I'm the same height as you and I have the same bike, fits me fine.I love it. So good on and off road and once you enable the extra ride modes you're gonna fall in love.
To me Off She Goes this is all news to me. But as I enjoyed watching your vids, tall or small makes no difference girl. Have a good weekend and be seeing you in your next up-load 👌🖖.
I applaud your honesty, Runa, explaining that you were simply offered an opportunity to be an ambassador for Husqvarna, and accepted the offer. It doesn't necessarily mean you will suddenly become a smiling Husqvarna salesperson, explaining the latest payment plan. Your transparency will build loyalty for you and your channel (along with your playfulness, such as the humorous opening for this video). On this Sunday morning, with a multitude of youtube choices, I chose your video first.
“It doesn't necessarily mean you will suddenly become a smiling Husqvarna salesperson…” Oh yes, it does. This is what being a company ambassador means. Btw I’m interested in the bike and suddenly I’ve discovered Runa’s channel. Subscribed and having a look at all of her videos.
Thank you Ken, this comment made me smile 😊 And you are correct. I had a very open discussion with Husqvarna about the fact that they don't mind me sharing anything I possibly DON'T like about the bike too. They understand how important it is to be honest, and real these days. Most people see right through excessive boasting anyways!
Hello Runa. Itchy Boots has just now sent her followers here while she takes some time off. We are a very loyal bunch and have been following Itchy Boots for a few years but I took her advice. I selected to begin at this video where you introduce a new bike because it's a simple theme without outside interruptions. I'm glad to say that you made me feel "at home" right from the start. I hope to catch up with your latest video in a few weeks. 🏍🙂
Love your videos. You speak plainly and very pleasant to listen to. All of us non techy people really appreciate you for sharing your insights with us. Keep it up!
Honestly, I think it's good that content creators are transparent that it is a lot of hard work and not just a ton of freebies and easy living so kudos for actually including that question. Looking forward to see your travel videos for this summer (and maybe a second impression-video once you've put some mileage on your new ride?). I'm headed out on my first proper long trip over the midsummer week (southern Sweden up to Norrbotten and back again) with some motocamping and stuff along the way, so I've been going through your backlog and taking mental notes before setting out ;)
Thank you Chris! Appreciate that 😊 Second impression video definitely coming up after I've hade the chance to ride it a few thousand km's and really get a feel for it! Have a great trip, and I hope the weather is on your side 😃
Hi Runa. Thank for the video! Last year I did a trip Switzerland to north cape and spent time to discover Scandinavia (7 weeks) This year I decided to change of bike and to bought a Norden! I Had a very good trip with my KTM Superduke R but I was limited sometimes because it’s a sport bike and not very adapted for gravel road. This year I can enjoy the road with the Norden and I hope I can come back in the North in the futur! You live in a very beautiful area and I discover the seems of liberty during my trip. The good temp and weather permise me to do already 3500km with the Norden and I enjoy each of them! Thanks a lot to sharing your experience and the beautiful sceneries of your trips. My next goal is Island and each of your video confirm my choice. I wish you a lot of pleasure and travel and maybe hope to meet you by hasard in a beautiful road somewhere in the world! Regards Jo.
I highly respect your transparency with regards to your independence & finances.. I am in the states and since I was 15 I always worked for what I have thru working for others & saving, then in 89 becoming self employed with me as bidder, worker & accounter as an electrician.....I'm 69 this month and took up motocamping back in Nov 22 after being off motorcycles for 12 yrs. Your steadfastness in your own goals for yourself is in high regard and I applaud you for it. Travel safe, have fun, and don't ever change.....honesty & integrity & your struggles produce strong character!! Thank you!
Riding different bikes is such a great experience. I've ridden bikes I wouldn't buy, but then I understood why other people buy them. I love that about motorcycles. Keep up the good work.
Exactly! It's all about finding what works for yourself and makes you enjoy riding! With so many different bikes out there we're all bound to find a good match
Brave lady I may say. Not hiding anything from their fans. Very clear and real explanations about the bike she rides (I did not feel any "sponsor oriented" approach in her comments). And also, very open on her comments about "income source" which is always a curious thing for YT community. Great stuff, once more!
