just rolled over a year on my Norden. rode a GS for over a decade...thought that was the best bike ever. Then I got the Norden. Love it. miss a center stand, but that's about it. Love this bike. Can commute on the Norden, urban ride, and chew pavement for hours. Then, we hit the dirt...she's a little wide, but God Damn does this thing love playing the dirt. that power, the low center of gravity...pure bliss. As far as problems, I had the weird cold start issue until about 5K Kms, then vanished. I also noticed that is drank some oil for the first 5K Km as well, but that has slowed. I don't miss my GS...this Norden is great. Just a great bike with very little compromises!
I have put 6,500 miles on mine in the past 6 months. Including rough single track. The Norden is my daily driver and I have grown to trust it a lot coming from all Japanese dual sports previously. They are so much fun on and off road too! Hands down my favorite bike ever.
@@OrthodoxTrooper Unfortunately, nothing. But I get it. I was a KTM/Husky hater too. All my previous bikes were Japanese dual sports and my buddies had started drinking the Orange Koolade while I stuck to bikes like the WR250R, DRZ400E etc. After dumping $10k into a 2022 CRF300L Rally with CBR300R cams, tune, intake, exhaust, Rally Raid Level II suspension, better seat, etc it still left much to be desired on longer trips. After putting 10k miles on it in a year and I decided to get an 2022/2023 Africa Twin to better suit my needs. Unfortunately Honda didnt want to sell me one. I called 10 different dealerships over a 2 month period, and finally found one that claimed to have 3 on the showroom floor. Before I left that morning I called again to verify they were available and I was pre-approved for an ATAS with just about any accessory I wanted. I rode 3 hours one way to the dealership. Walked in, and there was no Africa Twins in sight. A sales person never greeted or spoke to me while I was there for 15 minutes. Walked up to the front desk and told them I was there to buy an Africa Twin. A sales person said, "Oh yeah those bikes are still in crates but they are sold already." Im sure you can image that was really frustrating so I left and walked over to the KTM dealership next door. They had a 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R and a Tenere 700 on the shoroom next to each other. Test rode both and found the KTM to be much easier to maneuver at slow speeds like coming to a stop without putting my feet down and taking off again. It had gobs of power and made the Tenere feel anemic. I just couldnt get over how ugly the KTM was, but I was hooked after riding one. Decided to go home and think it over and after doing some research I landed on the Norden 901. I liked that it had a wide and more comfortable seat than the KTM. Also appreciated Cruise and Quickshifter not being extra on top of the purchase price. To top it off it doesnt look like a alien bug screaming for attention. I ride year round here and Texas and havent looked back on my purchase. The one I can neg about it is the hot exhaust, but I replaced the cat with a high flow cat thats smaller and heat was greatly reduced.
@@marcochavanne I totaly understand where you coming from.. crf 300 is too weak and small but good for some use cases like technical off road on a long distances or for someone who is not strong enough to handle a bigger bike.. I don't fancy japanese motorcycles my self I muvh prefer European brands for the looks and features but there is one big concern for someone who wants to travel the world and that is reliability and ktm has really bad reputation. My dream bike would be Norden expedition made by Yamaha or Honda, but they don't make such fun bikes. Honda dealers are such a crap here where I live in Europe as well, I wanted to test AF but they dont have it and they don't care for costumers.. you can only order and wait for months. Ducati is my favorite brand now tbh
@@OrthodoxTrooper I bet your Duc is a hoot. Everyone that has one seems to love them. Yeah I eventually felt the bike had been pushed to its limits and was holding me back. Im also a big guy at 6'3" and 260lbs so it was struggling to hold 75-80mph. As far as known issues on the Norden there are loose coolant clamps from the factory that can weep once they warm up, but snugging them up seems to fix that. There was a bad batch of rear shocks so several brand new ones had leaks on the showroom floors but that hasnt seemed to happen yet and they were all replaced. KTM did earn a bad reputation for a while so I can understand the apprehension about an around the world trip on one, but I am not sure if a Ducati would be my first pic for that either lol I do know some 790 KTMs were eating cams around 14,000 miles due too poorly tempered metallurgy but havent heard of any failures on the Nordens yet with their 890/901 engine. I rode close to 1,000 miles in a day to Colorado, beat on it on Engineers Pass and other mountain trails, camped solo off of the bike for a week, then rode it 1,000 miles back home to Texas with no issues.... well other than a screw I picked up in a tire 500 miles from home. But as far as long term reliability the proof wont exist for a few years until we see some with 50k miles. As long as we are smiling thats all that matters. Happy trails
Have basically the same story. Have crf300L and crf450RL but wanted a bigger bike so added the Norden 901 Expedition. Got it the last day of March and have put 8,500 miles on mine riding around the mountains of NC 🇺🇸. Couldn’t love it more. Was worried about the horror stories I’d heard about the KTM family of bikes but have had zero issues. Enjoy! 🏍️💨
An excellent, very honest and comprehensive review Runa . The bike suits you well .I have never worried about the touring screen view in your videos,,or seen it as an issue . For me personally, it is your comfort that comes first anyway.
