I would like to see this test on a more modern 911 turbo s, since the small differences can be also caused by grip levels. Also, the fastest car is the most difficult to measure differences on. You might see bigger differences on a heavier awd car.

the instant power of the supercharger is spun away at the wheels, whereas the lag in the turbo gives you time to put the engines power down. i think if you redid this test on stock engines the 0-60 times will be as you would expect

According to ISAD, the 3.5l V6 (Raptor Engine) for the RSR makes it even more broken. He tested it on Apollo 10 and managed to get around a 2-3 second difference with the 3.6l V6, at least that's what I remember..
I would always get a turbo when i do a sprint race and a dual turbo in circuit because the dual turbo in sprint races was awful (the bot in 1st place was unreachable but when i got my single turbo no prob)
Depends what I'm doing really. I always spec with a single turbo because I like the sound better and it gives higher top speed but I keep a dual turbo in my inventory so I can slap it on in case I wanna drag someone or do a race with tight turns
Honestly Ive seen that the single one.starts working after 6k rpm so my advice to you is that if the car shifts above 6k rpm use single. If not use dual.
I was looking at the stats when i was modding my C6 Zo6, i saw that TT was better than the superchargers and single turbo. I used bought TT and ultimately the C6 Zo6 was my fastest car. I had only Super and Super+ parts. That n track parts made my yellow C6 surpass 220mph till i bought more parts for the other cars. Id personally jus go w stats.

Glad I'm ot the only one that noticed this blatant disregard for how performance parts should actually work. Also i wouldn't beat myself up too much for not being that great on this game. I've been playing racing games way back since California Rush and Gran Turismo. GT was the best simulator out there a d was far different from Ridge Racer, Need For Sleed, and Midnight Club. But because I was so used to mastering games like GT. Project Gotham Racing, and Forza, I've always struggled with the over exaggerated mechanics of NFS, MC, and others like them. This game to me is far more difficult being that the mechanics are so off. Cars react super quickly at high speeds,and if you go off road sometimes the out come could be catastrophic, and don't hit another car or be hit by someone else! My biggest problem is the feeling of high speeds in this game, the screen seems to vibrate a bit and things get a but blurry. Its little wierd. But hey it IS an arcade style game... And it does look soooo pretty!

Personally each aspiration type has its own advantages and draw backs two turboes smaller but easier response time Big turbo takes quite a bit more time but it makes the difference and then there is superchargers which just make a lot of noise and power all at the same time whichever one is necessary take a pick😂
Im agree my friends normal turbo in we need in Drift mod cars, for me, i love to Drift, like in Nfs UnderGround 2, in Pc, it depends on the Car we choose,, thats all,,😄
I remember in NFSMW npc traffic cars at least tried to dodge you when you were at high speed or stop when youre in the middle of the road,now they hit you if youre stopped for a second in the highway

@@soldierx345 I'd only pro charge a vette or mustang. I'd leave the Superchargers to the bigger bodied muscle cars aka challenger, camaro, firebirds etc.. also would pro charge a charger.
I've found the superchargers have different use cases that they are more effective in than the others where as the dual and single turbos are almost universal. Like the roots is more effective on the 5.7 in the trans am than the screw due to rpm limits. Roots is useful for 6k rpms and below then the screw is more useful for 6 to 7k and the procharger is only good for 7 and up.

Super charger is more lower end boost and I’m pretty sure it give you more torque but it’s doesn’t pull as hard in the long wrong correct me if I’m wrong

Yeah NFS15 had so much different variations of wastegate sounds, guess those were removed. And without the pressure gauge that NFS15 had, its not fun...
A 1/4 mile is front back of patch to back of patch also the speed traps close to the dealership are a 1/4 mile apart and it records your speed for you 👀
6RIE I’ve played forza horizon 2,3,4 on all the max settings and I’ve played racing games for years now. I don’t think it’s impossible. Just know your racing lines, tune your car right and know how to drive. 🤷🏻♂️

I use a different "turbo" depending on my car class, for example my drift cars has got the screw compressor, the night race cars has got the single turbo and so on; so i use all of them, including the natural aspiration on the offroaders.

You could also try starting at near-redline by throttling your inputs before starting. It might be possible to achieve those 0-60 stats by keeping the wheels from spinning with red-lining the engine.
I’ve primarily been using turbo and one thing Ive noticed is that the duel turbo seems to offer better recovery from 90* turns and a faster recovery from hitting things with my crappy driving. However my low end cars seem to suffer from having more speed potential than what the car is actually capable of achieving. The single turbo seems to not only help reach the top end speeds sooner but actually increase the maximum achievable speeds altogether. Im wondering if there is a way to test these two variables and see what effects the different options have when put into realistic situations. Does the optimum choice change on a bend vs a 90* turn vs U-turn vs a straight away? Or do they all perform equally in these areas as well? How could i test each turbo in each situation to see if it makes any difference? And are your results being skewed by the overwhelming power of nitrous? Do the numbers reflect similar results without nitrous?
Omg I think you and I think alike! My brain is also going crazy over these things which is why I had to simplify the video to just a straight line. Testing the turbos on curves relies to heavily on driver skill to really come up with accurate results. I did test these turbos without nitrous and the results were the same (meaning the dual turbo was better in general). Obviously the times were slower because I wasn’t spraying but the difference in times were almost exactly the same. I just didn’t record any of that footage so the nitro made it in the video. I do think the single turbo can help early game cars overcome top speed issues which can be beneficial in some races but when the car is fully upgraded with ultimate+ parts, the dual turbo always runs faster time from my experience. @@MilitiaGamingCommunity Forza is definitely more sim than nfs but as for active communities, I'd argue that the sim racing community is much more vast than forza motorsport's current community. Assetto Corsa's been out there for a while now but mods are keeping it alive. Heck, iracing requires a paid subscription but the experience is worth it for some. You're certainly right about forza being more realistic than NFS, but the way I think of it is like this: NFS is an arcade racer and so is forza horizon, albeit it is more realistic. I'd call gran turismo and forza motorsport simcade and something like rfactor 2 a sim. If you have the money to spare, buying a wheel and a real racing sim is worth it. If you're tight on money, I suggest getting Raceroom (which is free but requires money for more content) and a logitech wheel setup. You won't be disappointed.