I've stopped caring about other peoples bank account, because I can only live my own life. I really see it in your personality that you do work hard for yourself, and then all of that is deserved because it's your own effort. Some may be jealous that you have this bike now, but you are only borrowing it. There's pros and cons to anything in life, and personally I'd rather have my own thing, but being able to try new things is of big value and that's something I also had the opportunity of when I worked at a dealer. I tested lots of bikes I would never had been able to, and the important part is that I had to deliver them back everytime and clean them up and fill a full tank and all of that. It's not yours at the end of the day. Bottom line is that most people just need to start pushing themself forward instead to see what they can do, and when we really start to understand things in this world there are a lot of debt most people are in. Just focus at your own budget instead because that's the only thing you can work with.
Nice video of a great bike. I bought a used 901 on Jan 31, rode it for 3100 miles and today I watched as the salvage truck took what was left of it away, this being the result of a distracted teenage pickup truck driver smashing into it and driving me into a car stopped in front of me on April 30th . I do feel the size and superb build quality of the Norden probably contributed to not being killed, I absolutely love that bike and some day hopefully I will be on one again. Enjoy the new bike , they sure are special ...
Holy sh*t! That sounds like quite the accident. I hope you were not to badly injured. Sorry to hear about the bike, and hope you'll find yourself owning one again!
I wish you good luck in your new ventures. I've had a business for 36 years, and it can sometimes be scary, but the independance it brings can't be replaced by anything else. So, keep going strong!
I like how you gave us your first impression of the bike from a riders perspective, without focusing on tech and horsepower . I wish you success with your business venture ,and look forward to future videos.
Thank you! I figure if people want only the specs, they can easily find them all over the internet 😊 Thanks for watching, looking forward to share more!
Hello Runa, I also like traveling by motorbike and I love seeing the beautiful landscapes you show. Congratulations on the channel. I wish you the best adventures and much happiness. Thanks.
Congratulations, hard work always pays one more than the money. Wish you success and thanks for sharing. I just watched “Wow” episode. I love the slow down approach. On some of my trips I just stay two days in those great beautiful and relaying places.
Hi ..my name is Abhi and im from India .as listening you just found we are same type of passionate about travelling ..keep work hard travel as much as you can . My wishes always with you 😊😇
Runa your a true inspiration! I applaud your sense of adventure and your seemingly fearless pursuit of your dreams to ride motorcycles all over the world and produce the highest quality video journals to share with us all! I have always loved taking off on my own, often with out plans and just go. I just have not been able to take as much time off as I might have liked, no regrets there, but your videos have re-motivated to take the time and explore on my bikes. Keep safe out there and thank you for all you do!
Nice update and thoughts on your new bike Runa, what cached me most though was your honest and openly words on your every day struggle and situation. I can recognize some of it ofc. Congrats to the step into and journey to self employment, a big hug and push for you to get success wivh i'm very sure you will have and make! See You on the trails 💪🤠🔥
Thank you Mattias!😊 I have had so many questions about it, and assumptions that one have to be wealthy to do what we do, which is not the case! Ride safe 🤜🤛 🤩
Thank you for your excellent post. Most insightful and informative, and I loved your entrance to the video - it made e chuckle. I only have one thing to suggest, and of course you may disregard this - I have seen some of your posts through Norway and Iceland and with such glorious backdrops at your disposal, could you have perhaps chosen a better one for this video? Just might have made it a little more appealing as the weather seemed a little dull. But apart from that, it was excellent. Geoff from Fremantle Western Australia.
I had a chance to take a look at that Norden last weekend, it was more massive than i expected but riding positions felt really good (bike was just stationary but i got the idea about it). I was surprised how light that bike felt despise that bulky build, it actually felt lighter than Tenere. One thing i noticed was how well hidden / protected radiator is, which is awesome. There's lots of bikes with fully exposed radiator and that ain't good at all, it seems Husqvarna gave it a proper thought. 🙂 Have a safe travels out there
Love your videos safe travels this year your personality is so sweet our ridding season here is well under way also weather has been warm mostly in upstate NY
Well done Runa on starting your own company, I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to quit your job! I hope it all works out well for you👍Fantastic video once again, I can't wait to see you put the bike through its paces now, its a very nice bike👍
Really god information both about the bike and personal about you i wisch You the wery best and i will follow your journey god luck and stay safe out there😊👍
Hi Runa, you look amazing like your new Norden, I got it too and it's so much fun and you will always feel safe in your travels. A piece of advice: never justify your choices because those who judge you are only envious, you are beautiful, intelligent and tenacious therefore Runa GOOD WAY! PS: in Italy Norden costs €16,000 😉
Congratulations for you content and your determination. I liked so much your channel and your content. I travel in your trips. Your business will work!!!
