How is the button feel of the D pad and other ABXY buttons? comparable to OEM SNES controller?
Took me quite a while to set mine up the way I like it. But if you have this device RetroArch, ATV Launcher and Button Mapper will make your life easier with this.

They come with games, but I don't know if it comes with Nintendo games.

my head is going to explode, only been waiting 3 days on shipping and it feels like 3 years. i can't wait. the thumbstick position is perfect in my opinion, because the majority of games i want to emulate use a direction pad. since i'll be using the dpad 90% of the time, i'd rather it be up top, closest to the screen. i think having a big analog stick between your thumb and the screen would be annoying for anything other than N64 and PS1.
Does it come preloaded with games?
If it has google chrome cant you download the apk for the playstore then just make that another app essentially?

I bought this device, the first one I received had dead pixels on the screen. Got it replaced then the second out of no where the software stopped working and short after the hardware stopped. Had to return it for a refund.

Thank you! I can strongly recommend it for Gameboy, and it should run DS pretty well too. As long as you're comfortable with the layout and having to fit 2 screens into 1, then it should be fine.

This is underrated, this looks much better than miyoo mini and anbernic copycat. Much stronger and has analogs that's a plus.

How do you extract gamecube games
I love this game console, however I've got one issue with it. It doesn't fully support multi disced games on it. I tried to finish Shenmue on mine but it won't let me go to disc 2. But other than that, it's really great.
Huh just press select to bring up the menu and choose disc 2

You dont get the play store on most chinese android boxes/devices because the play store requires your device to be google certified. Thats a massive pain in the ass when youre constantly releasing a new version with tweaked i/o and performance. Thus they opt to install versions of Android that doesnt have all the GAPPS installed... which, BTW, is good. Because many of these things constantly run in the background which would eat up precious RAM while you are trying to do emulation. Sideload your shit and stop expecting GAPPS to be installed on any chinese android device.

Only real advantage with this is the form factor if you like it and *maybe* the build quality, the RP3 is more performant, probably more comfortable for most, and of course the screen is better for widescreen hacks and PSP games.
Only complaint is can't sleep screen in android

My concern here is that you are testing alot of things on the emulators running on android.The linux OS they're using is more light weight and could totally change the performance. Without showing how those same games work on linux isn't an accurate representation of what is possible on the device out of the box.
Lower end consoles like snes etc....run well on cheaper devices. No point of getting this for that. This is only good for n64 then? I mean is it worth it?

Yup I habe the 353v and it's perfect for ps1 and earlier titles. All gameboy variants work great and snes works amazing. Highly recommend.

A little criticism, you could have tested dreamcast games too with Redream. I do think that this thing could definitely at the very least scratch dreamcast emulation especially with redream being such an amazingly optimized emulator. It sucks you didn't show it low-key.
On mine, you can't just gently press the L/R buttons, you have to apply quite a bit of pressure for the presses to register. Maybe my device is faulty 🤷

There are so many people doing what you do. I conversed with one guy that was at least nice enough to respond but I couldn't get a solid answer on what would be a good purchase for me. I am 52 disabled from pain and am finding it difficult to keep playing the same RPGs on my PS4 that I have played numerous times. I need variety and am looking for a plug n play that will give me a ton of RPGs because I don't know how to get emulators and roms. I bought a retroid 2 plus in April and can do nothing with it. I guess I will just give it to someone. I either want a console plug n play or a handheld preloaded that connects to the TV. Up to PSP or even higher if possible. I only saw one worth buying that played everything but it was 800 dollars. So do you know of anything worth buying for under 400 dollars that plays up to PSP or higher hopefully with USB controllers if it's a console because I don't want to buy batteries. So far from my research it's between the king with 117,000 games with a skull and green glowing eyes and the chuwi larkbox j4125 with batocera hard drive 2T or the 353v handheld. What do you think is the best out there?
Hello. Hopefully this will be helpful to you. Under $400, there are a ton of options to look at. I also understand that you would like something that comes preloaded with games, so between the options that you mentioned and even considering other devices that I own, I think that the RG353V is your best option. Because it comes preloaded with games (a lot of older RPGs, up to PSP but not too many PSP games). However, when it comes to older systems, then it should have a huge catalog for you to try out. You can also plug it into your TV and connect a controller either wired or over Bluetooth if you'd like.
@@TechSummitTV alright, if you think the best thing on the market that I don't have to do anything to it other than turn it on and play is the 353v with 35,000 games then I guess I will check it out. Doesn't the 2 terabyte batocera hard drive have more games though? If so what console do I buy that I would plug that hard drive into? I think the batocera 2 terabyte is roughly 95 dollars right? And what site do I trust to buy the 353 v? One site I looked at it at on the same site one that said 96 dollars and then almost 200 and then 260. It was very confusing
@@Dean-st7bw I don't know much about the 2TB Batocera drive, to be frank. So I can't really speak on it or whether or not it would even come with games preloaded.
But I can say with confidence that the RG353V should be able to deliver. You can buy it from the official Anbernic site (the link is in the description of this video). It will take some time to arrive but it is straight from the manufacturer.
@@TechSummitTV thank you. And the batocera hard drive looks like a cassette tape it's 2TB it has if I guessed over 70,000 to 120,000 plus games. It just needs to plug into something like a home computer or laptop but I have neither so I would have to buy one of these mini PC units that are about the size of a Rubik's cube. I just wouldn't know which one. I have seen too many videos from like 12 different people but never get a solid answer from any of them. You have given the strongest answer and I appreciate that. The only thing I have learned so far is that batocera is better than android, which unfortunately almost all of them run on. I think 5i or 7i whatever the hell that means. The preloaded SD cards that come with all of these emulation handhelds are problematic. For starters, they are often cheap cards that will fail quite quicky. Also the game library is not very carefully curated and has games in different languages with incorrect names.
Using a preloaded portable hard drive with Batocera could be worthwhile, but it is not a complete plug n play solution. Even if you get a little PC, like an old Dell or Lenovo, you do need to set it up to boot from the hard drive, and set up your preferred controller, which may not work automatically.
I would suggest a better plug n play solution is a Nintendo Switch. Yes, each game is more expensive, but it just works out of the box. There are also a whole ton of RPGs on it, including heaps of ports of older games.