Ngl, after watching this, I feel disappointed. I was hoping to use my hellcat with a supercharger for racing or drag. Darn it need for speed just had to ruin it. Most builds now rely on dual turbo and it ticks me off so much. This is one of the reasons why I play FH4/5 (Forza Horizon) but overall I still like need for speed haha
You're not wrong. I did test them at high speed...the single turbo provides the car with more power at top end but BARELY. This setup I was running topped out at 237Mph for both the single and double turbo. Thanks for watching!
You definitely add variables to this test... you spamming the nos can make those hundreds of a second difference.. ur saying ur test is reliable and all about the turbus but like this its not. the slightest error and whoops the time gets better/worse...

I go with what I would irl. For example, I'd supercharge a mustang or challenger but I would turbo or twin turbo a civic or lambo

@@soldierx345 I'd only pro charge a vette or mustang. I'd leave the Superchargers to the bigger bodied muscle cars aka challenger, camaro, firebirds etc.. also would pro charge a charger.

I've found the superchargers have different use cases that they are more effective in than the others where as the dual and single turbos are almost universal. Like the roots is more effective on the 5.7 in the trans am than the screw due to rpm limits. Roots is useful for 6k rpms and below then the screw is more useful for 6 to 7k and the procharger is only good for 7 and up.

Single turbo: Best for peak horsepower
Twin Turbo: Best overall
Supercharger: Best for drift and top speed
Super charger is more lower end boost and I’m pretty sure it give you more torque but it’s doesn’t pull as hard in the long wrong correct me if I’m wrong
I usually use a supercharger for the instant power delivery. It helps to get the back end out better if I’m taking a corner quick
My only issue is not being able to turn off traffic and not a decent straight FLAT highway to go all out on for accurate testing.

I swapped to dual turbo because it has an acceleration bonus over the single turbo. I guess I was right to do so.
A 1/4 mile is front back of patch to back of patch also the speed traps close to the dealership are a 1/4 mile apart and it records your speed for you 👀

I use a different "turbo" depending on my car class, for example my drift cars has got the screw compressor, the night race cars has got the single turbo and so on; so i use all of them, including the natural aspiration on the offroaders.

You could also try starting at near-redline by throttling your inputs before starting. It might be possible to achieve those 0-60 stats by keeping the wheels from spinning with red-lining the engine.

I’ve primarily been using turbo and one thing Ive noticed is that the duel turbo seems to offer better recovery from 90* turns and a faster recovery from hitting things with my crappy driving. However my low end cars seem to suffer from having more speed potential than what the car is actually capable of achieving. The single turbo seems to not only help reach the top end speeds sooner but actually increase the maximum achievable speeds altogether. Im wondering if there is a way to test these two variables and see what effects the different options have when put into realistic situations. Does the optimum choice change on a bend vs a 90* turn vs U-turn vs a straight away? Or do they all perform equally in these areas as well? How could i test each turbo in each situation to see if it makes any difference? And are your results being skewed by the overwhelming power of nitrous? Do the numbers reflect similar results without nitrous?
Omg I think you and I think alike! My brain is also going crazy over these things which is why I had to simplify the video to just a straight line. Testing the turbos on curves relies to heavily on driver skill to really come up with accurate results. I did test these turbos without nitrous and the results were the same (meaning the dual turbo was better in general). Obviously the times were slower because I wasn’t spraying but the difference in times were almost exactly the same. I just didn’t record any of that footage so the nitro made it in the video. I do think the single turbo can help early game cars overcome top speed issues which can be beneficial in some races but when the car is fully upgraded with ultimate+ parts, the dual turbo always runs faster time from my experience. @@MilitiaGamingCommunity Forza is definitely more sim than nfs but as for active communities, I'd argue that the sim racing community is much more vast than forza motorsport's current community. Assetto Corsa's been out there for a while now but mods are keeping it alive. Heck, iracing requires a paid subscription but the experience is worth it for some. You're certainly right about forza being more realistic than NFS, but the way I think of it is like this: NFS is an arcade racer and so is forza horizon, albeit it is more realistic. I'd call gran turismo and forza motorsport simcade and something like rfactor 2 a sim. If you have the money to spare, buying a wheel and a real racing sim is worth it. If you're tight on money, I suggest getting Raceroom (which is free but requires money for more content) and a logitech wheel setup. You won't be disappointed.

Ngl, after watching this, I feel disappointed. I was hoping to use my hellcat with a supercharger for racing or drag. Darn it need for speed just had to ruin it. Most builds now rely on dual turbo and it ticks me off so much. This is one of the reasons why I play FH4/5 (Forza Horizon) but overall I still like need for speed haha
I like to believe that the single turbo builds a lot of boost at high speed. And still think I ain't wrong. We like the big boii boost 💪🏽
You're not wrong. I did test them at high speed...the single turbo provides the car with more power at top end but BARELY. This setup I was running topped out at 237Mph for both the single and double turbo. Thanks for watching!

You definitely add variables to this test... you spamming the nos can make those hundreds of a second difference.. ur saying ur test is reliable and all about the turbus but like this its not. the slightest error and whoops the time gets better/worse...