Hello Runa! I am new to your channel. I literally just started watching your channel over the weekend. This is actually the third video of yours I watched. First off, I think it's awesome you are a strong independent person and I'm impressed by your honesty. I left home after high school but I went in the military. I also love motorcycles and have been riding a long time. I enjoyed this bike review and am looking forward to your journey. Ride safe! Take care.
I love that you are talking about seat height! That is a real challenge for me (I'm 160 cm tall) and even if I know there are a lot of techniques to ride a tall bike, i hate the fact that most bikes on the market feels far too tall for me. There must be a market gap there that someone should take advantage of! :) Thanks!
Definitely, it seems like most bikes with lower seat heights are cruisers/customs. I'm sure there are engineers out there who could figure out how to make more bikes more inclusive 😊
18:53-22:23 THAT'S SUCH AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY RUNA JI YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION WOWWW YOU ARE SO COOL RUNA JI ONE DAY YOU WILL GET THE REWARD FOR YOUR HONESTY AND HARDWORK😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥲🥲
The Norden 901 was the bike I waited for - and at least didn´t buy, just cause seat height. The seat is pretty nice and relaxed, but bright too. So the 850mm are a lil bit high - and I felt better at least with the Tiger 900 GT Pro (lower seat height, but not half that nice look). Do I regret my choice? Looing at my Tiger Lilly (how I call her) - optic subjects: yes, its not a "sexy" bike. But to ride this - and the easy way to ride it - I love it. If I was just bout 5-6cm taller - maybe I would be actually same happy with the Norden. I think, you´ve made A good choice, as long as you feel comfortable and well. Anything else - doesn´t matter.
Being on your tiptoes is very difficult! So be super careful with those slow maneuvers! Stopping on roadside stops etc. and putting your feet down can be a long way down. Especially with sloping pavement. I'm glad to be following you!
It sure took some getting used to, and I've had my accidents as expected 😂 It's all practice though and hopefully, we will be fine! 😊 Glad to have you, Kyle!
Your motorcycle is also very nice and I liked it straight away, I had already written to you about it. Just missed your pastries. I think, with this motorcycle, you drive much more balanced and you have a better handling... I wish you a lot of fun with it and always a safe ride...👍❤
Good review 😊 I am about 179cm tall, 31 inch inseam and sit on the bike pretty much just like you. The position standing up might be good enough out of factory but believe me 25mm risers will make it better still.😊
Try a V-Stream windshield. When I'm doing long pavement rides the V-Stream protects my head & shoulders from wind and in rain really protects my upper body.
Great bike - great presentation. Only gripes I have with the standard 901 are the wind protection with this screen, heat dissipation and std rear shock. Looking forward to your upcoming rides. Subscribed
I have the new Norden Expedition and love mine after 2,000 miles. Enjoy! Subscribed and look forward to following along and seeing how you like it. 🏍️💨
Great video Runa 😁 I have to say I’ll miss watching you and Loke riding around, but I’m very curious how you’ll get along without your new buddy 😛 I am returning to Norway at the end of the season, so I hope I get to go for a ride with you and maybe have a coffee 😛
I have the same trouble as you. My Transalp 650's "touring" screen makes my head bob around like the old nodding dogs you used to buy for the back shelf of a 60's car ! The original standard screen is about 15cm lower, but there's no turbulence. The only downside to this is that you're open to the elements from the chest up. I haven't heard of an ideal screen yet ! Looking forward to your Scandi-tour on teh Husky ;)
Well a bit more wind and weather on the body is often to prefer over that bobbing and hitting int he head 😂 It's draining on long days! Thanks for watching and I'm looking forward to share my next adventure 😃
Good to see you back Runa, look forward to some of your new adventures on the Norden with your quirky no nonsense banter swearing potty mouth 🤣 Fair do on taking the jump with work, It is a risk, but a risk worth taking whilst you are still young and getting all these great opportunities from Klim, Husky etc...