Like Grhmnz says The windshield doesn’t bother me either. Your videos are so much more than what you see just in front of the bike. Your comfort is more important. But if you’re interested in to ride a season with the lower windshield you’re comparison between them both in a longer perspective also can be interesting for a lot of riders 🤔 So there can be pros and cons with both choice. 😊
That is interesting to hear! I figured some people perhaps were just too polite to say something 😂 It really is annoying for me as well when I edit the footage and see how big it is, so for my own sanity I will try a season with the normal screen too!
Yeas, I think I would like to try a season with the lower one. After all, I don't ride highways very much so it might not make a huge difference! We'll have to see I guess 😃
@@OffSheGoesADV I suggest you get the Puig clip on visor to use with the shorter windscreen. The standard screen sent the air directly into my faceplate and peak/visor causing terrible head vibration, but with the extra Puig it is going up above my helmet. As far as the camera, I don't have an issue with the touring screen in your videos, but the Puig is a bit flatter than the top edge of the touring screen so it could be more transparent for the camera. It certainly is less distorted to look through than the curving plastic parts of windscreens. Also you can adjust the angle of the edge to direct the air, which is nice when it's hot. I use the medium size (25cm x 10cm).
Oh my gosh, people were complaining about the screen? You need to do what's best for you as you are the one actually riding the bike. SMDH Safe travels, Runa. ❤
This it's an honest review done by someone who actually knows what she's talking about. Husqvarna chose a good ambassador who is honest with her opinions. I would buy it based on your findings 😊. Thank you Runa!
Excellent review. You really have done a good job with that. That bike really suits your needs and your riding. We have talked a lot about the bike and what you feel about it and me and I really can ensure you give us your honest opinion. Excellent work as usual Runa. 👍
Thank you, Jonas! 😊 It was a bit hard to select what to talk about, as there are so many aspects but I think these were the most important ones for me.
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv It’s a very long and very old cable from Norway to US 😊 Norway was the first country outside US that connected to “Arpanet” in June 15 1973. 🤩🇳🇴
Excellent review. I got the Expedition model and I love how versatile this bike is. You can drive hard off road but then 800 km straight on highway is no problem either. Engine is raw and powerfull. Not as sophisticated as others so it may not sound as reliable but so far it has been. 12000 km in without problems. On the minus side I like the instrument cluster bit too complicated to navigate. If you use this as commuter bike there is one (big) flaw when weather is hot (around +20degC up). Catalytic converter between your legs.. Oh boy it gets hot when you wait the traffic lights to change.. Oh one more thing.. Touring screen. Great on road but if you plan to drive more off road I recommend the lower version. Because when the bike suddenly decides to stop it is very easy to hit your throat to the touring screen and it hurts.
Loved the reivew, clear and honest. I considered a Norden when recently looking for a second bike to take on longer trips but eventually fell for the Triumph Scrambler 1200XE. There have been a lot of new great ADV bikes recently giving the T7 a run for its money. ATB Jason.
I`ve been at first service with my Svartpilen few days ago, they gave to try out this Norden 2023 normal version for couple of hours and oh my gosh, I`ve actually clean and shine out my 401 today for photos and I`m going to sell it as I desperately want this bike, I liked it that much.
Nice review! I have a '22 with about 5K miles and feel the same way about mine. I have owned everything from an XT250 to a KTM 1290SAT and this one is my new favorite. My previous favorite was a KTM 990 ADV that I put 50K miles on and wanted to get back to that. The Norden feels like a super modern version of the old 950-990 and that was a legendary bike way ahead of its time. Husky really did a great job with this one!
