are used mostly for fertiliser, squash .... appears to have no actual useful purpose. Much like real life! :)
If you want to focus on something that doesn't make sense, there is no pressure on the planet when you get there, so no wind, but you start with wind turbines for power.

You have a screen you can build that tells you how far along you are in the terraforming process. you might want to build some lockers in you survival huts when you go to raid a ship, you can stuff everything you find inside in the lockers and ferry it all back later, without getting lost in the dark. this is VERY important for the giant crashed ship in the dessert. BTW, YOU are a prisoner, those ships are crash victims, and there IS lore about the big ring, you just missed it. Also those big "green" rocks are Aluminum, not uranium. Resource deposits in this game are not subtle, you WILL know when you find a Uranium deposit.
The loot in the chests around the map scale with you, it's better not to collect them all too early, save some so you can get the ultra rare/ non replenishing loot items that you need late game.
As soon as you get the miners, place them on the different biomes. Like, the red cave you were jus in gives Iridium, the place where you thought you'd find Uranium in this episode is the Aluminium biome. Past the ice in the Iridium cave there is a bit of a sulfur desert. A while's away past the Aluminium place there is a Uranium cave. Those are all the rare resources I could find, as far I as can remember.
I just had to google it right after I posted this comment. It appears there are places where one can mine Osmium and Super alloy as well, but only with Tier 2 miners. And Uranium can only be mined with T2 miners as well.
the solar panels have unlimited range i believe so you can descoonstruct and reconstruct on the spot , so you don't have to lug it back to base and reconstruct there.

Didnt know how amazing this game is
Setup another one module with door n wind mill then put in an constructor with storage, n check out the plants for better %for oxygen rates
The loot in the chests around the map scale with you, it's better not to collect them all too early, save some so you can get the ultra rare/ non replenishing loot items that you need late game.
You blue it!
Are you sure you want your fart makers directly next to your base? :-D Thanks for the vid :-)
please make series out of this!
That weird kinda freaky lookin area with the small passenger craft? That's aluminum. :) You'll find uranium; it'll be VERY obvious, when you do.
And Uranium can only be mined with T2 miners as well.
the solar panels have unlimited range i believe so you can descoonstruct and reconstruct on the spot , so you don't have to lug it back to base and reconstruct there.
the recyler is god if you have a rod of iridum you can recycle black to induvial iridium. Also build the other large screen that shows how your terraforming progress is going
You will be building and upgrading like crazy the bigger your base is lol
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Me when playing this game: "Planet: "I blue myself.""
in the crater of the starting area you can de-construct a stone wall but which one :D
Man i wish they added base building and plant growing to Satisfactory
I love games like this and Subnautica so much for such things, but i want to build massive factories as well 😅
So the measurements are Ti = Terraforming Index; ppt = part-per-trillion(particles of a substance in a given amount); K = Kelvin (temperature); Pa = pascals (Air pressure).
after watchig several of your playlist I now have subscribed 🎉
The biome you thought would have uranium is an aluminum field. :)
Also, places like this, iridium and uranium caves and even super alloy places can have drills placed in the area to get that resource