Runa I’m 176 cm. Have a Norden like your and 5 month ago putted a low kit and changed a stock seat to low seat . And totally minus 3 cm. It is enough. Nothing bad for the ride on road. And for me nothing bad for of road. Highly recommend to do it if you not going to go in the real off-road.
not to many people take chances like that on starting a business, good for you! prioritizing is something everyone needs to learn, i wish i would have learned that from the get go, which i did not lol, but the past few years, i've gotten way better at it......took the msf adv course a couple of weeks ago, i need to find some noobs like me to ride offroad, i need a lot of practice since i have a little bigger bike....looking forward to your new videos! i waas just telling someone yesterday i would love to go to Norway before i get to old and need a walker! LOL sláinte
Thank you for the encouragement, Ed! 😊 It is scary but I have a feeling it will be worth it 😃 I hope you'll find your group and have the best time practicing, it sure is a lot of fun. Then hopefully you can start planning your trip to Norway 😎 Looking forward to sharing the upcoming trip with you guys!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing your thoughts. 👍🏾 I think I just decided to get the same bike as my upgrade this morning. One of our biggest dealers in the area (Fay Myers) hosted their 75th Anniversary Festival today and had pretty much every adventure bike you can think of there except the Tenere, HD Pan America, and Africa Twin. Fortunately, I have checked all of those out within the past month too. After sitting on and checking out every single ADV bike I am interested in at one event, the Norden 901 base model came out as my favorite by a considerable margin. Seat height is really important for me too at 5’6” w/ a 29” inseam and, much to my surprise, I could get a foot down on the Norden as easily as I can the updated base KTM 890 Adventure. I let people convince me that there’s a huge difference, but there is not. I love the look and styling and feels like a perfect choice for where and how I ride.
That sounds great! 😊 It sure is hard to choose from all the great bikes out there. I don't think any of them are necessarily better than the other; it's all about finding a bike that fits YOUR needs, like you're saying 😊 I hope you'll be happy with your choice, ride safe!
I also sold my KTM because of ass pain. Starting my trip from Stavanger to Nordkapp within 2 weeks on my new 750GS, also got the comfort seat for this bike so hope it will be a pain free trip.
One year late. I have buy thartbike. I really love how it looks. The dealership had an 2023 model soy i buy it a little bit more cheap because of the end of year offer. Now waitng for the bike pretty nervious
I AM NOT 6´7 FEET TALL!!! 😂Apparently, the conversion calculator I was using did me dirty!
I am 175cm = about 5´8 feet I believe?
lol basically the same as me 5,8 175cm and 29inch inseam, loving the pegs on that bike, they are huge if standard
I'm the same height as you and I have the same bike, fits me fine.I love it. So good on and off road and once you enable the extra ride modes you're gonna fall in love.
why did you Replace the tenere 700 motor? I'm very disappointed, and it's a very bad choice, and it makes me stop following your TH-cam channel.
I'm sorry.. bye
To me Off She Goes this is all news to me. But as I enjoyed watching your vids, tall or small makes no difference girl. Have a good weekend and be seeing you in your next up-load 👌🖖.

I am sure I will, looking forward to explore 😃
I checked out your bike today at the Triumph dealer, very nice looking, I like most of it. I have the CFMOTO 800MT
Happy for you you worked hard for this keep up the great work can't wait to see more !!!
good luck with everything you do mate , look forward to more vids 🙂
Thank you! 😊
Thank you Livio! You are right 😊 And wow, that is a massive difference in price 😱
Congratulations for you content and your determination. I liked so much your channel and your content. I travel in your trips. Your business will work!!!
Thank you very much! 😊
Ride safe! Take care.