Real cool to read your experience. Especially having had such amazing bikes as the 1290 and definitely the 990. I would love to ride one someday soon. I bought the Norden 901 and have 8500 miles on it and love it. I’ve only had some Honda dual sports so wouldn’t know how it compared to some other bikes I’ve always liked and wanted to try so appreciate you sharing your experience. Enjoy 🏍️💨
Had mine since late summer like it a lot will list my upgrades. Larger screen , engine bash plate ,ergo heated seat , oe heated grips , adventure riding mode package, 2 finger leavers , camel adv heat shield. Now having new graphics fitted to make it look nicer and stand out more. Use it a lot for off road green laning next upgrade new tyres looking at rally raids. No issues with bike great machine
Really good review and I can agree with you also. I’ve put over 10,000km on my Norden in the past 18 months, I love it, I’m tall and also was worried that my long legs would be a problem for the seating position but, it never even comes into my thoughts. I just love to ride it, get onto back roads whenever I can. It’s been great for touring and camping here in Australia. It’s just such a fun bike, some small problems but to be honest, the smile I get when I ride, get bigger everyday
Great review of a very capable adventure middle weight. I am considering the 901 after 3 years on a V85TT. It has been a joy on the back roads and have 30k on the clock ridding it to AK for a month from Northern California but a little more pep and suspension sounds nice. The V85 is a very cool adventure travel but the factory support sucks and it wont pop a wheelie.
For two months now I own a 901 Expedition. I’m 209cm at 150 kg and the bike fits me perfectly. Today I was riding it at 2°C to work and I had to reduce the heated seat to medium because it was to hot on high! What I need to upgrade is my riding gear. But for that I have to save my money awhile. 😊

Thanks for your review. I think it'll be my next bike. I tried it and falled in love ! I agree with you on each point you mentionned. It's an excellent bike strong enough for duo and luggages. Very easy to ride, and with a special look (but I love it !). Ride safe and hi from France ! ✌️😉👍👍👍
Really nice review, great to hear some real world feedback. Really considering the Norden after 20 years on sports bikes it's time for a little comfort! I sat on one yesterday in the showroom and was a little concerned as like you could only get my toes down, great to hear you manage with that.
Please don't sacrifice your comfort for our enjoyment of your videos! To be honest, I didn't even notice it was an issue for me. I still enjoy your videos! ❤😉👍 BTW, I hope to have a Norden 901 Expedition one day. 🤞
What a beautiful background you chose for this video. Interesting review that adds to my perception of an adventure bike. My considerably cheaper NC750X DCT works for me at my age and level of experience. The Norden is admittedly a much more capable bike, especially for offroad riding.
I just watched your video on the Huskvana 901 review. Very useful. I am thinking of buying a adventure bike and looking at the 901 and the Honda 750 Transalp. You gave some great insights into the 901, thank you 😊
That was an excellent review Runa, really enjoyed hearing your honest thoughts. I sometimes wondered if you took your wool seat cover inside when you left the bike out in the rain overnight when camping or did you just have to ride with a wet seat ? I had not even noticed the windshield being "in the way" at all in the videos, maybe we bike riders get conditioned to it and just look past it as though it doesn't exist. You might regret the lower height if you replace it, it may direct the wind and rain (and bugs) straight into or slightly under your helmet and cause buffeting and a sore neck, but maybe it will be fine. You honestly don't need to sacrifice your comfort for us, your videos and the camera views are outstanding as they are. 🌞 It's a wonderful thing when you find a bike you really bond with isn't it ! Thanks muchly for sharing all your content and adventures, looking forward to seeing what you get up to in future rides. Cheers. 🤩🤩👍👍 🦘🦘🦘
Thank you! Glad you liked it 😊 I just leave the sheep skin on at all times. Since its all natural it still contains the lanolin fat, making it quite water repellant so it dryes up really quick in the rain 😊 And I'll have to reconsider going for the lower screen now with all your comments saying it doesnt bother you 😃 Probably gonna try the shorter one with a clip on or something first! Have a great evening! 😊
Runa, I know ladies don't like to state their weight, height, inseam... etc, but in this case that information would be helpful. I'm currently trying to make up my mind between the KTM 890R and this Norden Husqvarna Norden 901. Thank you for your video ... nicely done!
