Thanks to China , Phones are peanuts now in Africa , I went to an African Village and Saw Flat Screen TV in villagers houses ... Believe me , without China , these will not afford Western flat screen TV. People in Africa have phones with 2 sims , women in the Village markets have a tablet with a Sim card .. God Bless and Protect China

So true, but not just for African people. Even those living in western countries who are earning average wages without their own house wouldn't be able to afford mobile phones, TVs and other household appliances, which would be considered as luxuries if they weren't made in china.

In China, the phones aren't the only dirt cheap commodities with good quality. Take vehicles for example, which ranges from $500 to $30,000. I think that differentiates China from the rest of the liberal capitalist nations, especially the West. In China, products are made to be affordable. In the West, products are made to gain profit as high as possible

People thought that the Chinese government and people would like to express special thanks for Mr. Sachs's clear praise of the benefits of China's economic development to the world. World trade is an unprecedented conflict that is particularly struggling with the greatest political challenges of our time, starting from the unipolarity of Western countries in contrast to the multipolarity of China that drives international trade. His words succinctly explain how China's economic development makes Western governments and peoples awaken. China's economy has been developing achievements in many aspects of contributions to the world for decades. He rightly hopes that all Western countries will take this emerging multipolarity seriously. They will be happy to play the roles they agreed to disagree with to ease political tensions. Regarding the controversial arguments between a win-win and a zero-sum game, many scholars will worry that either idea will ultimately undermine the implications of global trade growth in the wake of many developing countries suffering from economic recession. Protectionism does not have to be dual to trigger tariff policy.

Professor Sachs. Have you ever done business in China? As a business owner that manufactures machines for the food industry and that has spent millions on developing deboning machines for chicken, I can tell you it quite deflationary to see a 100% copy of various machines I used my money for to develop. I mean every electrical component, every pneumatic component, every nut and bolt. What is even more concerning is that as a western supplier you have 0 chance of defending your intellectual property in China. So before you go on a Chinese propaganda interview why don’t you go do some business in China and than come back on the same network. My trust and respect for Chinese business ethics is about as wide as their slanted little eyes. The west is waking up and realizing that China is a not an equal business partner and does not adhere to the same ethics as we do in the Western world. The legal system is designed to protect Chinese companies and they heavily subsidize their business to undercut prices and competitiveness.

There are around 34 "ports" in China for naval shipping. How many are built to serve "container traffic" being the usual means of export and import? When were those ports built, and who provided design and finance for all these ports built after 1972? You should know a lot about that, Professor Sachs. How much have you gained financially, helping China to destroy the expensive Western Labor that resulted from your assistance?

@@choifayue9848 You are dreaming. I know an economist who made a fortune in China, the industrial expansion of China did NOT happen by itself, and USA was deeply involved, with other Western countries in "Trade Deals" like WTO to enable exports and imports from China. The container ports were ALL "New Technology" as the containers themselves were a new feature in global trading, and a whole infrastructure needed to be built from the outset. Look up "History of Container Transportation Industry." Trade Lawyers, Accountants and Economists all benefitted from a NEW Industrial Nation in China being built from nothing.

There are 800 american bases all over the world, most of it surrounding China and guarding the most important sea lane "choke" points so they can squeeze china in times of trouble or war. China doesn't have their fleets roaming around the world and only have one base outside China (in Djibouti) to help in the piracy problem. The US treats the seven seas as theirs. There is no way you can compare the two nation, the US spends about 4x that of the chinese defense budget. You do know the US have a defense budget that is more than the total combined of the next ten nation budgets, don't you?

It wasn't China courting American corporations , it was the greed , and not wanting to pay its workers fairly , and wanting to freely polute our planet so they could turn a profit , the only entity helping China dominate was American greed . And they want to dismantle the dept of education , elong you twat , they got you programmed to believe their bullshit narrative about some great America that's always looking after the people's best interest , these people care nothing about you , Thier only God is $.
