    Thank god ! I found your site!!
    I just today , trashed a big van idea to go touring in . Then I thought , gotta go with a Jerp? Then again the price for Jeep’s , and interior comfort . No thank you!
    So what else ids out there. The Porsche.
    So my background is primarily , sailing long distance, bicycle touring.
    Last all that changed I fought stage 4 cancer and won. Only problem is the damage done to my body. Primarily, neuropathy below my knees. Sailing and bicycle touring , not now and maybe never again. But I can drive.
    I’m 62, and looking forward to living a long life. Thanks for sharing what you have learned. Carl.

    Cheers Harrison, informative video. I'm at the crossroad between the euro wise roof rack and the front runner, I'm in the UK and frontrunner would be half the cost of the euro wise offering. I appreciate you have strong links with EW but considering the price margin, would spending double the price give me a superior roof rack? Or are you happy with the performance of the FR? I will be mounting the iKamper skycamp 2 on top. Cheers

    Stumbled on your channel and like the evaluations you provide even negative issues for a product that doesn't quite deliver or last as long as you hoped. I have a stock 2005 Touareg with the air suspension, and would like some recommendations on where to best start tricking out my rig. I like the air suspension so what should I start with? Eurowise lift?

    • @HarrisonSchoen
      @HarrisonSchoen  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would recommend first some sliders for the vehicle. Those in my opinion are most important! Then engine skid and lift after that. Eurowise is really the only option for your air suspension lift!

    • @MrTwosmokersonly
      @MrTwosmokersonly ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you on the protection bits to start with. looks like eurowise 3" lift with tubular a-arms and other small bits are roughly $1500. Any idea what tires work with the stock 18" 2005 touareg wheels 31" x ? x 18 or what size can be squeezed in the wheel wells, I'm in Florida so sand, mud, and clay mainly. Really appreciate the quick response, I really do appeciate your input.

    • @HarrisonSchoen
      @HarrisonSchoen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mounting a jerry can would be a bit tight, though eurowise has a rotopax option.