The all important word used in this analysis, Comfort/Comfortable ! regardless of what ever Bike in question, Once you are comfortable, It can smooth over many negatives that might present themselves, If you are content, (on any bike) Who cares if it's :- Slower, Not as efficient (fuel wise) Being satisfied is paramount, The Norden seems to have hit that mark with you personally, How good is that, 👍

I bought a Tenere and crashed it on my acceptance test ride in some loose gravel as I bought it. So top heavy, I blame the bike but I made an error by over accelerating out of a tight u turn. I found out, like you, its hard to pick up and carries its weight high. I'm thinking about a Norden, thanks for the review!! Mark in Wyoming USA.
Great review Runa i find no problem with the view though the screen from your camera you are the one that has to be comfortable especially doing the distances that you travel looking forward to the next adventure 😊
I have about 2,100km on my Husqvarna Expedition. I too find the seating position beneficial overall with riding. The edge at the back of the seat 6:48 is especially helpful when navigating a trail or rut that slopes down. It actually feels like I have a bit more control in those situations. I ride a lot on US Forest Service roads. Most of it is a mix of dirt and gravel, but there are often stretches that still have the old chip seal which is now broken and covered with sharp edged potholes. The 901 Expedition comes with the WP Explor suspension which is amazing. It is perhaps my favorite aspect of the bike. My one dislike is that any warning such as low fuel, maintenance req, or sensor error takes over the screen. I would like to see an option to shrink it down once read.
Great review. I’ve had mine for 12 months now. Absolutely love it! The only thing I’d change is the suspension. Perhaps I should have forked out the extra cash and got the Expedition..
I have the base model like yours. On the one hand I really really really like it, the bike is way more capable then I am and can do so much realy good. I'm a newbie for adv and im only 1m78. As an inexperienced adv-rider it feels a bit too high to feel comfortable when stopping sudenly on a sketchy roadprofile with significant dropp offs on the side and that is the other hand. The power is for me more than enough too be an interesting road bike. Sometimes i think about selling it and go back for a 4 in line sportbike and for example a caballero rally but both are not good for comfortable touring many kilometers in a day. The Norden is a really good compromise and gives you lots of fun times
29 inch inseam??? that was always mine. Always difficult reaching the ground on all motorcycles. Your windscreen was never an issue to me. It was always sound and music. I am surprised that none of the suck hole aluminum welds did not crack or break. Great review. Guess you are short like me too. Take care.
Hi Runa. Great review. Nice to see a review that is not just tech etc etc…I have e 10500 km on my Norden after 6 month of riding. I am completely in love with this bike. The only issue i have had is the electronics but that got taken care of by Husqvarna on warranty (ABS box). Hope to see you on the road next year. Hopefully you will be on a Norden. Best Regards Thomas SimpleGuyon2wheels
It's not a bike I'm personally interested in, but the way you presented the video and your thoughts about it are fantastic and many points in general are worth considering about any bike :) I thoroughly enjoy watching some of your journeys!
Brilliant informative video, nothing beats owners reviews, personal experience and likes and any dislikes. All your videos are excellent, looking forward to the video or videos from your visit to Andalusia, hopefully soon?
I must admit your DesertX does look good, especially the colour of the bike and the Mosko bags… maybe a collaboration with Runa would be good to test the different bike ergonomics, capabilities and features etc.
A great review, Runa! I'm glad to see that your channel is doing really well! :-) I believe I was among the first to find your channel. You've created wonderful content!! 😀 Are you changing bikes for next year??
Thank you! And so cool that you've been here all along! 😃 It's been quite the journey and I am looking forward to whats coming! I will share news about next years bike very soon 😁
I have a ktm 890 adv R. like every other ktm in the family they had their "first miles" issues as I call them. First 2-3k always something like leaking fork seals and a bit of oil sweating at the cover. But after the first km's they are bulletproof. And the performance and power is just out of this world so wouldn't trade it for those small things
Hi Runa, nice and informative video, thank you for sharing your experience about the Norden. I am also a fresh Norden owner. Before the Husky I had a BMW R1200 GS (2005) but I am really happy with the 20-25 kg less weight, the power and the consumption is the same, but I have a lot of useful electronics. I also upgraded to bigger windshield, maybe this is the only thing what was better on the GS. The central stand is a good thing, the wider side stander extension also. The soft lagguage is also in a test periode for me. Greetings from Transylvania. #alparsmotoadventure
Great review Runa, 😊 I’m happy to see that you have not had major issues with the bike. As I understand it had never stopped when you were out riding? Cheers and keep up your good job! 😊 Thank you!
