I‘ve used the PaperTessDesigns planners for both 2023 and 2024 without any covers, and they are really durable.

@@ramblinganna it is great to hear! Did you carry them with you to work/school? I feel like the planner will turn into mess if I have it in my bag without the cover

@@planning_plain I just pop it in a book sleeve if I’m taking it in my bag, or in a pocket of a backpack rather than loose in the main compartment of the bag.

Really good flip-through of the papertess designs planner.
If I would be in a job which would require a lot of weekly planning I think I would probably go with a papertess planner. In my "normal" life I don't really need 7 empty pages / week, but for work purposes this could work very well that you could fit your whole week into a neat bundle. But, my job is not such that I need lots of planning or note taking which is why I have no use for it. But I do appreciate this planner any way. I wish papertess would come out with a weeks style planner. I know she has the weeks sized planner but that is so over structured I can't work with it.
What comes to the monthly planning. Before finding hobonichi I never did anything with the monthly spreads. Mostly because the way the planners I used to use were structured like the papertess that the monthly spreads were scattered throughout the year. But when I got my first weeks and the monthly's were all together this is when I started using them. Basically I just add the main events for the months in the spread: Doctor's appointements, work gigs, holidays or any other appointment that is important and/or has a set time.
This way if somebody asks me if I'm free on such and such date, I can see my month in a glance and I find it easier to plan ahead instead of flipping through to the right weekly layout. Now that I'm bujoing I make my months always in the beginning. This way they act also as my future planning spreads.
Looking forwards for your setup video, if you end up doing one.

yup. sometimes ive wanted this Papertess design too, where the months, weeks and dailies are bundled all together in a package, but that is so useless for future planning because you have to flip to other months to see what you have going on, whereas having all months, week and days "stacked" gives you a better picture of how your time is scheduled

@@AllTheArtsy makes sense. I don’t do that much long-term future planning, so I hope it will work for me

I used my papertess yearly all year Long even without a clear Cover, ITS really chunky and the Cover ist still totally fine. ITS more sturdy thank Sterling ink, i think, but also Like both.

I never knew what to do with monthlies either. Now I just jot down one thing about the day, and it works really well if I can't journal that day or need to figure out later where I was or what I did when. I have horrible memory when it comes to time, so this is quite helpful for me.
