- If you encounter a situation where your fitbit sense/fitbit versa 3/versa lite edition/Fitbit Versa 2; just gets freeze & you cant do anything not even enter the menu than you really need to see this video. This video show 3 ways to actually hard/factory reset your watch to original factory setting, you can format or erase everything form the watch without even touch the screen. You can just delete the music from the watch without resting your watch.

Hi, thanks for the video. But i am not yet managed to reset my verse. the problem is that the screen is locked and it does not allow me to go to the applications you know how I can solve this?

I did that.....it now says (in MANY languages) that "to start download the Fitbit App". I already HAVE the app on my phone, but ok....I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it STILL says "to start download the Fitbit App"

I think here is what happened you formatted the watch but the watch is still linked to the Fitbit mobile app so you have to go & remove/delete the watch from the fitbit mobile app & then setup the watch as a new watch. Hope this makes sense. @@nicolelatham3034 I'm not sure which Versa you have, but I finally found a "tip" that fixed mine. When you press and hold the left button (I do not have a right button)...But when the screen goes black (Like it was going to reset), release the left button and then within a couple seconds re-press the left button and hold it. Don't know if it will work for you, but it worked for me! I found it in the community forum at the Fitbit site. Good Luck.

My Fitbit is doing something odd. Woke up and it’s stuck on the Fitbit logo. I’ve tried everything and it won’t reset.
@O P, thanks for watching & comment. Try soft reset by press holding left side button. If that does'nt work try reseting. If that does'nt work let the battery drain in a day or so since the screen is on dont charge it until battery is completely dead, than try charging & turning on & it should work. @Syr Hammer, thanks for watching & comment. Fitbit versa gets connected to the phone by Fitbit app and Fitbit app connects to your Fitbit account. So when you master reset your versa you go on the Fitbit app remove the versa & add another/new watch, the process is same as what you did when you first got the watch.hope this helps. method 2 isn't a factory reset, it just turns the watch off and back on. My problem is that I bought one for a friend, she somehow got it to lock out and says unlock with a phone yet she removed it from her app and cannot do this.
@D4m4g3d, thanks for watching & comment. My guess is you got your friend a versa with fitbit pay. The one I have reviewed on my videos does not have fitbit pay. Yeah but she removed the device because it wouldn't let he unlock from her phone and gave it to me to unlock for her, yet I cant because it wont pair, ive been all over the fitbit site and spoke to them and they are no help. Horrible service people over there.
@@D4m4g3d okay I get what you mean. I have one idea you can try & see if it works. If your friend connected the watch to a wifi network than you will be able to access the watch from a computer on the same wifi network. Check my this video at 2min 53 sec th-cam.com/video/KBcpN94Q5eE/w-d-xo.html
You will see a screen like that & than you can access the fit bit pay app & reset password & disable password. Hope this helps you. Good luck man.

@John Loyd09, thanks for watching & comment. Can I know which fitbit watch do you have. Ideally an X means that the watch is not completely formatted and it shows X because its not connected to the phone. You want to re establish the connection & try erasing/deleting from the phone.

I did factory reset my versa and then it didn’t turned on
@ISHAN srivastava, not sure what went wrong my guess is either your battery drained out and you need to charge or it just will take long to restart due to all updates and re pairing with new device. Method 2 just restarts the device. It is not a factory reset.
I reset my Fitbit versa (lite edition ) and doesn't work to turn on one more time help!!!

@Carolina Gonzales, this is strange, try to hold the hard key on left hand side for a min and see if it works. If that doesn't then contact fitbit about this and may be get a replacement from the. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for updating & hopefully your problem resolves.
