I have a story I would like you to know With regard to my black ancestors, one of whom fought in the U.S. Civil war. His wife was a slave girl in Louisiana for a prominent Hotel owner. He took the entire family to Boston and freed them all. I have more information about them if you're interested.
Hi Karen! Can you send me an email at BlackGemsUnearthed@gmail.com? I'd love to hear it.
