I love Morrigan's refusal to humor the guardian. This might be a spirit (maybe of faith) that took on the form of one of Andraste's followers. Maybe the spirit is an amalgam of several andrastrian followers, as spirits tend to change depending on what they are exposed to in the "real" world. The presence of large amounts of lyrium in the mountain (as pointed out by Oghren) supports this notion, as lyrium is considered a bridge between the waking world and the fade. The people that appear later to test you (those historically related to Andraste) can also be explained as fade spirits playing the roles they saw in the waking world. Morrigan might've at least had an inkling of what was going on and decided not to be toyed with by confused fade spirits.
As do I, I'm quite skeptical there is a "Maker", and I believe the Black City belonged to the ancient Elvhen and now harbours the old gods from Solas' banishment of them. It's quite amusing that so much fanatical (faithful) belief is summed up as nothing but spirits in the fade grasping at their spiritual purpose. Morrigan and Wynne are polar opposites, I believe Morrigan sees the world for what it truly is whereas Wynne deluded herself in demands of comfort.

"And you, Dog... Every day, you are taunted with the same question, one which you fear you will never know the answer to. You wonder if you'll ever find out who's a good boy."
Theory: He’s a Spirit of Judgement, taking the form of a younger Havard the Aegis. While Faith is also a possibility, I think his questions reflect self-judgement more than belief. Note how he doesn’t question if Stan regrets murdering children, but if he’s made his people appear like monsters for it. Sten’s judgement is wrapped up in the Qun, which doesn’t let him have even individual guilt outside of how he harms the whole of his people. The Guardian is remarkably adept at reading the silent Qunari in a way he can’t easily dismiss. Forcing the confrontation Sten must have with himself over his duty as a part of the Beresaad and not some cast off. Lelianna’s treatment seems especially brutal, because I think she’s one of the most guilt-ridden characters in the game. She questions nearly every action she undertakes so the Guardian attacks her with apparent ferocity, that, in the end, is only a reflection of her struggle to believe she is a person capable of redemption. She’s whipping herself with her own belief and the Guardian brings that out to demonstrate what she must overcome. Oghren displays a profound sense of self. He has contempt for himself but he doesn’t let it stop him from moving forward. Still, it could also reflect that the Guardian sees he’s not ready to confront his further problems (hard drinking) and let’s it go. Morrigan refuses to engage. The Guardian doesn’t pressure her. It’s obvious she’s not handling her own doubts/insecurities well and belittling her will not help. Zevran’s exchange is telling. He doesn’t shut the Spirit down right off without answering his question. Showing the Guardian (and himself) that the harsh slave-childhood he had hasn’t fully extinguished the spark of who he is. For all his glibness he’s not the heartless murderer he seems. Shame is a near blank. But the Guardian recognizes the decisions she made in the past and has to make in the narrow scope of her new form. And praises her strength. The Warden is always confronted with the pain of someone they love. Implying they still haven’t forgiven themselves for failing in some way. Each failed person comforts them in the Trials. Picture the Warden walking into the room, probably ruminating on the Guardian’s harsh words, only to find their loved one confronting them. Teryn Cousland is warm and fatherly. Trian is caustic and bitter. Tamlen is open and trusting. They are perfect representations of themselves, not badly crafted imitators. The Trial there is to speak to who you’ve failed and find a way to move on.
Is this a mod you're using or just dedicated editing? I love how you can have all the companions are there for the cutscenes. If it's a mod, I'd LOVE to add it to my collection.
Same here. Well, actually, my head canon has two mages in addition to all the other origins (A mid twenties male Surana and a younger sort of female Amell) but essentially the same,
I like that head canon too, but I wonder, if all 6 wardens were in the same party, what would happen in Orzammar? The dwarf commoner would side with Bhelen for Rica's sake, but the dwarf noble would be loath to do that after Bhelen betrayed them.
