This is probably THE best "feather" video I've seen...and believe me I've watched alot of them! Feathers are my favorite and I think I do them very well but I'd never seen a stacked or tiered feather like this before. Your videos are all wonderful and as is your blog. I can't imagine there ever being a "thumbs down" on any of them. You are clear and concise in your instruction; your video is good quality and your stitching is superb. I really want to thank you for taking time to share and to teach. I've not been longarming long---but I'm kind of a fanatic about it...lol.

What nice things for you to say, Kathy! I so greatly appreciate the time it took you to respond and I'm so glad that you found me. Have a fantastic day and I hope you'll stop back when I get more videos done. I hope to do more at the start of 2018...rather hectic right now. Have a fantastic day and have fun longarming!!

Very beautiful and different! Could you show how you would turn corners in a border with this design?
Thank you for the inspiration which I think can be done on a regular machine.

Brenda Sierdsma, that’s a great idea! I’ve got a lot of custom quilts under roof right now, but we’ll see if I can create a video for taking this around corners and in a border later this summer! Thank you for your kind comments.
      Have a great day :)

so it's been a couple of years now since you got your Innova. How do you like it? I was excited to see you got one I've had mine for about 5 years now. I got the lightening stitch but no robotics. I would never of learned anything with it. Happy quilting.

You make this look so easy! beautiful work.
Just wondering! what kind of thread are you using for this feather? Im new to quilting feathers, have had some tension issues and I'm working all of my issues out, and I don't have a long arm.

Debra Vaughn awe, thank you :). I am using glide 40 weight thread. It is a trilobal polyester embroidery thread. I hope you give these feathers a try! Take care.

Your videos remind me to practice and inspire me to do well. Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to try this. Have you mounted a GoPro on your longarm?

Cate Doss, I’m so glad to hear that! Right now, I’m filming with an iPhone, but I cannot find a good mount for this Innova. I’ve tried two and theres just too much bounce still.
