I rode out there May of last year and found the gate inside the mine vandalized. It appeared to be recent from the tools left behind. I reported it to the Arizona State Mine Inspector's Office, but apparently they haven't been able to fix it yet. In the meantime, people should avoid any temptations to enter - thanks for noting the two past deaths in this mine as an example of the danger. And thanks again for another great video - the references at the end are a nice touch too!
I love visiting this place, Nice side by side ride, beautiful view of Tonopah from the top of the mine, also love all of the Eagle eyes, great photo ops, signed the notebook in the Eagle eye
We've been watching your videos for about a year, and we love the laid-back style and thoroughness of research you do on the mines and their history. Thank you for putting these videos together. Looking forward to seeing the next one!
Might not of been me? My Jeep had been parked for 2-3 weeks before this comment while I was working on some electrical/battery stuff. It's back up & running now, I'll keep an eye out for you!
Been exploring and quail hunting in that area off and on since the mid '80s. Ventured inside the Belmont many times before it was blocked off. Interesting information! Where did you find it?
Great video, but people die all the time, but it doesn't stop me. For instance, driving out in the desert by myself, which I do every weekend. I rather die in a mine shaft then at work sitting at my desk never living 😅😅 seriously great video
Thank you for the adventure and link to Glys video .👍Cjd wash state p.s. new sub here thanks again .🇺🇸⛏️
I am waiting to watch this tomorrow AM with my donut and coffee.....Hurray for the weekend. Can hardly wait!

Great video! Thanks!
Nice documentation of these mines! It was great that you returned a few years after your initial visit to do this.
Great video. I’m headed up there next week for SAR training.

Another great and interesting video! I really do love seeing the rocks, their formations and color. Good job Scotty!
Good one Scotty. I agree w/Frank, you did your homework. I was up to the Belmont area a few years back, will revisit it after summer.
I think I saw you on Dysart Rd again. Flashed my lights @ you. I now drive a dark gray Grand Cherokee.