@@Blokewood3 That one is complicated. Bhelen technically framed Reina (Dwarf Noble) and I just had to ADD some things to the story to make it work. Basically Haldis (Casteless Dwarf) finds evidence of Bhelen's blackmail (as well as his forgeries he'd tried to get Haldis to peddle during her quest) and turns it over to the Shaperate. They confirm that the seal used to blackmail the "witnesses" against Reina was Bhelen's and when Haldis returns with the Crown of the Deep she gives it to Reina instead of either Harrowmont or Bhelen. When Bhelen accuses her of being a stupid Duster she has the Shaper confirm his repeated fraud and get's Bhelen removed from the Memories instead. Of course that's when Bhelen rebels. Headcanon does require actions outside of the possibilities of the game on occasion.
There are more occasions. In the Battle of Denerim, his best speech is surprisingly deep: "You took in a drunken disgrace of an Orzammar warrior. You gave me the reason to fight and the will to keep going. You helped me find the one woman in the sodding world who might put up with me, and you helped me get past Branka so I could have someone new. I owe you a lot, Warden. I consider it a fine honor to die for you and your cause. Oghren: Let the Stone turn red from the blood of heroes. Today I will be the warrior you taught me to be."
but it makes me so MAD. Like, getting this scene requires you to take him places. Which at this point of the game the average player doesn't even consider anymore because he's *the actual worst* the other 98% of the time.
Salocinist no? I’ve never had a problem leveling him correctly, I go to Orzammar first, pick him up, get him out of my party so he doesn’t glitch out when I leave, and go get Wynne, I get both of them around level 8, Zevran is the worst half the time since you have to have completed a main quest to get him By the time anyone completes anything, they are closer to level 11, he is the worst out of all of the companions auto-level wise, I should know, I have done Infinity XP in Ostagar many times, he is always the worst since he doesn’t have Lockpicking, has zero strength and like 50 cunning Everyone else levels somewhat OK, not him Lots of people go to the Circle to get Wynne first, the reason I get Oghren is (assuming you leave Lothering at level 8) you have to do 2 quests for whoever you are supporting to get him, that alone is quite a bit of XP, add the Circle of Magi to that and you will be level 13 or so, just over half the level cap I’m good enough leveling that I can save most people except Loghain Ultimately, it’s more of a toss up of getting Shale or Oghren first, not Wynne or Oghren first I truly don’t understand why people save Orzammar for Last then complain the companion they got there is auto leveled to shit, do the Brecillan Forest last! If you get Oghren then leave Orzammar (not with him in your party cuz you will bug him out), go get Shale, then go get Wynne and do the Circle of Magi, you just grabbed 3 companions you would usually complain about at around level 9-10 Everyone can be saved if you know the tricks of the game (cough cough loghain can’t cough)
Interestingly enough idk if this is a glitch or not, but when I played through this section as a Human Noble I purposely chose "my answers are my own" and after the usual comments about how the Warden's silence says volumes Wynne and Alistair and even Sten all said things like "the past is the past, let it go, don't blame yourself". I'm not sure if that was a glitch or if they did that on purpose because they could kind of tell the Warden did feel guilty about the massacre of their family, even if they acted stoic about it and gave a vague answer. I also got + approval from Sten, so I guess he likes it if the Warden acts stoic in response to the Guardian's question lol.
Jade Empire is the worst, only allowed to have 1, Kotor did way better with 2, Mass Effect had the same, Origins went to 3, and nothing had changed since
So andraste says she spoke to the maker with absolutely no evidence to back her up and everyone looses their minds and praise her. Leliana does it and she must be lying? Who did the maker tell that he gave up on them if andraste was dead? And spirits know even less about the maker than humans do. So who is the guarding to claim leliana is lying?
Andraste apparently also performed miracles and was insanely charismatic. My hunch is she was a mage and probably a host to a powerful spirit. Heck, maybe even a blood mage who controlled others into loving her.

Oh he was likely going to, but Morrigan being Morrigan, ain't gonna let someone spill her secret plan.
Alistair and Sten are ones to talk lol 😂 Having not let go of THEIR* past failures. Morrigan kills me with that first line 😆
How were you able to have Amell and Mahariel in the party as well? That is epic!
Mod, probably.
Dude pulled up to The Gauntlet with half of Ferelden behind him
Why is it always spirits of the divine that want to know all of my personal life?
was privacy not a thing back then?
One of my favourite parts in Dragon Age. And the Guardian's voice is so calming & soothing.
