My screen is completely unresponsive. It will not respond to touch commands. I've tried multiple hard resets but no joy. It's dead I think.
I have tried several times, it just doesn't work and I am becoming to be frustrated 😞

OMG This was fantastic! I worked with Tech online and it was hard to tell if I was doing it right, which I wasn't. They wanted me to replace it, which it wasn't under warranty. I tried this as a last effort and the detailed video was so great I was able to reset my Versa 3 and don't need to buy a new one. Thank you sooooo much!

This tutorial should be the number 1 search result for doing a hard reset on a Versa 3/4. I didn't know the Versa 3 method was at the end, so I tried the method for the 4 a few times 🙃 Fortunately, I got the 3 to reset on the first try.😄

Thanks. Versa 3. Asked for PIN. D/K it. Not synched. "It says "Unlock from your phone." Can't - not synched. Called customer service. Sent pictures. They tried to walk me through a factory reset. Could not do it without this video. (I tried another but it was no help). Thanks. Up and running after hours (over 2 days of effort and 2 hours on the phone).

Thank you so much for this video. I had a weird error on my Versa 3 where it would continue to say "Unavailable" some other other things I can't read on a purple screen(my screen is pretty busted at this point). After restarting I was able to enter my passcode but it still wouldn't work and my iPhone 11 lost Bluetooth. Thanks to this video I am able to use my watch again (which I only really for sleep tracking.. at least until I can finally replace or repair my Versa 3.

Thank you very much .I was losing my patience with my locked out versa 3..it took me a few tries, but I was able to reset my Fitbit..Fitbit support does not have this information.

Hey, thank you for this video it is very helpful. It keeps saying “Data not cleared. Sync and try again” but when i try to connect it, it comes up with the same error message of it being locked. This has happened about 5 times now

My versa 3 is stuck on the pairing mode. It keeps flashing the pairing icon with a slight vibration then blanks out with a line in the center then back to the pairing icon. Please help.

I have an ionic and woke up today to it saying that I need to unlock it with my phone, no problem. I go into the fitbit app and look for device lock tab, now there is a problem. The device lock tab on the app is no where to be seen and now I can't unlock my fitbit. I stupidly unpaired the fitbit and now I can't even pair it since I can't see the pairing pin that initiates with new devices because of the "unlock with your phone" prompt

Thank you but I'm still locked out of my device. My android phone can no longer see the Fitbit (despite turning Bluetooth on and off, restarting the phone, deleting the app and reinstalling it etc). I've contacted Fitbit support but am ready to throw it in the rubbish bin. Any tips you can provide would be appreciated.

Hi @Vivaan Reddy . I eventually had to factory reset my Versa 2. The problem I had, however, was that it wouldn't reset the way that everyone else seemed to be able to do theirs. I had to press down on the button for approximately 8 seconds until I saw a flash of a line across my screen, lift and press again until the Fitbit logo came up. I had to do this about 5 times before it actually worked.
Fitbit Versa 2 didn't use ever since buy around 2.5 year ago, now only turn on with charger, once remover from charger, blank screen / doesn't work at all. push side button doesn't work, if some one know what to Do?

Mine didn't work. I bought it brand new, and everything I try to connect all I get is a screen saying that the item was reported stolen or a replacement has already been issued. Ok man I did it. I'm gonna post instructions here.
Click the button and wait 8 sec. (You have no visible button but it is on the left in versa 3)
Screen turns off and you feel vibration - release the button and immediately click and hold it again.
Blue fitbit logo appears and when it disappears then you release the button and immediately click it and hold it again.
You feel vibration again but now longer. Screen is black, you can release the button and now the screen is black for like 30 seconds or longer, just wait and look. It will turn on ready to connect it to the new phone. It worked for me now on versa 3
I did about the same but couldn't post what I did beacause I didn't remember what I did.. i had a red X data not cleared.. but then I've been able to connect update and do a soft reset
