This is my home town born in raised in the AUB!!!!! I miss home. I been here so many times with my dad pastor Oliver Thomas. It is really an amazing place to see. She was a powerful strong woman.
Thank you for sharing this lovely information about this very honorable woman, Harriet Tubman. I love & admire this woman she is my inspiration. I learned of her when the movie Roots came out I was 14 yrs. old, and I promised myself no matter how many kids I have they will all watch this movie, not only because it is an important part of history, also we could and should all learn something from this and their experience. I had 3 daughters and watched it with all three of them so they would know and understand not only their reality, struggle, also their pain. It's wise to understand different people, different cultures, and different lifestyles that's what brings us together. Rest Peacefully Harriet Tubman 💕
RIP Harriet Tubman
This is much appreciated. She was God's gift to America.
It doesn’t matter that she couldn’t read or write! She had worldly knowledge like what we call today street smarts! Plus common sense always helps to when you need it! Thanks so much for sharing that information about Harriet Tubman David! She led a very helpful life! 🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🙏🏻
Reverend, you did an excellent job for Harriet. Thanks & blessings to you.
That was lovely thank you. Her inspiration to me is ever unfolding as I learn more about her. I love she bought the land, 32 acres no less. Truly blessed for her loving service to humanity. A great spirit come among us in a small package. 2nd Moses.
Beautifully said.. 🇦🇺💜💚
One of my favorite quotes from her "I had reasoned this one in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.
Thanks for sharing this!! This will be on my list of places to visit.
Such an incredible historic landmark. 🖤
She was only 4'11?! That woman will always blow my mind. Such a warrior.
She was also a disabled woman.
What an honor to have heard this on this site. I read one of the comments that said, “This was never taught in school”. That is so true. But I am glad that we have social media and we are able to become more literate to the truth. It is a blessing to hear true positive stories like these. I certainly do not want to be illiterate of our past. Thank you for sharing the truth. God bless.
Excellent post!! Thank you for sharing this.
I learned more about the life of Harriet Tubman in this video than I ever did in school. A courageous & strong woman. I ask myself on many days...do I have the strength to stand & be counted? Do I have the strength to stand for what is right & just? Hearing about those throughout history who risked their lives for a cause helps guide me.
Her story is the epitome of “David and Goliath”. Her small frame, but large spirit conquered slavery! Now, she is what you call a legend! Rest easy 💗
I need more stories like this
Maravilhada com a história dessa mulher guerreira 👏👏👏💚💛🇧🇷
She is one of my Forever Hero’s! She has always been near and dear to my Heart! Since I was a Child I have Loved her and Researched her, learning all that I could and can about her! I have been born and raised in Maryland and I am proud to share a state with her! She is a True World Hero!💜🤟🏻❤️

No words to describe her that haven't already been said. Simply magnificent...
Thank you Reverend for sharing Harriet T. Davis’s history with us. She was an amazing woman. ❤️🙏
I had no idea about this! What a beautiful place she had, and what an amazing human being she was! I’ve always respected her, even though I’m white, for all that she did, and am grateful that this place has been cared for in her memory. Definitely adding this to my bucket list for sure!
What an incredible woman. To know how much more she accomplished with her life, makes her legacy even more amazing!!!
Thank you, dante luna 🕊 Harriet Tubman-Davis is the greatest American and the Rev. Carter speaks on her eloquently. Her memory is a BLESSING 🙏🏾
God bless our ancestors 🙏🏿
This is a beautiful homestead. God blessed her and I’m sure she’s up there singing with God. What a wonderful Lady
She's my guardian angel I've been told. She watches over me and has adopted me as one of her own. I really want to visit her home. Due to COVID might not be able to this summer. I do know I'd become emotional she's someone I can't wait to meet in the afterlife
How did you manage to find out?
She is at rest 🤍 you have an angel for sure, given to you by God himself. Harriet is in heaven.
I am in England and its going to be in the cards for me also. I have a little daughter, i just need to find hotels not far from there . I like that BHM month niche stories are being recommended to me all year round . I worked so hard to mold my main page to the image of our ancestors , there is soul and melanin on 90% of my recommendations.