Nobody will tell me Oghren's not the coolest character
Wow, the guardian went on full out assault against Lelliana! Poor girl.
Morrigan shit him down, though! That's the witch we know and love!
This is a f***ing reality check for everyone
Oh DAMN why we can't make Morrigan to questioned? Somehow i can't imagine that Morrigan ever regret anything.
If it's a mod, I'd LOVE to add it to my collection.
wow u really rollin up with the whole squad
The way the Guardian speaks remind me of the Shadow Selves in Persona 4!!!
You had more than one Warden? My head canon has all 6, it makes for and interesting continuum in subsequent games.
But who has the time to wade through the dogshit game dragon age 2
With Oghren this is the only time he ever opens up
There are more occasions. In the Battle of Denerim, his best speech is surprisingly deep:
"You took in a drunken disgrace of an Orzammar warrior.
Today I will be the warrior you taught me to be."
...Christ Oghren. Where was this honesty during your character quests.
Adds so much to his character, and you really see that behind the drunk gross and funny shell dwarf, there is a man sadder than many
but it makes me so MAD. Like, getting this scene requires you to take him places. Which at this point of the game the average player doesn't even consider anymore because he's *the actual worst* the other 98% of the time.
Salocinist no? I’ve never had a problem leveling him correctly, I go to Orzammar first, pick him up, get him out of my party so he doesn’t glitch out when I leave, and go get Wynne, I get both of them around level 8, Zevran is the worst half the time since you have to have completed a main quest to get him
By the time anyone completes anything, they are closer to level 11, he is the worst out of all of the companions auto-level wise, I should know, I have done Infinity XP in Ostagar many times, he is always the worst since he doesn’t have Lockpicking, has zero strength and like 50 cunning
Everyone else levels somewhat OK, not him
Lots of people go to the Circle to get Wynne first, the reason I get Oghren is (assuming you leave Lothering at level 8) you have to do 2 quests for whoever you are supporting to get him, that alone is quite a bit of XP, add the Circle of Magi to that and you will be level 13 or so, just over half the level cap
I’m good enough leveling that I can save most people except Loghain
Ultimately, it’s more of a toss up of getting Shale or Oghren first, not Wynne or Oghren first
I truly don’t understand why people save Orzammar for Last then complain the companion they got there is auto leveled to shit, do the Brecillan Forest last! If you get Oghren then leave Orzammar (not with him in your party cuz you will bug him out), go get Shale, then go get Wynne and do the Circle of Magi, you just grabbed 3 companions you would usually complain about at around level 9-10
Everyone can be saved if you know the tricks of the game
(cough cough loghain can’t cough)
"Dodan hold the fort everyones heading out"
Andraste herself desired a Roastmaster 5000 Supreme Edition, and he came as a guardian of her sacred ashes.
I wish you could have more than three party members at a time in any Bioware game.
Jade Empire is the worst, only allowed to have 1, Kotor did way better with 2, Mass Effect had the same, Origins went to 3, and nothing had changed since
So fucking epic.
So. Fucking. Epic.

Zev LOL
oghren have never sounded so.... sober
Wait...what does the guardian says to the Dwarf wardens?
NekoSoren Not to mention the city elf Warden. My playthrough was city elf: Assassin and Duelist
Guardian asks the City Elf if he/she has failed his/her cousin Shanni by leaving her in the Alienage.
I only played as Dwarf Noble (Trian was already dead when i arrived, i didnt kill him in a fight)
The Guardian asks you if regret Trians death or something like that :D
@@astralaris8712 I wish a Dwarf Noble could place the crown on their own head.
@@Kalenz1234 Jeez yea, expecially when you play the other origins and realize Bhelen is the better ruler, as a Noble you have 0 reason to trust anything anyone related to Bhelen.
I haven't gone this far with all origins, but when playing as a human noble I pretty much teared up when I saw Bryce afterwards.
Can you do a video with the "people" you meet after the riddles for all the origins? Or can someone point me to one?
no dog scene huh? Damn. lol. I know he would not have been able to contribute anything, but it would have been entertaining nonetheless.