Im using 2023 890adv, if you use quickshifter with veeerry litle throtle, it wll work really smooth. It is work especially with dpwnshifts, you wont get hard clunky shifts, try it
Very nice review - you seem to have a natural talent👌You smiled through nearly all this vid which seemed to express your honest enthusiam for this bike👍Will you need any special adaptions for smaller screen - windbuffeting - helmet mic? 🤔 😊
Thank you, Jeremy! 😊 What can I say? The bike brings me joy 😃 I'm not sure how much the smaller windscreen will affect the audio yet. I am already playing around with options other than what I have since it didn't work so well at the end of the season. Might go back to the DJI Mic!
Hi Runa great review 👌I bought the expedition and so far so good the upgraded suspension has been excellent and love the riding modes a more exciting bike to ride especially on expedition mode so lively , like yourself I had the tenere also but didn’t gel with it great bike loads of potential and a big following but not for me if the norden keeps its reliability then il be a happy man it’s such a great bike on the trails on traveling. Please do not change your windshield. They were doing the same thing to Noraly. She now mounts 1 camera on a stick above the windshield. Your awesome!! Let them sit on your fender holding a camera blocking the frigid wind for you for 14,000km.
Saludos!!!!
Badass bike. I want one but I think Im just to short. Most bikes are too tall for me I always just deal with it. Nice mirrors, stock ones suck… Enjoyed the video. Thx.
Thank you! I'm 175cm tall and the boots add a little bit too, which of course makes it easier. If you're looking for inspiration, take a look at for example @JocelinSnow . A pretty short woman who's absolutely rocking her GS. She has so many good tips and techniques to share about how to handle a big bike as a shorter rider. For any riders, really!
Point the front wheel in the direction of the lift and lock down the front brake with a band or a tie. (An emergency handkerchief.) Much easier. The bike will rise turning on the front axle. (20.45)
Nice review Runa. No snow in Norway at the end of November, must be in the south? I doubt your Twin Pegs will work with a center stand, they don't on a T7 anyway. This is a very general comment, but I think riders start getting concerned with reliability once the warranty runs out and the bike's longer-term reliability comes into focus. I agree, it 100% is a better set up (from factory), comfortable, tech-loaded bike than a T7 - the but is, what could happen when you are in the middle of no where... it's that ticking time bomb sensation....nothing may happen, or it strands you in the middle of the desert or forest, and where I ride, there aren't any people or cellular coverage for a long, long way. I wanted the Norden or KTM 890...but in the end went with a heavily modified T7 for that piece of mind.
Good point! 😊 I can only speak for myself, but I have enough trust in this machine to take it anywhere. Its minor problems have not been of such character that it leaves you stranded anywhere. Also this is still a relatively new bike to the market so I expect any major issues would be resolved 😊 And yes, I live close to Stavanger on the south west coast of Norway! Snow and ice here now - this video was definitely recorded last minute 😂
Very useful, sensible and helpful review. is a good bike for commuting honestly? daily use (comfortable) and weekend touring, of perhaps recreation purpose? this is better than ktm 890 for my purpose ? I only drive on public roads/highways... it is wise to jump from naked bike to this touring/Adventure for daily use. Any way great video Be safe
Great review. I'm thinking about a replacement for my V-Strom, and you've got me tempted. The Norden checks a lot of boxes in what I need from a bike, and the only real issue for me is that there's not much of a dealer network where I live. Did you get much of a chance to compare it with a KTM 890?
I love my Norden, it's the most enjoyable bike I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. I did have the infamous coolant leak which I took care of with a wider hose clamp. And my cruise control has quit functioning. I haven't had a chance to look into that yet, I still haven't found any service level technical info.
I too came from a T7 to a Norden , the screen for me on both bikes is rubbish ,on theT7 I fitted a powerbronze short screen and that was great, on the Norden however I fitted a wrs short screen which is a lot better but not as good yet as the T7. I have also fitted a peice of edging strip-the kind to protect a sharp edge, and that is again better, these small gripes don't alter the fact I think it's a great bike, and worth it to tinker a bit to get it just right for me .
Have you consider a different camera mount? I don't know if there is option; instead of the lower wind screen. Excellent video and explanation of your upgrade choices.

KTM did earn a bad reputation for a while so I can understand the apprehension about an around the world trip on one, but I am not sure if a Ducati would be my first pic for that either lol
I do know some 790 KTMs were eating cams around 14,000 miles due too poorly tempered metallurgy but havent heard of any failures on the Nordens yet with their 890/901 engine.