9:08-9:15 SO HONEST ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video Runa, thanks for sharing! PS you missed to include the bloopers 😁👍
Thank you Nelio! Hahah the bloopers are better off in a separate video 😂
Thank you very much! 😊 That is very kind of you. And have a nice and safe ride through southern Europe 😃
Your motorcycle is also very nice and I liked it straight away, I had already written to you about it. Just missed your pastries. I think, with this motorcycle, you drive much more balanced and you have a better handling... I wish you a lot of fun with it and always a safe ride...👍❤
Thank you Joachim 😃 I think it will be a great fit too! Looking forward to share more with you guys soon 😊
we have missed you❤
Thanks for sharing some information about yourself.
Good review 😊 I am about 179cm tall, 31 inch inseam and sit on the bike pretty much just like you. The position standing up might be good enough out of factory but believe me 25mm risers will make it better still.😊
Thanks for the tip! I might have to look into that then 😃
Congratulations on this bike you deserve it my pretty girl
Try a V-Stream windshield. When I'm doing long pavement rides the V-Stream protects my head & shoulders from wind and in rain really protects my upper body.
Great bike - great presentation.
Only gripes I have with the standard 901 are the wind protection with this screen, heat dissipation and std rear shock.
Looking forward to your upcoming rides.

Gratulerer med cyklen din. 😊
Enjoyed the video and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing how you like this bike. Curious about the long term reliability and maintenance cost.
Добрый день, красивый байк !
I am a nurse too . From Sweden :-) Getting my MC license in september... I hope! Cheers!
Hey love from India, I watch your video regularly 👍
I have the new Norden Expedition and love mine after 2,000 miles.
Enjoy! Subscribed and look forward to following along and seeing how you like it.
🏍️💨
That's awesome! Keep enjoying it and ride safe 😄
Love From Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
i love this video and your final contentes. Go ahead!!!!
The true reliability of the bike over time.
Based on a constant use of daily adventure touring over different surfaces & conditions.
Great video Runa 😁
I have to say I’ll miss watching you and Loke riding around, but I’m very curious how you’ll get along without your new buddy 😛
I am returning to Norway at the end of the season, so I hope I get to go for a ride with you and maybe have a coffee 😛
Thank you Kenneth! 😊 I'm definitely up for a ride and a coffee of we find ourselves in the same area 😃
Good to see you back Runa, look forward to some of your new adventures on the Norden with your quirky no nonsense banter swearing potty mouth 🤣
Fair do on taking the jump with work, It is a risk, but a risk worth taking whilst you are still young and getting all these great opportunities from Klim, Husky etc...
Hahaha 😂 Thank you! That made me laugh. And you are right - just gotta take a chance sometimes and this is definitely one of those times!
That is great to hear, I haven't heard of anyone putting on the lowering kit yet! Thanks for the info 😊
Just stulbled upon your channel. Subbed to join you on this build. Very interested in the Norden for long distance travel and camping.
Welcome to my little corner on TH-cam, hope you'll like it! 😊 Video with upgrades coming soon
not to many people take chances like that on starting a business, good for you! prioritizing is something everyone needs to learn, i wish i would have learned that from the get go, which i did not lol, but the past few years, i've gotten way better at it......took the msf adv course a couple of weeks ago, i need to find some noobs like me to ride offroad, i need a lot of practice since i have a little bigger bike....looking forward to your new videos! i waas just telling someone yesterday i would love to go to Norway before i get to old and need a walker!
Congratulations on your new work endeavor and good luck! Now go ride would ya...
Nice balance of info 👌Worth the effort 😉. Welcome to the self-employed club! 😊
Thank you! 😃
@@OffSheGoesADV I agree 100%. Thank you so much!
your new motorcycle is very pretty❤
Lucky you, congratulations 👌🍻
I also sold my KTM because of ass pain. Starting my trip from Stavanger to Nordkapp within 2 weeks on my new 750GS, also got the comfort seat for this bike so hope it will be a pain free trip.
That sounds like a wise decision! I hop you'll have a fantastic trip with great weather 😊 Ride safe!
Don't let them bug you about what you ride, riding is Fun, not a job and should be treated as such! stay safe
Удивительная, обаятельная, открытая и очень милая.
16:40-16:48 THAT'S MY KIND OF THINKING RUNA JI😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍👍❤👍👍❤🥰👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍👍❤👍❤👍❤👍👍❤👍❤👍👍❤🥰❤🥰🥰❤👍❤😍❤😍❤😍❤👍👍❤👍❤🥰👍❤👍❤👍
