Yes but those later 7/9 Series are very very reliable, I have a 1994 940 Turbo that I regret selling w/ 260K miles. Go price a Mercedes E-Class from that time period which the 940 was more equal in size with versus a C -Class.

40k in 1991? Good lord. My 2019 S60 was only about 47k by comparison. Though I have no place to put loose coins. I guess it all evens out...
