  • Just a few miles northeast of Wickenburg along an easy dirt road sits the abandoned Monte Christo Mine. There's lots to explore in the surrounding area and among the several structures that stand today.

    I own the Monte Cristo Lode Mine and the Copper Belt across the road which is a Private Patented Property and the the Gold Bar also is Private Patented Property along with the houses on the property. I bought the Monte Cristo Mine from the Previous owner in 2015 and ppl keep stealing all the signs and cutting the lock off the entrance cable. Ppl can park at the cable and walk in. Driving on the road is damaging the tunnels under the road that I'm working in

      @@frankoller6824 what do you mean Closed Constellation Rd? It's open. It's a Public Road. I'm going out now to Weld the Cable up on the Entrance Road. The road is collapsing into the tunnel below and I Refuse to fix it anymore so ppl can tear up the Mine and Shoot up there.

      @@garystout8224 that's great for you but I am not liking the blm. At the moment I could look up current information 4 yr ago and now they are saying mark and pay for the claim but they didn't say anything about money back if not approved. Do you have any information about this..because people who have farm lease don't have mining claim but I have been told that I am claim jumping on farm leased land

      @@dmorgan5010 not true you can claim on any other land if not already a claim. You have to mark the exact area that you made the mineral discovery and take pics of the mineral and get an assay of it to prove it's value. They own the land but not what's under. You can claim the mineral if you can prove it's there

    This place is off-limits now. It has a new owner and he is not letting people go out there at all is very serious and carries a rifle. That's if you can even get past them bees that are in the witch-house now. Can't even get within 20 feet of that place without being attacked do not go there

    • @NuggetHeads
      @NuggetHeads 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Off limits? I disagree. It's Bureau of Land Management land. Someone may have a mining claim there, but it's unpatented ground. The claimant only has the right to extract minerals. They do not have the right to stop anyone else doing any legal activity and they do not own the land.

      @@NuggetHeads I believe you are absolutely correct. This private property b.s. seems to be a common misconception amongst claim holders of unpatented mines. The claim holder carries a rifle? I carry a handgun. Tired of this b.s..

      @@AbandonedMines11 I went there he wasn't there we explored the area looks like he is a desert squatter living up there. I carry a firearm no need to escalate with these guys just go back call the Sheriff's office tell them he threatened you with a gun even better just use a video camera if he comes out angry holding a rifle in his hands that is brandishing since he is not the owner. Not that I'm afraid of defending myself but you never know what can happen in these deceive political times were in legal trouble isn't worth it let the sheriff deal with them.