I agree with Grhmnz and Joones about the touring screen, it has never bothered me,,,, but now that it’s been pointed out it might 😂
That is interesting to hear!
SMDH
Safe travels, Runa. ❤
Exactly. The wind will beat you to death. My Honda Goldwing 1500 will put me to sleep. The wind screen was never an issue with me.
Impossible 20 hours ago. when I got it, it said 45 seconds ago. Is the internet that slow from Norway to South Florida???
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv It’s a very long and very old cable from Norway to US 😊
Norway was the first country outside US that connected to “Arpanet” in June 15 1973. 🤩🇳🇴
@@JoonesAdventuresMC What is arpanet??? I could not believe 20 hours. I think it is a communist plot to overthrow youtube. 😁
Well done, Runa. Yours is one of the best bike reviews I have seen and you certainly motivated me towards a Norden for future consideration.
Thanks to you Runa ( and a few others) I am picking up my brand new Norden a week this Saturday . Thanks for all your videos
FWIW I have never found a tall screen an issue in any of your videos and, frankly, I’d rather you were safe and comfortable!
When it's not in the shop or waiting for back ordered parts, it's brilliant
For two months now I own a 901 Expedition. I’m 209cm at 150 kg and the bike fits me perfectly. Today I was riding it at 2°C to work and I had to reduce the heated seat to medium because it was to hot on high! What I need to upgrade is my riding gear. But for that I have to save my money awhile. 😊
Good to know. I'm also having a 2 at the first number of my height and considering the Norden 🤔
@@HansiDampfKann ich nur empfehlen! 😊👍
Je suis en total accord avec vous après avoir fait 12000 kms avec ma Norden, c'est une excellente moto, toutes vos remarques sont très justes.

Thanks for your review. I think it'll be my next bike. I tried it and falled in love ! I agree with you on each point you mentionned. It's an excellent bike strong enough for duo and luggages. Very easy to ride, and with a special look (but I love it !). Ride safe and hi from France ! ✌️😉👍👍👍
I have a 2023 with 5000 miles, no problems. I love mine. Good video!
BTW, I hope to have a Norden 901 Expedition one day. 🤞
Thanks again for another great video.
To me, you look more comfortable and even happier on the Norden over the T7
Thanks for your test with your pros and cons. The Norden Expedition will be my first Motorbike. Drive Safe! Thanks a lot!
Great review Runa, I agree with your opinions👍 I own a Tenere and a Norden and I definitely enjoy riding the Norden more these days…
Thank you! 😊 It is interesting that you also can compare these two and have similar experiences!
You gave some great insights into the 901, thank you 😊
Thank you, glad to give you my perspective of the bike 😃 I'm sure you'll end up with a bike you'll love - it's hard to go wrong with most of them!
The all important word used in this analysis,
Comfort/Comfortable !
regardless of what ever Bike in question, Once you are comfortable, It can smooth over many negatives that might present themselves,
If you are content, (on any bike) Who cares if it's :-
Slower,
Not as efficient (fuel wise)
Being satisfied is paramount, The Norden seems to have hit that mark with you personally, How good is that, 👍

Runa ,I feel ,you speak from the heart ,a great review.
Thanks for sharing your adventures, experiences, and honest opinion
An ambassador's review, she likes it!
Great review. I’ve had mine for 12 months now. Absolutely love it! The only thing I’d change is the suspension. Perhaps I should have forked out the extra cash and got the Expedition..
Good review and it confirmed my opinions of the Norden. I’m getting the standard model this year.
Fantastic, I hope you'll like it as much as I do 😃
@@OffSheGoesADV I wish I can ride this bike hopefully and go on a trip with u
Parabéns Runa, excelente explanação sobre a Norden e seus acessórios. Muito honesto de sua parte.
Thanks for your opinion. I love this bike for sure! Also like your Klim gear.
29 inch inseam??? that was always mine. Always difficult reaching the ground on all motorcycles. Your windscreen was never an issue to me. It was always sound and music. I am surprised that none of the suck hole aluminum welds did not crack or break. Great review. Guess you are short like me too. Take care.
Thanks for the review, Runa! Looking forward to your next adventures. 🙂
That sheepskin cover should be standard, it looks great on that bike!
Best Regards

Hi, Thomas! Glad to hear your issues were resolved, and you're still enjoying the bike! 😊 Did they have to change the whole box?
