They're short a fifth member at this time, and have been for a while. In fact, when this video was made, they were down _two_ official members; Cesar hadn't formally joined the group yet.
Probably the closest you're going to find to a 'fifth member' right now is J.None, who is a former member but is currently serving with the Navy; he returns often to perform with them as a guest, and a lot of us have our fingers crossed he may return permanently when his tour is up, but nothing is certain. You've seen him before in their cover of Hellfire and (with an earlier VoicePlay lineup) in Oogie Boogie's song. If you'd like to see more of him, I highly recommend their covers of Nothing Else Matters, In The Air Tonight, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and Man In the Mirror.
As for their other guests, yes, many of them are friends and colleagues. Rachel Potter is a former co-worker who goes way back with the group; Ashley Diane is a friend of Cesar; Jose Rosario Jr. went to school with him and Omar Cardona is his roommate, but they had both worked with VoicePlay previously; EJ Cardona is Omar's brother; Cesar's brother Cesar Augusto has sung with them; Adriana Arellano is the daughter of a friend, and so on. I don't know the details for every guest artist, but I suspect that most if not all of them travel in the same professional and social circles in one capacity or another.
J None is no longer considered part of the group but we all hope that once he is out of the Navy he will rejoin! Some great videos with the current lineup that he is "featured" are Nothing Else Matters originally by Metalica, Valhalla Calling by Miracle of Sound, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame.

So by the 5th member I believe you're talking about J None. But there was also Earl Elkins Jr (high tenor and founder of thegroupwith Geoff and Layne) and Tony Wakim (Baritone before J None, also co owne of PattyCake Productions with Layne).