-siigh- THUMBS UP IF YOU MISS ORIGINS!!
no as I stil play it in th emiddle of one right now in fact
What kind of console command did you use to add the other origins as companions???? Can't find it anywhere
Agreed! I need to know this as well. Not just the other origins, but the other companions being present as well. My canon tale requires all my other origin characters to be companions.
What mods did you use for these videos? The characters are diffcult to find and not to mention the whole party conversing and my three favorite Origins at the same time.
Your Leliana look so pretty
why are all the characters there? i thought only 3 can be in your party
The glorious power of mods.
Does anyone else feel your heart and soul feel heavy?😔
This is the part I always bring Organ for
I love Mahariel's answer. :D
Whos Mahariel?
@@marcoboscarol2420 The Dalish Elf Origin character, his/her surname is Mahariel
Leliana's questioning is incredibly satisfying, she was so annoying in Origins, became a badass in Inquisition though.
howd you get all the companions in the same room like that?
Okay I have to know what mod you use for the multiple companions
Hello! Could you share name of mod or link for Leliana's look? Thank you in advance.
How are you playing with 3 origins at once, which mod is this?
and what mod did you use to have all the companions at once? I've already used a command that allows you to do that, but every time one of them spoke, the screen bugged and didn't show any of them.
It’s very weird how accusatory and aggressive the guardian gets to Leliana here. The rest of the cast he’s very neutral even respectful & compassionate. But it is so odd he shames Leliana for her beliefs. Maybe he’s right in that she was unconsciously coping with idea of being a nobody but there feels like some sort of bias or intent his tone with her but not with others
Is there any way to bring all companions like you did on Xbox 360?
how tf did u play multiple wardens?
How did you get that many party members around while still having their lines featured (zz_addparty doesn't allow that) and how did you get multiple pc characters present at the same time?
Mods
he chose...poorly
Should have brought a Dr. Pepper!
Who is your warden? The guy who has a short black hair or the guy with long suave hair? And who is that other character behind you on your right side?
***** She has three wardens, the short dark hair in the heavy armor is the Cousland, the Long suave hair is Amell, The guy in the rogue armor is the Dalish Warden so she has three wardens
Morrigan: Begone spirit I won't play your games!
Rest of the party 😲 why we didn't say the same thing?
How did you get the mage dalish and human wardens? Like what mod is that?
please tell me where to download the mod to have everyone at once in your party
what does he say to the dog ?
Dog is perfect. Why would he question perfection?
Mabari.. you are a good boi
How? how you get other origins characters as companions? please its mod or cheat? please tell me,i like play with my other characters in one game :)
Wow ... You do notice that the origins characters are standing on the exact same spot? What a coincidence , one would surely think he has edited the video in a movie editor but that cannot be , for an individual would need...
a fucking functioning brain to see that , Jesus fucking Christ. No offense to Christians.
If you notice the opening shot, all the companions are there. So he probably modded the game a little.
+Twin2K Rude much.
How did u get your warrior and Mage and acher only one becomes a grey warden what did u do and pretty plz answer I wanna know
what mods did you use for your elf?
how did you get a full party?
How in the world did you get all your companions to accompany you into the Gauntlet??
I wonder what he would have asked Morrigan?
"Do you really think giving birth to an old god is wise?"
Does anybody know the armor mods for the wardens?
Whaaaaaat?! It's possible to have Jowan in the party?
Almost anything is possible with mods.
Actually I think you don't even need mods for Jowan. If I remember right there was a console command to add him to the party.
He was a part cut off, BioWare was going have him possibly him recruit depending on the warden’s choices.
How did you gather all companions + 2 add main charactyer in one mission?
Why can I imagine a scenario in which a Female Mage Warden is reminded about Cullens fate? "Tell me...did you fail Cullen?". The reflection-for-moving-on thingy would've been gut-wrenching.
thomas brady: He's actually a pretty cool guy in Inquisition, though from what I've read online he deserves his reputation of being a massive jerk in earlier games.
thomas brady: *facepalm**shakes head* That's all I have left to do...
HOW?! Did you manage this?!
Is this including several origin player characters?
Wait, there's a mod where you can all companions at once?
wtf.. so many mods.. lmao.. i just use the skip the fade one.. what mods are you using?
How do I get all party comments?
How do u get that many people?