Have a great weekend!
@@OffSheGoesADV Yepp, changed the whole box. 4 hours job😳 great weekend back!
Great review of the bike, thank you.
Def a bike I'd want to test ride. I love the seat cover, thats what am after!
It's not a bike I'm personally interested in, but the way you presented the video and your thoughts about it are fantastic and many points in general are worth considering about any bike :)
I thoroughly enjoy watching some of your journeys!
Thank you Jamie! 😃 Appreciate that!
Brilliant informative video, nothing beats owners reviews, personal experience and likes and any dislikes. All your videos are excellent, looking forward to the video or videos from your visit to Andalusia, hopefully soon?
Thank you! 😊 Still need to wrap up season 5, and a couple other videos recorded this fall, and then Andalusia video coming 😃
It ain't no DesertX but I watched the whole thing 😁 You sure have a nice way of making a review. Gonna be some amazing adventures next year!
I must admit your DesertX does look good, especially the colour of the bike and the Mosko bags… maybe a collaboration with Runa would be good to test the different bike ergonomics, capabilities and features etc.
Hahah 😂 That says something! Thank you Leo, really looking forward to the upcoming year!
I'm impressed you put that many miles on so fast!
Cool review! 😊 I live in Norway but come from Uppsala. I got my license last year and Im planing on importing one of these to Norway 😊
Thats interesting to hear! I'm curious to see how these hold up after a few years and a decent number on the odometer!
Very good comprehensive review Runa👌
I have KTM 890 adventure R - and this Norden looks much better :D Great bike for travellers!
#alparsmotoadventure
thanks for your effort Runa, good job 👏👏👏
Great review Runa, 😊 I’m happy to see that you have not had major issues with the bike. As I understand it had never stopped when you were out riding?

Hi Runa awesome review great job keep up the great work !!
Im using 2023 890adv, if you use quickshifter with veeerry litle throtle, it wll work really smooth. It is work especially with dpwnshifts, you wont get hard clunky shifts, try it
The cross brace is missing from your pannier racks, which is why they are not as sturdy as they should be. Great review!
Thanks for the heads up! That definitely would have made a difference! I'll look into it
Very nice review - you seem to have a natural talent👌You smiled through nearly all this vid which seemed to express your honest enthusiam for this bike👍Will you need any special adaptions for smaller screen - windbuffeting - helmet mic?
Double take mirrors are a awesome i also would recommend.
nice bike and very nice explanation about it,,,well done,,,,,,,,,,,

Thank you, young lady for this exellent review! 😍
Nice bike- nice review- and dammit, Im in love!
Looking good
Great review Runa. I have the original KTM Adventure SA. Might look at a Nordon for my next bike.
There is a screw by the aux lights to tilt them a bit down. That should help with the blinking from oncoming traffic
Aah! Thanks, yeah that would def make it better!
Nice bike.. and scenery.
Thank you very helpful, I’m the market for a mid sized adventure bike.
I love my 2022 Norden with 6,500 miles.
Any way great video
Be safe
Nice review, good detail.
I wish i could trade my Triumph Tiger for this one, although i would go for the expedition version straight away
The stalling early on was probably the valves. Valves have seated. Power is probably up too.
That would make sense! Thanks 😊
Niiiiiiice info, thanks and have Best trips....👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰
I love my Norden, it's the most enjoyable bike I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. I did have the infamous coolant leak which I took care of with a wider hose clamp. And my cruise control has quit functioning. I haven't had a chance to look into that yet, I still haven't found any service level technical info.
Sorry to hear that! Perhaps that as well could be with the ABS module 🤔
I too came from a T7 to a Norden , the screen for me on both bikes is rubbish ,on theT7 I fitted a powerbronze short screen and that was great, on the Norden however I fitted a wrs short screen which is a lot better but not as good yet as the T7.
I have also fitted a peice of edging strip-the kind to protect a sharp edge, and that is again better,
these small gripes don't alter the fact I think it's a great bike, and worth it to tinker a bit to get it just right for me .
12:57-13:55 MIRRORS ARE SO IMPORTANT RUNA JI THEY ARE SUCH A LIFE SAVING ACCESSORY RUNA JI😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice honest review good video
Have you consider a different camera mount? I don't know if there is option; instead of the lower wind screen. Excellent video and explanation of your upgrade choices.
I will definitely look into different mounts! 😊
